Excellent review Daniel. It does what it says on the tin. This fragrance definitely takes me on a journey. Starts out gassy as you descend through Ganymedes ionosphere then about half hour in it transitions slightly to become more mineralistic as you touchdown on the moons surface. In real world terms the best way I can describe it, is that it smells like the gas that comes off a newly opened bottle of tonic water, cola and is also similar to the smell of refrigerant gas (CO2). With 2 sprays I’ve had people comment they can smell from 20ft away (not kidding); and very positive reactions. It is a modern masterpiece! 👍
Your description of the gassiness is perfect and I also like the image of the moon up close, very different from the cliché "smells like a spacecraft" thing. Thanks for that!

Yes, all those images blend into each other but I still get them isolated: one moment I’m reminded by something, the other I’m getting something else; I guess it’s my brain trying to make sense of it. I’m not saying there are no natural smells but the distracting nature of this has me focused on its weird artificial smell. That just my take 🙃
10th time watching this to decide whether I’d buy it
@@yvesshrek you need to sample it. This is very much a love or hate type fragrance. As soon as you take your first sniff you’ll know. So you have a chance to try it?
@@SeldomlyOften , turns out that I like it . I smell like boeing 737
@@yvesshrek haha, amazing! In the air especially it’s really good 👍
I love Ganymede very much. To me it smells nostalgic. Reminds me of something I smelled as child. My nose interprets Ganymede as dried florals, I don't get synthetic weirdness :)
@@Rudiinko wow, I’m always blown away by how different people interpret scents. Super cool 😍
Well, yes. Air conditioning, brand new car seats and some sort of "computer smell". So in a way a space station filled with processed air, plastic and synthetic leather is not such a far fetched association. Funny, that on the first try it smelled to me like BR540 mixed with Oud Minerale. No idea why, I guess there is this sort of airy saffron sweetness I get from it. Odd thing.
I really enjoyed watching reviews you posted - stay critical please, it is hard to find creators that are not unnaturally excited about every single fragrance they present.
@@jurysdykcja thanks for the comment! I’m an analytical consumer, I don’t need to be overly excited, I’m not selling anything, I’m buying 😉
I really love this!By the way have you smelled Tilia?
@@Eirini80 not yet, I really have to get some more samples from the house 🙂
I receive a lot of compliments with this one. Gotta be easy on the sprays because it’s a strong performer 2 sprays max.
@@JasonHethcox-yy4up never got any compliment but I agree, it’s pretty potent. Also it’s a type of smell that really sticks around, especially on clothes.
One synthetic fragrance that really works for me is Fantomas from Nasomatto. I think that one is truly a masterpiece with its strange combination of sweet fruity notes paired with smoky and plastic-y accords. I would be curious what you think about that one.
@@ayywolf I went through a sample. I like it a lot but it was definitely a strange one. Fantomas is a specific old school comic book villain in Italy with a gimmick that he could not be catched. Gualtieri’s take on this was supposed to be that the notes ‘evade’ you in a similar way. I need more tries but it’s pretty cool 😎
Quentin Bisch is a fragrance genius!...
@@ChristianAndrew1.4 I think his stuff is pretty interesting. I do appreciate old school quality but I also want to embrace new and avant-garde
Never tried the extrait but the edp is 100%🔥🔥🔥
@@ioanniskalafatis never tried the Extrait either, I would be interested to compare the two though.
the air conditioned airplane smell that you explained it made me feel nauseous just hearing it😅
@@niklaus009 yes, that and the smell of the synthetic velvet seats on buses. Weird thing is that this perfume sort of smells like that but doesn’t get me nauseous.
hey, where is your shirt from?
:D
Hey 👋
Can’t remember but it was something cheap like Zara 😂
I loved this stuff the first one or two wearings. Somehow later it just smelled too much like plasticene.
@@wagstaff6135 I can understand this, it’s has a super strong wow effect but if you are not in love with it, it’s easy to get tired of it.
to me ganymede smells like a hospital room or a printer that just printed something, it would fit a surgeon well.
@@kruthik8642 love the analogy of the printer smell! Yes, this is definitely one of those clinical smells that would suit a doctor 🧑⚕️
Bois imperial 🤔
@@flyingthundergod3999 didn’t try it, couldn’t tell you about it right now 😶
It smells like a Little Tree Black Ice Air Freshener and a bucket of fried chicken locked inside a brand new car on a hot day..
@@PhenomenalFumes 😂
Where does the fried chicken come into play? With the curry and cumin notes?
@@SeldomlyOften 😂 Yeah! Also the Suede leather with the saffron and immortelle gives the fragrance a protein note covered in aromatic herbs and spices. So I get luxury new car smell, the little tree air fresheners that dangles from the rear view mirror🌲 and a delicious bucket of fried chicken 🤤🤣
@@PhenomenalFumes I’m taking that you are not a fan of the wear experience 🤣
@@SeldomlyOften this is what I call a "pep talk" fragrance. I have to try and convince myself that I'm making the right choice before I spray it on, Lol.. Like, "Come on bro you got this! All girls love sexy fried chicken!?!" 🤣🤣🤣
@@PhenomenalFumes 😂
Love it!
