I love how music brings people together and a truly great song like this can be appreciated by different ages, generations, races, ethnicities, religions, etc. I'm a white female in my late 30s from San Francisco and this is one of my favorite songs to listen to on a summer night.
Blew my mind (said WTF outloud) just a sec ago when I saw this said 1970 something I've been hearing a dope modern lofi song on mixes that obvi samples this but I had no idea the source song was so lofi from day one. This could literally be slid into plenty of lofi mixes and only the extended solos would stand out

What a time it was. What a memory it is. What a story we made. What happened to that relaxing time of life? Through all the hard times we had music that pulled us through. The Electrifying Mojo and The Wizard, 107.5fm late nights and weekend nights. It's all seems like yesterday. So when you feel like your nearing the end of your rope, don't slide off, tie a knot, keep hanging, keep remembering ain't nobody bad like you!

While visiting friends in NYC, I remember driving across the Brooklyn Bridge on a late, late Sunday afternoon - with the sun starting to set - and listening to this fabulous song while taking in the Manhattan skyline. I can't think of anything that could be more memorable than that. That bass line still drives me over the edge. So classy!
Spent two years working in Ghana with Ausdrill - travelled all over Ghana - Takoradi / Tarkwa / Bogosu / Obausi / Komasi / Bibiyani - listening to acid jazz racks - got a new Toyota pickup and covered 96,000 kms in one year - loved the country and the people - very dignified friendly people despite the adversity they face in their daily lives.
Everyone who reads this, we don't know each other and probably never will but I wish you all the best in life and all the luck in the world 💕

This is what happens when you use only instruments to tell a great story. Masterpiece.
It’s amazing what you can do when you just play & keep your mouth shut!
@@morrisparrish76 what's your problem?
@@cancoskuncan I happen to love vocal groups who make rare instrumental songs! They keep their mouths shut! Next question!

This song is a flawless piece of art. It emanates hot summer nights.
Especially for me in the outback of northern Brazil. I play it every night and look at the stars as the temperature drups from 42c to 35

So classy!
And on the belt parkway
George Benson was another good one to cross burrows too also!
THAT'S DOPE
Scott , that comment was lyrical ...
Damn, I could actually imagine this quite vividly
One of the greates pieces ever written
It’s sounds like this that give healing to the soul. I love Kool and Gang!! 😊
Listening to this now on a cool evening here in Accra Ghana. What a feeling.
Shit I'll bet...it even sounds heavy on rainy English summer (ha!) afternoon...
I got chills, that's amazing
Wish I was there too drinking a cold one listening to this shit
Give a shout out to the fam for me. 🤗🤗🤗
Gorgeous........a minute of calm in a world of madness. Keep safe people
Well said Louise 👏
Can we get a moment of silence to everyone that hasn’t discovered this masterpiece!!!!
