Ms Alourde I love your break downs I really loved her as Amanda on Melrose place I like to hear Sammy Joe as well on dynasty but Amanda was my favorite I sent her well wishes. I was wondering could you also do a breakdown on Shelley Duvall she is also suffered a great deal in the industry with mental illness.
Played Precilla Davis ...I miss my relatives ..Dee and Jackie..
I worked as an Extra on Melrose Place in the 90's. I was entering the set through a door and Heather was coming through that door at the same time. I tried to hold the door open for her but instead she held the door open for ME! She had a big friendly smile on her face and she was pregnant at the time! Such a class act and a lovely person!
That would Be the ultimate dream job! I Love Melrose Place!
She sounds like a genuinely nice person!
She only has the one daughter, so I don't think her daughter is that old. Maybe she had a miscarriage.
@@RebeccaKhan-fx7jf That's weird! I wonder if she was 'playing' pregnancy on the show for the character's storyline? I feel odd now! I never watched the show (sorry Melrose fans)😊so I don't know! I only worked on that show like I think it was twice? Hmmmm interesting. I really hope she did not have a miscarriage! I have a hard time believing that she was just 'heavy' in the tummy area! Heather? No way! Anyway I don't think I'm remembering it wrong, how embarrassing if so. Either way I thought it was cool of her to hold the door open for me. That much I am completely sure of!
@@heathermanning5368 I loved working on the show! I only got to work on it for I think it was a couple of days, so not long. They did not usually use extras more than a few times. Believe me I would have worked on the show a lot more if they had any long-term extras!
She's a real life Barbie. If they had been making a Barbie movie in the 80s or 90s, Heather would've been perfect! 💕💕
The movie would not have been woke
A very beautiful woman and who unfortunately went downhill too fast poor baby girl Heather a very heartbreaking situation her Dad was a Marine congratulations to her my late father Michael Weinstein was a former Marine
@@Margriet101😂😆
I've always thought she looks like a Babie. Agree! Young Heather would have been perfect.
@@Margriet101 All the better!!😄
That industry is just pure evil
I agree they should have free access to therapy and rehab
Hollywood seems to suck the life out of people . The price of being famous is not what we think it is. I pray she finds peace and happiness. ❤
Heather Locklear's life choices lead her to the place she is now. She was playing on the dark side. However, she's one of the most brilliant actresses in the TV industry. She'd still be working currently if she had it together. Nonetheless, I will pray for her sobriety and mental well being.
I thought she was so wholesome. She then married Tommy Lee..he cheated. She was married Ritchie Sambora and he cheated on her with her BFF Denise Richard's. So sad. She had a broken heart 💔.
Heather is an icon. Pamela Anderson always got her left overs. Scott Baio, Tommy Lee and a couple others. Heather is an example of how picking the wrong men can tear up your life. Well done documentary. 🙏🏾.
Absolutely couldn't agree with you more! Women who are good sometimes don't see the worst in others until it starts taking a toll on them.
I met her once years ago I was working on 5 avenue. We helped her buy some clothes that day at the store. She was so nice and down to earth. I will never forget that.
Celebrities go from being adored by everyone and feeling on top of the world to being aged out of the industry and no one remembering them anymore. It must be hard to lose that level of attention.
Very similar to NFL football players. You’re hot until they kick you to the curb.
Rich people problems.
@@monk4everthing is, a lot of them are poorer than you or I…they live beyond their means while the money is coming in and then end up blowing it all. That jackass Jason Mimoa was in debt till he got the aqua man gig.
@@h0rriphic Oh, you don't like him either? I don't like him.
She was so gorgeous and talented. It’s really sad how she has declined, mental illness is real.
After using drugs
Demon possession is real!
I pray for her 🙏🙏 speedy recovery ❤️🩹 with addiction and mental health!
I hope she has as speedy recovery!
