The reason he titled the book he gave her "the Greatest Love Story Never Told" is because it was supposed to never be told. It was a book of their 20+ year *secret* feelings and relationship. Containing his and her personally intimate communications and private secrets about themselves and each other, and their personal private business, left lying around the studio like a magazine for casual reading by anyone. Those secrets were between two people, *two* . Some of what is revealed affects not only Ben and how he feels but also the feelings of their others: their former spouses, their children, etc.. He wasn't trying to stop JLo from being an artist, he was just trying to be romantic and loving in saving it all and making the gift for her but being respectfully discreet about it. Being the muse and inspiring her creativity is one thing, and I bet is all good by Ben, wonderful even, but I agree with Ben that she crossed a line. That's a deal breaker, imho. I know a few people who work on sets. We were talking about Ben and JLo when they first started dating years ago. Whenever they were together, she always made sure to stay in his view or keep a hand on him. That's suffocating, no matter who you are. The reason he titled the book he gave her "the Greatest Love Story Never Told" is because it was supposed to never be told. It was a book of their 20+ year *secret* feelings and relationship. Containing his and her personally intimate communications and private secrets about themselves and each other, and their personal private business, left lying around the studio like a magazine for casual reading by anyone. Those secrets were between two people, *two* . Some of what is revealed affects not only Ben and how he feels but also the feelings of their others: their former spouses, their children, etc..
He wasn't trying to stop JLo from being an artist, he was just trying to be romantic and loving in saving it all and making the gift for her but being respectfully discreet about it. Ben affleck is definitely as famous as Jlow and it’s bc he has actual talent. He most certainly did not need Jennifer Lopez to make him more famous. And more so than that he doesn’t care about being famous. She does.

Every women has to come in the comments and dog pile on Ben. Lets make it real JLo has been married to 4 and has probably dated dozens of some of the most successful and powerful men in the world when it comes to celebrity status. It seems they had a flirtaious relationship going on for decades away from the public eye. This suited them the one part of their life they could keep private. They probably both lived in a fantasy of sorts with it but then realized when in the public eye it wasnt what they wanted. Ben doesnt seem to love a high profile media persona while JLo feeds of the attention. For them they probably felt it was the perfect mix of two worlds. Normal people cant understand how celebrities and high status people live and date, it is nothing like you could ever experience or imagine. Now just think about how hard is for many of you to keep a relationship going.... now imagine if you had serious baggage, 100s of millions and endless paparazzi following you every second of everyday. Every look, gesture etc anazylazed.

I feel that JLo "needs" the media attention for self-validation and a man as an escape from looking within herself. Ben "avoids" the media because it calls attention to his many demons and "needs" a woman as escape from looking within himself. They have their flaws, like every human. I hope they both get the help they need to find genuine peace, love and happiness within themselves. Perhaps that will lead them to making better choices going forward. Sending them both love.❤🙏
