Thanks to this video, I realised that the reason why they showed that, "Sayonara" before she sent the message, was because on episode 22 of the original, she mouthed a "Sayonara" at him before disappearing.
Just look at that in season 1 when the lab finally found the message record in SERN's server, Okabe had a headache. Thats where reading steiner probably activated but minorly.

I was surprised Kirisu on that timeline was not greatly affected by an Okabe also depressed where mayuri's alive and she's dead. Multiverse infinite possibilities exists, and the writers gave justice by showing the happy possibilities in: SG Season 1 ep 23 SGO ep 23 also in the credits of SGO ep 23.
That world line is literally showed in this episode. That's why they had to send that message to that specific point in the past to delay her from entering the room for a moment so Okabe won't hesitate and actually change the world line.
I'm at this episode in the Stein Gate 0, can somebody explain to me how sending the "don't come in" message to Kurisu at this moment caused Okabe to return to the Beta World line?
By the time this scene happens, if I remember correctly Mayuri has been dead for roughly 6 months now. In this timeline Okabe failed to save her which resulted In him leaving. He stays for a little while in the Alpha World Line b4 Kurisu manages to convince him to leave. What makes the show confusing at times is that we always see one side of the Story. So when ever he jump lines, there's always apart of the story we'll always miss out on. What we see here is exactly the other side of the story we missed out on. In the "other story" Kurisu stopped Okabe from leaving and he destroys the TM. (Kurisu rebuilt it eventually) So by sending a Dmail that says, "Don't Come in" That throws her off just long enough so by the time she enters the room Okabe already pressed enter. Also you got to remember by deleting what SERN had, that was enough to jump From Alpha to Beta lines. Hopefully that made sense, this show can be a little confusing to watch if you are not carefully paying attention or asking questions.
Because if they don’t send the “don’t come in” message Kurisu would be able to make it just in time before Okabe click the enter key and confess her feeling, Okabe will hesitate and unable to return to beta world line, Mayuri will died of heart attack, Okabe will fall into self-blame and destroyed the microwave time machine. And the world will continue to go on like that