@@astarisborn9820
I would say Influence..... not possession. 'Dark night of soul' is part of the journey.....and she will rise like the Phoenix cleansed by fire! 🔥💥⭐🌟🙏💜
@@totti.Addiction is now classified as a mental health disorder 😢
As someone who struggles with anxiety and depression daily, I recommend helping animals. I had it with people, people always hurt me, men especially. Relationships seem like easy escape but more often it's not, I always ended up hurt, just like Heather. I wish I am not poor so I can help more because it would fulfill me if I could do more. People won't help you when you are miserable, that's just my experience.
Beautiful advice, thank you
You are absolutely right! I was betrayed by family + friends the past couple of years who stopped talking through me while I was struggling w depression + anxiety. Got a dog last month and feeling a lot better. When I’m back to “normal” I will not be letting all the people who ditched me back in! And basically what makes people ditch you is just appearances. I gained weight w depression and suddenly people treat you different and don’t invite you. But I see their shallowness! They’ll never see me when I’m thinner again 😝
@@__rm307 I don't think it's appearance. It's often how much we are of use to them. Sadly, a lot of people pretend to be our friends as long as they can use us in some ways. I had people ditch me because I stopped "being fun" due to my depressions and I had anxiety attack and no one wanted to deal with that. Also, in relationships with men as soon as I would want him to do more for me, commitment, love, more time together and not just shallow fun it's "bye bye" to me. So, cats! I am sad though I can't afford to take much better care of all those cats then I financially can.
I feel this!
Felt .
Thank you for having integrity. I wish more TH-camrs had compassion like you.
Heather really was the TV Queen. It’s insane how many hits she had on the tube.
She is absolutely beautiful and talented. It's so sad and hurtful. It makes me understand that all that glitters isn't gold. No telling what she has all been through in Hollywood. I hope she heals. Melrose Place, Dynasty and way back in the day TJ Hooker. ⚘
The industry is designed to destroy these soul.Evil.
Unfortunately , most of them when they get into at such a young age they get exposed to the worst of the worst. They get used up and past around until they are thrown away.
Mental health is real, and people ignore the signs. Much love to the legend. Thank you for doing a video on Heather Locklear.💙❤💙❤
I don't think millenials understand how big DYNASTY was. It was the rival show to DALLAS and Heather Locklear was a HUGE star way before Melrose Place. Sadly she was already tabloid fodder by the early 90s for her behaviour and substance abuse. Hollywood really needs to start treating its people better because there's clearly something going on if most child stars suffer so much by the time they're adults😢 Hope Heather gets better, she was such a beauty❤
Im 30 and i loved watching and collecting Dynasty Dallas Knots Falcon Crest and Melrose on DVD in the early 2010s. Still have them.
Just as much drug use with kids outside of Hollywood. We just don’t see it in the celebrity magazines and websites.
@@nicklundy9965 You have awesome taste 👌🏾
TJ Hooker too
@@larasikora5534 Oh, yes! That was such an awesome show. Thank you so much for the reminder ❤️👌🏾
Mental illness and substance abuse is a real bitch. Until you find yourself there it's hard to understand but it can happen to anyone. We need more love, compassion, support, and understanding. I hope she finds her way back to herself. You just never ever know what someone is battling behind the scenes. ❤
Thank God, as I got older, it all seemed to settle down, and level off, what I prayed for all my life. I love an even keel, it feels so good.
I remember Heather Locklear when she came into Dynasty as Sammy Jo, Crystal Carrington's niece. And she looked just like Linda Evans with her big blue eyes.
The thing with Denise Richards sent her over the edge. She was never the same after that.
You don’t get over stuff like that for sure. My best friend since we were kids, slept with my husband. We were friends since kindergarten up to my marriage. Even now typing this it pisses me off and it’s been over 40 years…
It's Richie Sambora's actions that sent her over the edge. The rest of Bon Jovi grew up and became family men. Richie continued partying. It seems like his infidelity/betrayal was the start of Heather's spiral. Sometimes one thing leads to another and it becomes a downward spiral.
