It’s a great place but you need to bilingual. Else even if by any chance u get a certification but if don’t know how to communicate in French then you won’t be able to survive.

Hii, you have to check if the university/college is in the DLI, you can search on Google, you can also mail the university/college asking about this
Montreal is one of the best cities to live in Canada. The cost of living is extremely low compared to other metropolitan cities, there are a lot of job opportunities plus it is very socially active. Only problem people face is with french and PR. But the govt pays people to learn french with part time and full time options. Came here more than 2 years back and it was one of my best decisions ever.

If you get into McGill or Concordia, top-notch colleges in Canada, it's a good idea to choose Quebec as your destination. These universities provide excellent opportunities for growth. However, if you're thinking about smaller colleges, it's something to weigh carefully. Learing French is always a viable option if you are in Canada. It will help in getting good opportunities.

Please ask to harleen that in my course transportation logistics course i have 17 hours per week classes. I have no worries about class timing of my college.

Atleast 3 hours a day u can take two days classes or 3 depends on ur flexibility but it takes alot of months for part time course i applied in august and got classes in January

To be honest it's the worst place.
No PR options, French language barrier. Jobs are super limited and not secure.
Regretting my decision for coming to Montreal Concordia university.
I came in 2023 Sep, doing masters.
Rent is cheap although.
Studies itni sakth hai jese wapis college mai chalay gaye hain.
Also, now the fees have double for 2024 intakes. So big No for all the new comers.

In short, learn French to get job in Tim Horton in Quebec then move out to other province if you can't get B 2 level.. It's really surprising me that Indian students pay 25-30 lakh to do survival job in Canada.. Only 5-10% get good job or pretend to do good job.... As even most influencer are struggling for better future after 4-5 years in Canada....
It's true but if you think from the other side then working hard and learning B2 level French will put you aside from others. It is therefore the road less travelled and many do not pursue it. I am living in Montreal for more than 5 years now. I learnt French and got C1 level and trust me I am ripping all my hard work and efforts that I put back in the past.

French folks are way more invested in making sure immigrants integrate with the wider society. Which is why Quebec hopefully won’t end up with large ghettos like Brampton Surrey or Milwoods

If someone directly getting job in montreal in some software company(Work permit), is it mandatory for him/her to know french or not? Do we get extra points for work permit?
What will be process in that case?
If you already have an offer from a company then you do not need to learn French. But learning B2 level French will give you good points in applying for PR from Quebec.Regarding your work permit, it will add points for your work experience.
@@thefrenchdesi How many points one gets for getting a work permit and how many total points are required for PR? It might be that someone don't need to learn French for PR. Also, is it mandatory to take the IELTS exam for PR in Montreal even after getting work permit in a software company?
For all pr programs in Quebec its necessary to have B2 in french, to be elegible
i am fully Trilingual ( English, french, Hindi) , C2 level certified, So if there is a need to learn French, let me know I can help you. I have helped a lot of friends for interviews.

WHERE IS THE FRENCH INSTITUTE?
It's a program by government of Quebec. You need to start living in Quebec in order to enroll for this program. If you want more details you can search MIFI. They are the ones who is in charge of admission process.
