    I don't know why this video received so many dislikes from impatient people. This is free advice and you should be grateful for this helpful gentleman sacrificing his time sharing his knowledge.
    I personally found it very helpful. Thanks for your video!

    This guy is the perfect teacher, he goes at a steady pace so everyone will understand, some processes slower than others, and I'm grateful he's doing it slow now I have a full understanding. Impatients is your hell, for not having a heart so everyone can have an opportunity, patience is a virtue TRUST ME.

    Had to restring my mom's Remington trimmer. Your video was perfect - your instructions were clear enough that I could figure it out even with the minor difference. AND whoever strung hers last had done it WRONG, which no one knew so it went the whole season as a gimpy trimmer. Works great now, thanks.

    Thanks a bunch for the demo. I just purchased a Fs 90 and it's the first time I have dealt with the autocut. I normally purchase the cheapo trimmers but I just moved into a new home and wanted something that would last. Very excited about my new purchase!!

    your suppose to hook each end of the string in the notches on the spool. then u lock the spool with the notches right next to it.your making a way harder then you have to. great video.

      Thank you, thank you, thank you! I just bought a worx nitro string trimmer because I want to be able to put a brush cutter blade on it. Hate using gas ones and trying to get them started. While I was trying to figure out how to get the trimmer string off of the shaft I ended up winding the string to the Head. There are no instructions anywhere on how to fix that issue. I searched for days on Google and TH-cam for a video but all I could find was how to change the string head on their original model. Your string trimmer was pretty similar and I knew that tab area you were using must have a purpose on my trimmer but didn't know what it was until your video. I'm trying to find a blade kit to work so I can attach a non-worx blade and while I was waiting I couldn't even use the trimmer till I could figure out how to get the string out. So thank you again very much appreciated!

    My Craftsman trimmer doesn't have a knob on the bottom to advance the trimmer line and unfortunately, the line has to be advanced by-hand. If I had known this before purchasing the trimmer, I would not have purchased this trimmer. Very good video!

    You should be able to go to the owner's manual of your trimmers and find the recommended line size there. On my Stihl FS80 trimmer I went to the owner's manual section on replacing the Nylon line and it recommended 0.095" (2.4mm) line for my trimmer.

  • @Iscaper
    @Iscaper  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    From what I understand of auto feed string trimmers you don't have to bump them to advance the line, the trimmer does it automatically with centrifugal force. I've never had an auto feed trimmer so I don't know how well this feature works. Maybe after you use yours you could report back and let us know how well the auto feed feature works.

    3.3 mm coverts to .130" which is thicker than the standard size line you get from Stihl. Does it still feed out of the trimmer head ok?

    I have a brush cutter, the speed increases very high (this is the speed I want) when the fuel is about of empty (5mins before the fuel gets empty). So I'm wondering what makes the motor run at high speed when the fuel is about to empty. The choke is down (fully open when operation)

      There is a High adjustment screw on the carburetor. You twist it clockwise to increase the RPMs of the motor. Careful on this adjustment, if you have the RPMs too high you could burn up the motor.