@@cbass2755
I had the same thing happen!
@@kv2723Now we find out that Bon Jovi also cheated on his wife repeatedly.
I had the pleasure of knowing Heather for a couple years when she was married to Tommy Lee. We went to Hawaii for close to a week just 4 of us….she was fun, kind, sweet and extremely humble…..I really enjoyed knowing her. I pray for her and hope she finds her way. Such a lovely person with a kind and beautiful heart.😢
That is HEARTBREAKING 💔 She definitely use to be a beautiful and talented IT girl. Firestarter and Money Talks are CLASSICS! Prayers to her and her family. Hope she can exorcise her demons. 😔🙏🏾❤️
omg, i totally forgot she was in 'firestarter,' i just looked @ a 'money talks clip & Veronica Cartwright played her mother!! . . .
Sleeping with many men also gives a woman destructive energies from them.
Soul ties.
Maybe West said it best. ' First they monetize and then they traumatize'!!
Hello that’s what Hollyweird does to folks down the road.
It’s crazy how life imitates art. She played in a movie called ‘Shattered Mind’ where she suffered with dissociative identity disorder. The recent clip reminds me if her role in that film. Very sad
@tiffanys5889 That sounds like an interesting movie, I'm going to see if I can find it. Thanks
Side note Tommy Lee seams to always date/marry the same kind of women
He definitely has a type
It’s his pattern and he is the women’s pattern 🤷🏻♀️
@@carriebell3566 i’ve noticed sometimes toxic people tend to gravitate towards other people that don’t display these behaviors initially, but they find some kind of a way to influence them. There was always rumors of Pam and Tommy Lee doing drugs together. How much of that was true I don’t know, but I kind of forgot that Heather was married to Tommy and it was the same cycle
Tommy hit pam too he himself had a pattern
@@503ashkatchem4 agreed I knew he had a history of violence with women but I didn’t know about his relationship with Heather.
We appreciate how well you've articulated your own insights on this matter. You'll always have our support.
Heather Locklear was apart of that Rock & Roll Era.She got involved in that fast lifestyle back in the 90's probably the late eighties. Only wish her well.
Let's forget for a moment she's in her 60s she's a month younger than me. We age.
I’m not a psychologist- but it is possible she developed schizophrenia. It sometimes happens to women later in life due to their bodies changing and the fluctuations in hormones at that age. And if she struggles with drugs that can also be a trigger overtime. I’ve seen this happen to many women later in life.
It happened to my mom. Close to the age of 50, she just "snapped".
@@suzannemaria5594mine too 😢 she was 45
Geez...very unfortunate.

Alcoholism can cause mental illness. My dad an alcoholic would often be talking to himself towards the last several years of his life.
Karine, you did such an amazing job on this. Such beautiful coverage on Heather, honest yet respectful. I couldn’t imagine anyone else doing this with such class. Praying that Heather gets the help she needs. Thank you.
Hollywood has a tendency to break kind and amazing people. Hollywood is a vampire
You’re so classy. You can tell captivating stories bringing an audience without showing some stuff that most ppl would to get more views. ❤👍🏼
I hope she's finds peace while she's living. As a person who struggles with mental illness, the battle is every day and is exhausting. My heart goes out to her ❤
Coming from a good family. Fame. Fortune. Good looks. Sometimes, nothing is enough.
I feel in love in love with her character, Sammy Joy, on Dynasty in the 80's. When I first saw her growing up, and I asked my mom if I could watch, Dynasty? At first, she told me no. However, when I turned 14 or was I, I think 15, then she said, Yes. And she has a daughter that looks like her. I was a little upset when I found out that she had a drug problem. Get well, Ms. Locklear, people like myself, a major fan of yours, will always love you.
