It’s also surprising that so many people were ok with the bullying. One of the benefits of social media with stars is that the media has lost that power and control. They literally could make everyone turn on a star and bully them if they wanted to. A lot of people argue that todays new generation is too sensitive, but i’d rather they be sensitive and not allow people to get bullied for no reason then for them to partake in it.

Let’s not forget people look larger on camera than what they really are. Seeing some of these women in person I have been shocked by how tiny they actually are. Sone of them barely look to weigh 100 pounds (circa 2000s and 2010s) every celebrity we see is actually even smaller than they appear. It’s so sad the pressure. Oh and the men are always shorter in person.
I don't know why people think that being a celebrity is all glamorous. Celebs are just like us they have problems just like the rest of us.

I was practicing celibacy and I had a sorority sister I told because of relevance and she said in front of an entire room of our frat brothers this just randomly. I made the same mistake first week in college of telling people I was a virgin. It felt like there was a competition to get to me. ⚠️ It resulted in someone who I thought I liked touching me without consent. I remember this era of paparazzi and tabloids. They were so brutal. Criticizing her weight, doing crouch shots of Brittany, Lindsay,etc. the paparazzi/tabloids was just insane.
It’s so sad how she was body-shamed and treated poorly Nick. It’s also crazy that her father gave her a ring to protect her “purity” by way of not wanting her to engage in sexual acts willingly. However, he neglected to acknowledge sexual misconduct towards her unwillingly, despite her mom even having suspicions.
Honestly I believe Nick Lachey (the first husband) is still in love with her and salty at the fact that she divorced him. His 2nd wife is also weirdly threatened by Jessica despite them being married for a good while now. I know she wasted no time to snatch Nick up once he and Jessica divorced. I doubt he even had the chance to properly grieve his divorce from Jessica.
Of course she’s threatened by her. Jessica is prettier and has a nicer figure. His current wife has a weird body shape. Not to sound rude but it’s true.
Jessica's weight would NOT be an issue today. Just about every entertainer/celebrity is using Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro to love weight quickly. whether its five pounds, or 100 pounds these weight-loss drugs have become the panacea for obesity.

The only thing I didn't like about Jessica is when she kind of berating singer's like Britney- saying she was parading her stomach/ body. Then went on to do the exact same thing because she wasnt getting the attention. Although the agency did have a huge part to play on that.

I also want to add that I'm around her age & it was so unhealthy how women were targeted about their weight for like the entirely of my youth & before I was born. I have physical damage from disordered eating in my youth, trying to adhere to this standard. I'm so glad that I wasn't a famous person because it was bad enough just existing as a young woman during that time.

I grew up in the 90s I was a teenager about only about a year or two younger than Jessica Simpson when she made it big but there’s also been other things that I’ve been hearing about Jessica Simpson about the fact that she wanted to sing Christian music in the first place and the Christian music label said that they wouldn’t allow her to sing Christian music because she was too sexy and her boobs were too big and she would tempt people with her body so they told her pretty much to go to secular labels, which I think is so wrong for the Christian music industry, but I think that if they had a law had allowed her to do what she wanted to do she wouldn’t have been in this mess

Seeing people driving replicas of well-known cars from "Starsky & Hutch", "Knight Rider", "Spenser for Hire", " The A-Team", " Magnum P. I", and more, definitely didn't stir up controversy and uncomfortable feelings for several, like The General.
It didn't hurt my feelings at all when that car was no longer seen around the city.

I just had to pause 5 and 1/2 minutes in and vent my disgust at those on their Christian record label that body shamed her for being curvaceous and beautiful. Those people disgust me on a regular basis for their narrow minded hypocrisy anyways, but no woman should face this. This infuriates me. Incidentally, I honestly had no idea she was a singer.
Yout videos always make me reevaluate how i have looked at a lot of women that are in and have been in the public eye. I have had harsh judgements in the past thinking that women that were singers and actresses had a perfect, easy life. Growing older has made me a lot less judgemental of others and their lives...
What about being human? I’m in the minority. I refuse to listen to the Shade Room and The Breakfast Club. I also didn’t grow up watching Wendy Williams. I’m not into attacking celebrities or anyone especially after losing Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and others. It’s also important to recognize that social media and influencers play into this vicious cycle. I stopped reading and subscribing. This is how we collectively resolve these issues.
