Yes, but she was also able to give her full confession to Alpha Okabe because of the text pausing her at a different time in that world line. Such a beautiful love story.
He was also more broken in her timeline as the guy didn’t even go to university and stopped being an otaku. He just shut off completely with mayuri death
It really is but it lacks some suspence and excitement elements the og had. Though the ending is great. Zero is like many other anime. OG is in its own league.

@@walterhartwellwhite8363 the first dmail about kurisu death moved them from beta to alpha world line, thats because the dmail got saved into sern database and resulting in them knowing about okabe and co creating time machine so by pressing the button okabe erasing that one dmail, resulting in sern did not complete their time machine which is an important point of alpha world line, without sern completing time machine it send them into beta world line instead. kurisu confessing happened in sg 0, that makes okabe hesitated and not chose to press the button, and that was what kurisu want to prevent

Literally, unexpectedly the first anime that legit made me cry my eyes out, I couldn't even watch the episode 9 of 0 cuz of my eyes that hurt so much...
The writer who wrote this amazing story line.. pretty sure he was a god who could travel through time.. xD without a doubt the best anime I've ever seen.. :')

That scene daru mentioned that the alpha line where Okabe came back as dream, that time that scene where Okabe didn't press the enter button but to listen to Kurisu which is suddenly Mayuri got heart attack. Thar is start of being sad of okabe . 🥺 Even beta line where kurisu is gone and mayuri is alive, and alpha line where kurisu is alice but mayuri is gone. In which beta or alpha he is still sad though...
Episode 8 of zero is still the heaviest episode of the entire saga for me. Just the most gutwrenching part of both shows combined in my opinion. Beats even mayuri getting creamed over and over again

I know this has probably been commented before, but I have no clue why Kurisu would stop to check her mail and just enter regardless of anything, in my opinion it’s a little unnatural. Maybe she has a specific sound/vibration for mails from Okabe?
don't forget, the one from 0 is Okabe going back to his timelime (they showed that) which is Beta the other Okabe from from original S;G went to A to B in order to reach S;G

Okabe (alpha or beta?) From the original S;G series moved from the alpha (Mayuri death) line to beta (Kurisu death) and then to Steins; Gate (all is alive)? So Okabe from the original S;G which timeline was it from? Unless I mixed up something.

The Russian team succeeded in copying all Amadeus files from Brain Institute. That's the main difference between the two worldlines. The problem is that, in the anime, they put this weird story about Kurisu sending a message in order not to enter too quickly. But it does not make sense.
Charajeux the message is about kyouma's feelings for kurisu. In the earlier part of the Steins Gate series both the original and 0 shows how okabe is obsessed to kurisu. In short, it signifies that okabe should forget everything about her that will make him suffer in the other world line. Sorry for my bad english...
Yeah the chronological order is a bit confusing but steins gate is the original ending whereas steins gate 0 is a different world line but think of ep 24 -25 (steins;gate not steins;gate 0) as the last episodes of both world lines alpha and beta so in steins;gate ep 25 kirisu reunites with okabe after travelling to the past in ep 24 to alter his memory so that's the actual ending. However the ending in steins;gate 0 where he save suzuha and mayuri is not. To sum it up steins;gate 0 is the beta world line where kirisu dies but steins;gate is the alpha world line where she survives as well as mayuri because he got past the 1% divergence barrier.
SrAozoli Correct. The movie is not canon to the story of the original Visual Novel, but it happens at the end of the timeline. Still a great movie though! I am not actually sure if Season 1 Episode 24 (OVA) is considered canon either....

Ep22 was beta, Ep8 0 alpha. Even tho they're pretty the same, divergence meter will never be.
There are minor differences between those two worldlines. Regarding the hacking of Amadeus for example.
