There is a real satisfaction to catching fish on lures and flies that you have made yourself. Good stuff Jay! Also Jay, don't stick your fingers in hot plastic! Lol
Jay honestly u are my favourite fishing TH-camr. Extremely sad u don’t have more subscribers because the effort u put in is crazy. Keep up the great videos
Literally just watched your other lure making videos. Love the vids, and the cinematography in your films/videos is nothing short of inspiring. Keep em coming!
Awesome! I’ve been saving my wrecked plastic since you released your first mold video.. ready to make a few pounds of new senkos now . Keep these homemade lure videos coming. Also I have to request you carve yourself a big jointed pike bait. It’s super easy and they are very effective in your area!!!
Wicked video! I Think this next winter I'm gonna dive into do it molds. Be a great pass time and once you have everything it can be cheaper in the long run.
Jay if you are having "miss fires its because your molds are cold and have moisture in the metal Those miss fires is the moisture escaping heat up your molds with a heat gun or torch to pushout the moisture and you should be fine.
Do you need to add a gardener to the plastisol, or does the heating cycle activate it so it hardens in the molds? It seems to pour out of the jug quite easily
So jay I don’t fish nearly as much as you do but if I was you and was fishing a swim bait in a jig head what I do is glue the bait to the head of the jig head with gorilla glu and I use half the plastics
Read a article the other day that said your fish population on the Canadian side of Lake of the Wood's is in danger. That's a shame they need to stop the commercial fishing. It's such a beautiful lake to destroy for a few fillets😥
excellent video as always Jay! Canadians are great teachers, love it!
Thanks so much!! Glad you liked it!
Another Video from Jay! Hallelujah!!
Doing my best!!!
I live about 20 miles from the Do-It mold factory. Great bunch of guys, very friendly and super knowledgeable.

Hey that's good to know! Thanks!
Do you prefer a keitech, Shad style, or like an xzone swammer style plastic for pike and walleye?
I think it all depends on the situation!
What’s your favorite line to use on lake of the woods for walleye with the soft plastics
10lb Powerpro Braid
Love the vids!
Thank you so much!!
Sweet!!!!
Thanks!!

Absolutely. With the border closure it has had two great spawning years. Hopefully that helps!
@@JaySiemens same with the Minnesota side, with Canada being closed its getting fished pretty hard.
Did you stop by oak island?! Think I saw you
Could've been me!
now i would like to see you re-melt elaz-tech idk how it will end up but it will be entertaining and cool to see the result
Good idea!
How similar are those to an Keitech easy shiner?
Very similar!
Good stuff Jay, is that some kind of LOTW SLAM?
Wasn't the goal but it worked out!! Thanks for watching!!
what rod you prefer for swimbaits?

What kind of rod are you using? It looked a lot like a G-Loomis

2:01 😳😳
Are you using the soft or regular plastisol?
I'll have to double check but I'm pretty sure its regular!
Which NRX model is that?
902S JWR
I was about to order until I found that shipping was going to be 135$ to Ontario for a starter kit and one mold. Bummer 👎
