Ange, I've been reading just a few comments and I completely agree with all of them. I'm a Pilates instructor (not in practice), and the way of explaining the exercises is as clearer as it should be, and that's not easy 😉 For me, you are the best instructor I've found. Thank you for the videos
I've recently had worsening symptoms of SI joint pain and this is hands down the only routine that helps me maintain some sort of stability in my hips and gets rid of pain. Thank you, Ange! I hope you're doing well and we'll get to see some more routines from you. All the best!💗
Ange you, by far, have the best Pilates channel I've encountered! In all the Pilates classes I've ever taken, it drives me crazy when instructors not only don't place a good emphasis on form, but also don't have great form themselves. I've only been teaching at my university gym for a little over three years. But, I hope that as my teaching experience grows and I expand my education, I can one day be as wonderful of an instructor as you are!
+Alyssa Long Thank you so much Alyssa! With Pilates you will be learning all the time which makes it so exciting. Enjoy your Pilates journey and let your love for Pilates shine through your teaching :)
This is my fourth and last workout of yours today! My hips feel so good and flexible. I have enjoyed my morning of pilates with you. So happy that I found your channel. Will see you back tomorow! 😊
This was amazing lower body work. The 'Drop knees lift feet extend the leg' move at 25:50 was incredible. This workout targeted my hips and glutes without too much work in my quad (my quads r plenty-developed bc I bike, so I prefer this focus). Thank u!!
love these workouts! I used to do pilates with a morning workout show on television, never was able to reconnect until now - best workouts ever. Thank you
I’ve been following your workouts for more than 1 year, and I have to say I love all of the practice. I’m really looking forward to your comeback, I hope you are doing well, thank you a lot ❤❤.
Thank you Zoe for your support. Sorry I’ve even a bit MIA but I’ve had some ongoing injuries, a grandchild and now relocated to Thailand. Hoping to come back soon ❤️
I’m experienced with exercise but wow this one made me sore and I said ow quite a few times throughout your program! Thanks Ange I’ve been doing your workouts for years and you do AWESOME WORK!!
Not sure if it was just my machine, but the volume went out and fluctuated a few times during the course of this video. Love your videos Ange. You are an amazing instructor.
Thank you Ange, I am a Pilates instructor, and I have been looking for an pilates instructor that uses the same breathing techniques like me, amazing workout, I enjoy your videos
Fantastic teacher: love the fact you continuously remind us to check in with our posture/positioning. Perfect timing as well, usually just as I am bout to relax and dip my ribs to the mat :) Thanks
Ange, your instructions are clear, and precise! I appreciate your constant reminders throughout the workout and your how you explain what happens when the form is not kept. Thank you! Do you have a workout for women who have Diastasis recti?
lucesale unfortunately I do not. The most important thing for you to do is strengthen your pelvic floor muscles and your lower abdominal abdominals. Lifting your upper body (chest lifts) are a big no no! Hope this helps 😊😊
Hi I love your videos, you’re a fantastic instructor. When doing this one I have so much pain in my knees to the point I had to give up!! Especially the straight leg circles and lifts. I don’t usually suffer knee pain during other exercises, am I doing something wrong?
Annette Greenshields I am sorry to hear this. You should not be feeling any pains through your knees. Do you suffer at all from tightness in your lower back or hips ? This could be causing issues with your knees. When you do the hip flexor stretch do you feel your knees?
Thank you for your reply! I run on a regular basis and I don’t suffer knee pain doing this. I think the problem may be tightness in my hips, hamstrings etc. I’m very inflexible and have started to do yoga every day. Is there anything you can recommend?
Annette Greenshields yes it’s all related and running may be contributing to the tightness. Make sure you stretch lots before and after your run. You may want to seek professional help of the pain continues. Good luck!
Hi there, your back should not hurt unless you have a back injury. This could mean that you are not engaging your core correctly. Perhaps take a moment just to listen to my cues re engaging your core and taking the less challenging option until you stop feeling your back. I hope this helps.
Sooo good!!! released my upper back~ do you have any neck release sequences? Such a tight neck...or do you recommend a combination of abb and back sequences?
I lost a lot weight recently (ya!!) But my legs lost their muscles, I've been working really hard to get them in shape again...any suggestion how often to do this video?.Thanks!!Love your videos!!!!
Hi Angie, Just came across your video today and was amazed just watching you. You are so fit and fabulous! I am definitely going to try doing this and build up to 3 x week. What is your advice on diet? Are you vegetarian? Please advise. Thanks in advance!
Hi Astrsygirll2010 thank you so much! I am a firm believer in everything in moderation! Eat as close to the natural source as possible, good clean food. No processed or pre-packaged food. I am a pescatarian :):)
Thank you, Ange. So happy to have discovered you. Just one thing .. the music made it hard for me to hear some parts, and the little barking sounds toward the beginning drove my dogs berserk--they (my crazy dogs) were NOT helpful to my concentration!!!. One vote here for no background music.
+Bonny Hart Hi Bonny, thank you for your comment. Yes, I no longer use music but unfortunately I cannot control the outside noise depending on where I am filming and with this particular video we were unable to edit the bark out.
I love this workout, but the windshield wipers kill me every time! I can't seem to keep my shoulder blades on the ground. Don't even mention extending the legs! How can I improve this exercise? Should I start with a much smaller range of motion? Thank you so much! Gabrielle
soulonskates yes start with a smaller range, even with your toes on the floor knees bent & progress from there. Practice makes perfect! Keep up the good work 💪🏽💪🏽
fantastic, thank you from Spain... the music is too loud, it drowns your voice, which means you have to look at the screen. really good work, thankx penny
Greetings from Ireland - I always tend to feel more in the opposite (resting) thigh/glut when doing sideline exercises like these. What am I doing wrong?
+Laura Coyne Hi Laura. So happy to have reached you in Ireland. Don't worry you are not doing the exercises wrong. In certain exercises the non working leg is the stabilizing one and that sometimes works harder than the one that is actually working!! Regards Ange
Hi Gruesheka, so glad to have reached all the way in Italy! Thank you for your kind words. You can change your body shape just by doing pilates but remember it takes time. A very important aspect is also your diet, exercise alone wont do it.
I am relatively new at this and find the music is too loud to hear your instructions clearly. I do like the choice of music, it seems, however, it should be in the background and your voice/instructions in the foreground. Otherwise, I really enjoyed this workout!
I normally enjoy sideline exercises but for some reason the ones in this workout are a real struggle for me. You keep mentioning the inner thigh but I can't feel any engagement in my inner thigh whatsoever; instead I feel an intense cramp from the top of my glute all through my lower back on whichever side it is that I'm doing, which then bothers my sciatic nerve. I find it really hard to engage my glutes during these exercises without feeling this cramp, am I doing something wrong?
Hi Adele, I am not sure why you are getting an intense cramp. Are experiencing this cramp on both sides and in the same place? Are you feeling this in both the exercises where the legs are long and when they are both bent? (The latter side lying exercise) Perhaps try bending your bottom leg for more support when both legs are straight and maybe you need to more hip and glute strengthening exercises. I hope this helps. xo
it could be great workou but this music is too loud and I cannot hear instructions. could you tell me when you stop using music so I can go to this workout?
+salanee Hi Salanee, thank you for your comment. I now no longer have music as result of this problem. Unfortunately I am unable to edit the music out on this particular workout but please take a look out the others as there are plenty without music. Thanks Ange
Hi Kaay, thanks for feedback :) this is one of the older videos so we have now have the back ground music lower and our production quality is much better
Prezi's Helma Schellen it's the small space between your lower spine and the mat, which is your spine following its natural curvature. I hope that makes sense? 😊😊
Ange, I've been reading just a few comments and I completely agree with all of them. I'm a Pilates instructor (not in practice), and the way of explaining the exercises is as clearer as it should be, and that's not easy 😉