You are SO amazing! SERIOUSLY! Your videos are more informative and better researched than most biographies. Do you have a degree in journalism?
Aww thank you so much for this. No I don’t have a degree in journalism. I just love learning about influential people and humanizing them. 💖💖
@@KarineAlourde you are So talented! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. ♥️
I agree. Ive been binging after you popped up in my TH-cam feed on my tv, where I cant like or comment... tonight I had to go on my phone to suscribe and like and say ❤🎉❤
Agree with all praise you recieve!
And god bless Heather 🙏
When a woman is desperate to keep a bond with her husband/significant other, often they'll start to dive into things that they know their husband appreciates even if it's not good for them. I'm sure this goes the other way too for men. But I know from my experience I did just that to keep a bond between me and my husband years ago. And that bond ended up being drugs that I had never used before we were together. Luckily we were able to battle through it, get clean, and we're still together 16 years later. But I wish those lost years were spent healthy and happy.
I didn’t know about that situation a few months ago. I hope she gets the help she needs. She was always sitcom show gold!!!! Every show she was on from the 80’s/90’s / early 2000’s were an even bigger hit when she was on it.
The fact that denise Richard’s released those photos, then got with her boyfriend and then heather went on 2 in a half men and did a scene with charlie is iconic 😂
She needs to be held accountable.. which is the problem. They never have consequences and it just escalates. Hard to save these people who on the outside are top 10% people. They just never develop emotionally, mentally, spiritually... because they never had to. It's a hard life...
I met heather when motley Crüe toured Australia long ago, I was expecting that gorgeous smile to be the obvious feature, but those eyes, wow.
“To whom much is given, much is expected.” I think of this quote whenever I think of Marilyn Monroe, River Phoenix or Corey Haim and many, many others. It’s sad that they all sadly died due to substance abuse issues.
This is a Bible verse. It means when you've been given a lot (by God), you're expected to give a lot. It doesn't mean negative things will happen to a person.
Demons smh.
Edit: But we must pray.
We can blame her marriages to Rock Stars Tommy Lee (Mötley Crüe) and Richie Sambora (Bon Jovi) as the catapults
Unfortunately Holllyweird is full of vampires that will suck the life out of you! Btw my favorite role was Stacy on TJ Hooker and Melrose Place.
No telling what she has been through in Hollywood. HEARTBREAKING
I love how considerate you are to the people you profile. It’s very kind, and we need more of it.
yep poor thing. 2nd rock musician hubby left, taken by friend actress Denise R, domestic assaults, accidents, car in ditch, mug shot. n you covered it all❤ best to both of you
Thank you for posting this video which is definitely cautionary :
it shows one has to avoid toxic people anyway to protect oneself...
Besides, thank you for your integrity : you're staying true to yourself...
Hi Karine! Everytime I think about a celeb voila! You update us, thank you. Your generation is more familiar with the Melrose days, but in the 80’s during Dynasty, America was obsessed with her! I always felt the backstabbing and deceit by Richie Sambora and Denise Richard’s destroyed her heart. That seemed to be when was the start of her downfall. Her husband and so called best friend doing that to her was too much for her mental health to handle. I pray for her recovery.
The sensitivity and care you expressed for her really touched my heart rn. I really needed to witness this gentleness and love in this ugly world. Thank you.
Praying for her recovery ❤
Can you research Morgan Fairchild
In the 1980s she was on several TV series . I wish her well. Unfortunately she married the wrong men. All the best.
With Heather being in Modeling & acting. All of these things coming out in the Industry, with the SA etc..... Perhaps she was affected as well. And was unable to tell her story. Hence this is the end result.
My heart goes out to her. She had boundless success at a very early age and maintain that for a long time but we don’t know what an emotional toll it had on her. My prayer is for her recovery ❤
My first introduction to Heather Locklear was as Amanda on "Melrose Place". My mom loved her on "TJ Hooker". I didn't know at the time that she was married to Richie Sambora and was Tommy Lee's ex wife. I saw the video of her from back in July. Very sad. I hate seeing her like that.
