Curtis Mayfield Was a Genius What a Hell of a soundtrack, Cold Blooded, he nailed this album, The Late Great Curtis Mayfield, Super Fly soundtrack.
Curtis (The Story Teller) was one of our greatest. This is back when all the entertainers had their own style. Not like today where everybody tries to sound alike. Damn I miss those days.
Who in their right mind gives this a thumbs down? It's beautiful. It's brilliant
This score is a Masterpiece. In my opinion 1 of the greatest ever and the film a classic. Ron O'Neal played the role to the hilt
Over 40 years old, and is one of the best Stepper's sounds in Chicago!!!
The production on this track is still timeless and amazing🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I love listening to my 70s music this is real music at its best!!!
One of the best soundtracks ever to this day make want to watch Superfly right now who with me?
This piece right here is timeless you can play it in the year of 10,000 it'll never get old.
MAXI COAT WITH LARGE WING COLLARS, TURTLE NECK SWEATER, SLACKS & A
FRESH PAIR OF FLAGG BROTHERS.......NOW WHERES 125TH STREET? (r.i.p Curtis & Ron O'Neal)
😀
I hadn't thought about Flagg brothers shoes in years . They were the bomb back in the day . Thanks for the memory.
I wore the Cape coat and hat ensemble to the Oakland California clubs during late 1974.
You forgot the Pork Chop sideburns and flawless perm🤣🤣🤣🤣👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

Simple et sophistiquè belle mèlodie 2022. 50 ans le morceau de musique, absolu chef d' oeuvre Curtis Mayfield 2022.
Love this song. Love Curtis Mayfield. He had a gazillion hits with The Impressions, and a gazillion more on his own. Phenomenal singer and musician. None can compare. Rest in peace. Heaven will be sounding pretty good up there.
I love Curtis. It's always a miracle to me that his delicate, beautiful, spidery voice soars with such presence over so many instruments. Brilliant guy.
One of the best tracks on a truly great album. Those strings are so luscious. The bass is on point! And...that guitar ...is...fierce! This recording..one of the best ever...is Curtis Mayfield's masterpiece. And this from the man who wrote PEOPLE GET READY, WE'RE A WINNER & GYPSY WOMAN....played guitar on Isaac Hayes' version of WALK ON BY....among other accomplishments.
I always wondered who did that guitar on walk on by thats some bad ass guitar playin.
Harry Harding Yeah...it is.
I keep asking everyone who the backing musicians were?
Maureen Elliston The backing musicians on SUPERFLY? I'm gonna find out.
good

A pure classic sound by Curtis Mayfield. Loved the 70's and this movie. Never forget going to the Fox Theatre in Philly to see it.
man this shit starts out so smooth. I could listen to that intro all day. just takes me back to the 90s. even tho it's before that it was released but it's when I first heard it. man to be young again with the knowledge I have.just miss when people put real emotions into their music. Kenny Williams. back than they was going thru something and had to go in the booth and tell it.
Very good soul and Jazz music.
Excellent
