But, to be fair, we have proof that the lyrics have been changed after the initial demo version - just listen to the Roxy live recording from 1985 and you will hear that Ture sings the newer vocals also found on the Darius tape ("real excuse" instead of "good excuse" and so on)!

@@avantgardish_n_stuff Thanks, lots of software was used like Capstan for fixed pitch (still better than Izotope RX in wow and flutter) , readjusted phase cancellation by bad transfer, and L and R channel latency was off by few ms, after that Waves Znoise combination with RX Spectral gate de noise, and few more hiss and distortion restoration tools for high ebd, after that it went through analog Eq before separation into AI for individual stems additional mixing, added missing sub frequencies with bx_subsynth, and highs with ozone clarity app, individual stems imaging with DrMS, DDMF Directional EQ and multiband compression Weiss and Waves F6, and lots more
I have question! This version we are listening to in this video, from the NDR Tape, was the definitive version of this song at that time, and the tape presented in November during the discovery were demos, right?

I always felt this one had more polished arrangements, despite the tape's low quality, as you mentioned! I must admit, I wish I could have heard the final version in its best quality. yeah izotope doesnt have the best algos for that, Ive used that one pros use for restoration for ages, and even audiophiles, Celemony Capstan, its just amazing (no wonder it costs 4500$, but its available for free at some special places :)
