    Thank you so much for watching. This video is an experiment in a different type of content. Please let me know what you think. Should I do more videos like this?

      I'm feeling low about my situation in this particular moment and you made a grown man cry with the first 3 minutes. Totally different vibe from the course and your other videos. It's a tad cathartic after I got it out, I'm suffering the pains from being cheated on and left though. Unsure how that will affect others. The tone of the rest of the video is calming.

      Thanks for sharing. I'm glad this was cathartic for you. You have to let those feelings out from time to time.

      I liked the video as something different, Clay and certainly felt the emotion in it, as I mentioned in an earlier comment. However, I'd guess it works best as an occasional change of pace whereas your more usual up-beat and assertive style is a great one to use as a 'default' setting as that positivity gets folk's attention if they've never seen you before. That's certainly what got my attention initially and what I've always subsequently liked about your presentation style. Hope that helps. Only my opinion from a sample size of one, of course! 🙂

      What happens if they are in another relationship, and I struggle with being her friend?

      @@csearcy8271 My situation, my wayward wife moved out on D-Day immediately and is now on a rebound with a childhood friend. Sidedoor technique from Clay, I don't use the word "friend" but he has videos about how the friendzone isn't something to fear. It drops pressure off them so they can hang out with you guilt-free, yet you can keep focusing on emotional connection between the two of you. That's the key, the emotional connection. Keep nurturing and building it and they will advance through the 5 stages.

    10 weeks since I broke up with my ex. Clay, I’ve watched all your videos, you have kept me together. I just wanted to say, this new style of video is very touching and emotional and I think it gets your wonderful points across in a very meaningful way. Thank you for all your hard work, your advice is starting to make a difference in the journey I am going through with my ex. Keep up the amazing work, you are helping a lot of people with a very beautiful approach, that differs from any other coach on the internet. Thank you!

    This video is amazing. I wish he thought that I was with it. I blew it. After 6 months of separation, we started talking and then met up. He asked me at the end of the conversation what I wanted. I told him let’s take it one day at a time and see how it goes. Go with the flow. He then has pulled back sharply and all but disappeared. It’s been 5 days of silence. 😢 Maybe it’s time to just give up. I’m not going to chase him.

    • @ClayAndrews
      @ClayAndrews  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      What did he say when you suggested taking it one day at a time? Did you do anything when he pulled back?

    Hey Clay, I've been invested in your channel for about a month now. A lot of the things you say are spot on, and I'm very thankful for the tips.
    We broke up exactly a month ago after a 6 years living together relationship. Partial no contact, but we haven't spoken in 10 days ( I called her before) We also adopted a dog together, which we agreed that I can leave it with her when I travel. Do you think that can be a good sign to reconcile? Much appreciated!!

    • @ClayAndrews
      @ClayAndrews  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for subscribing! The dog together means that she sees you in a friendly enough sort of way. You might be able to take that connection and build it into something more. Just remember to focus on the emotional connection.

    While I don’t agree with everything , you are a great help.
    This experimental video is definitely different. Great content , but the style and delivery …..It’s not for me.

    Would this be applicable to someone I dated for just 6 weeks? It was a magical 6 weeks and there was no drama at all. And then all of a sudden... done. She would never tell me the reason why she ended things. The thing is, she's my foreign language instructor and I see her twice a week. It was awkward having class at first but I wanted to show her I could be mature about it (even though I can't stop thinking about her. Even though she's in a new relationship, still agreed to go out to dinner with my last week! I was so grateful to the stars for that! But the semester is up and not sure if I should pay for another one or not. On one hand, I want to let her go to give her the chance to really miss me. On the other hand, I want to keep seeing her to show her who I am, and how I'm changing for the better. So I don't know what to do.

    And what to do if we don't spend any time together anymore? He is dating a woman he was dating before me... The take walks, spend time, habe sex and she posted a pic of them kissing....
    He is very distant. Only thing that he does- he watches my stories sometimes.
    How can I get him back with all this?

    So me and my ex have been split up for 9 months. Hes in a rebound which is in a really unhealthy position because he told me whats going on. We're still really close and there is still chemistry between us ive tried to move on and have had a bunch of rebounds in just the last few months. I stopped dating because i realised i was just trying to fill a void and we both admitted to esch other that we're still hurting. His has been living with his mum and she has stage 4 cancer and she is now really ill. We own a house together and he is looking at having to move back in with me because he has no where to go and i wouldn't let him just buy me out. Could being back under the same roof help bring us back together and how do i go about doing that

      That’s crazy, my ex broke up with me, his mum has cancer and we also own a house together. From the videos, I think building an emotional connection, and forgiveness needs to happen first. Hope that it works out for you guys!!