I wish her well. She has been a soft, beautiful soul.
Best wishes Heather ♥️ I had the same issues and ended up with heart damage. It woke me up hope same for her before it gets to that stage. I love watching older shows too reminds me of happier times when Hollywood made good shows. Hope you have a happy New Year Karine 🪩 maybe one day you could do a vid about your own beauty regime & life story. Everyone has one. Can’t wait for more vids in new year. You honour peoples lives beautifully. Thanks for all your vids I’ve enjoyed them on bed rest.
Thank you Karine for this breakdown. I've been re-watching Melrose this passed year, I've always loved Heather and Denise Richards. It's very sad to see what she is going through today.
15 years of alcohol addiction is a long time. She needs therapy.
All I can say is as a woman battling anxiety and depression mental health is important and I send my love and prayers and support to her and her family I really loved her in melrose ❤place ❤
She’s been through a great deal and I will praying for her. 😘🙏🏾
Thanks for this lovely tribute. I’m rooting for her. ❤
I hope she finds a way to get help. She so beautiful so sad how everything crashes..
It is said Heather Locklear's father's ancestry is from one of the many mixed-race communities in North Carolina. Many of the descendants from these communities in North Carolina look white in appearance, but have not only white ancestry, but black and Indian ancestry as well. Research Locklear's in North Carolina. My father is from one these communities in North Carolina.
The black community loves her!
Her family geneology is online. Ethnicity: English, Scottish, German, remote Swiss-German and Cornish, possibly distant Lumbee Native American.
Thank you for another amazing video, your research and compassion are so appreciated, well done again 👏❤👏 indeed sending healing energy to Heather and her family ❤
Beautiful and enlightening and well put together commentary ❤❤❤❤❤
There are other industries too who start to reject a person after age 52. Some of us look much younger than our real age. We still deserve to get employed.
Karine you are going places girl. Your the medicine 🌱✅🙏🤌🌟💯 or at least bringing it to human beings who just had really cool lives (celebrities). What a nice ending to your video, your a sweet person to say such things to someone you don't know especially when it's so common for these type of pieces to focus solely on the negatives. Wish you well yourself.
Heather Locklear was that chick. Beautiful and talented. They put on TV shows and the ratings would go up. They use her and now they won't help her. No wonder Hollywood is falling.
Karine, I've been enjoying your videos for a little while now. They are very well done and interesting. I have to say, your compassion in Heather Locklear's situation makes me like your work even more. Cheers
I don't keep up with this stuff but I loved her on Dynasty as Sammy Jo. Poor woman
Praying for her
When judgement day comes for all of us, I truly believe men will find out how much they’re accountable for women’s demise. Essentially it would be extremely smooth for women to fall in line if men would follow God.
Please don’t do the flashing lightening in the background. It actually gave me a headache.
Did any of you know beautiful Heather Locklear is part Lumbee descent through her father's lineage. Her last name, “Locklear,” is in the language of the Tuscarora tribes and means “hold fast.” The Lumbee have a mixed ancestry, which is mostly comprised of European, Native American and Africans who intermarried with each other. I know because this is a North Carolina tri-racial group I'm aligned with as well. Heather hold fast.
I was just going to mention her Lumbee heritage. 💕
Her geneology said "possible distant Lumbee heritage" on the fathers side (way back).
Have you seen photos of her father@@reesedaniel5835?
Heather Locklear is gorgeous. I didn't realize her mental health was on the decline 😢
By the way, when Rita Hayworth was older and not in great mental/ emotional shape they took and quickly published pictures of her that they should not have. SMH They also took suggestive pictures of Princess 👸 Diana while she at the gym when straddling workout 🏋️♀️ equipment. She threw a fit. Some of these videographers/ photographers are cruel.
My best wishes to you Heather ❤
