LOW LIGHT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STABILITY is all I want from an ACTION camera haha. Not sure Macro will help whilst riding in the dark woods. Looking like DJI for me then. I have a previous DJI, then sent it back hoping the hero 12 would have a better low light. Nope. The bought 360pro, but too heavy and way to unreliable. So hanging in there for the Hero 13. I've had loads of go pros and love them but as I say, lowlight is crap.

this will be the final sign that there is no hope for gopro, which is technologically terribly outdated. DJI action 5 together with Ace pro will take more customers and this may mean that hero 14 will no longer be available, because the company already has big problems.

I almost bought a 360 Ace Pro several weeks ago, but put the money aside and decided to wait for the hero 13. I have an 11 black and want something that records nice night motorcycle rides around town. If this leak is accurate and there is STILL no good night time recording … I will be using my saved money and buy a 360 Ace Pro. I’m not waiting another year until hero 14! So dumb!

If those specifications and features are confirmed, I wouldn't say it's revolutionary, far from that, but I think it is a bigger leap compared to the previous ones. If so, this time will be enough for me to go for it.
I have used GoPro since 2012 with the Hero 2, 3, 4, 8, and 10. I ordered the 12 but returned it. If they have sorted the overheating issue and strange self-shutdowns, good for them. I have had very, very bad customer service with them. They even forgot to pack a camera into a box that they mailed to me and told me it was in it, even though the GoPro's box would have never fit into it. 😂 I switched to DJI, and it has been the best choice ever. My problems solved. I got more features and better quality.
I think the " filled holes " are actually magnets so it will connect similar to the DJI Action 4 - Just got the 12 so the 13 will have to be ultra special for me to upgrade so quickly .....
I have Gopro Max and Gopro 12, but mostly just use the Max. Even with a Gopro 13, I can't see myself using it over the Max as I mostly use the reframing capabilities of the Max. Really waiting for the Max 2.

I use my action cameras in watersports. The new featurers are nice, but I don't see anything about improved video quality at 4k and 8k. And no mention on how software has been improved. For me, the AcePro is still king.
If these leaks confirmed no more Go Pro. I wait from Hero 10 to be low light performance improved. It starts time for DJI and forget about Go Pro. They don’t listen their customers.
In my opinion of the camera has the same sensor then it shoots the same so its not worth going from 12 to 13 as youd have to change all batteries as well and charging docks, no dealbraker features .
GoPro has put themselves in a horrible position. Releasing a new version once a year with nothing legit that's new and exciting is such a bad look. I'm a GoPro nerd and over it now.

The only thing I do not like about the Ace pro, and many other action cameras, is the fact that they don't use straight MP4 format, like GoPro. Plus I didn't think the Ace Pro's image quality was all that good.

No, the GoPro Hero 13 Black does not have built-in GPS. This feature was removed from the previous model, the Hero 12 Black, and has not been reintroduced in the Hero 13.

No use captureing 6K 8K from that shitty sensor and plasticy lens. 240FPS had also crappy image, I imagine 320... We want significantly better low light and less noise, better dynamic range. Enough of cosmetic upgrades. Anamorph aftermarket lens existed already and all the other nonsenses. HDRI video is crap - looks like a bug.

Hope they improve the batteries so they hold a charge when not used. Looks like the new batteries will not work in older cameras. And who needs 13X slow motion -- maybe a sloth. The current slow motion settings are sufficient for most users..
First nice video, if it has the same senor as the 12 RIP GoPro but I read The GoPro Hero 13 Black is expected to have a 1/1.4-inch LYT800 sensor from Sony. If this is true then DJI and ACE Pro have bigger camera sensors which would make this camera dead in the water to me. Also GoPro has the worst app ever.
Where did you hear this from? Perhaps a rumor? I doubt the 13 will have a bigger sensor, but we won't know officially for another week or so, or till the 16th, when its supposed to be released.
@@Rush-Mediait matters when you go in doors and unless GoPro has a Ai chip it will be left behind and be finished. DJI and Insta Ace pro have really good low light and that’s why it matters.
@@biggooseadventures near recordings are not possible with a small camera and 1inch sensor like actioncams are. Did you ever record a near target with the ace pro? its blur! while on the gopro its sharp.

I did see it, but I suspect it might be because it's the creator edition and has the volta which adds 3-4hours battery.