That’s great to hear! I am so glad you got some relief! ❤️
Simply the best pilates workouts. Loving every 30min session: perfect timing, perfect combination.

wow! love your workouts, they make me feel wonder! Blessings from Culiacán, México
Thank you Luz de Luna, so happy to have reached you in Mexico!
thanks for these exercises, but in some exercises my back hurts, I would like to know if it is normal, hello from Italy.

@@AngesPilates thanks!
I love your videos , thank you . I wonder how many times a week I should repeat this exercise?
Nur id I would suggest doing Pilates at least 3 times a week to notice any significant changes. Keep up the good work! 😊😊
Thank you so much...from Serbia!
Thank you Curguz, I have just visited your beautiful country and stayed in Belgrade!
Sooo good!!! released my upper back~ do you have any neck release sequences?
Such a tight neck...or do you recommend a combination of abb and back sequences?
Thanks Samantha. Tight necks are usually related to upper back and shoulder issues so bear this in mind when you are exercising. xo
Thank you for a great workout. My bum is going to hurt in the morning x
Amy Cowles 😂😂Good job!
I lost a lot weight recently (ya!!) But my legs lost their muscles, I've been working really hard to get them in shape again...any suggestion how often to do this video?.Thanks!!Love your videos!!!!

Can't hear the instructions. Music too loud. Nice music though...
Laura Bernay thank you for your feedback. I am aware of this and have made adjustments for my other workouts.
Music is a bit too loud and distracting at the beginning. I really prefer hearing your valuable instructions instead. Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback Rebecca. I have had this brought to my attention before and have adjusted the music level for my other workouts! Thanks!
music too loud. shud just skipthe backgrd music.
Hi Kaay, thanks for feedback :) this is one of the older videos so we have now have the back ground music lower and our production quality is much better
What gap? LOL
Prezi's Helma Schellen it's the small space between your lower spine and the mat, which is your spine following its natural curvature. I hope that makes sense? 😊😊
Yes, i understood. I meant....in stead of a gap there's fat hahah
:) :)
are you wearing sandals???
Hi Grushenka, no they are not sandals but pilates shoes. Its just a personal preference, you can wear socks or just go barefoot.
