Waiting for PPR/Visa could be very stressful. Refreshing the emails, again and again, to hear the good news can be depressing.
1. Do things in the meantime which you have been thinking of doing;
- Visit places you wanted to go
2. Make a list of things that are essential to carry.
- Take decisions on managing your finances back in your home country; closing extra bank accounts.
- Medical/Dental Treatments
3. Learn certain skills of managing things by yourself: like cleaning/cooking/ for girls: beauty services like threading as well
- Learn languages(English/French) or develop skills needed for your work
4. Networking and preparing for jobs
5. Trust the process and timeliness, having anxiety will not speed up the process
6. Don't check again and again as this will increase the anxiety only. if you don't have gckey login you can check by calling the IRCC helpline number; we will be making a video on this soon.

Hi, have you submitted the work permit or given the details to some agent, because once you submit your work permit application, biometric instruction letter is generated, and with that you can give biomterics, after that it takes sometime for PPR.

Can someone please let me know that how much time will it take to receive decision from the IRCC with following timeline, any estimate ? I have applied paper based.

Medical may take upto 1 month in processing.
Once medicals are fine, they will do investigation and see if you have any criminal history.
So it may take 1.5 months.
