I totally recommend anyone age 50 yrs or older to get this Shingrix. I wish it were only one shot versus two because of the side effects. Some get it worse than others, but with the first shot I got flu like symptoms including chills and all over body aches after about 6 hours or receiving the injection. The pain sucked and I didn't get any sleep that night and it lasted about 1.5 days. I recently got the second shot after waiting a few months. It wasn't as bad, but I still felt achey for about a day. In the end, I would recommend scheduling it on a Friday afternoon if you still work as then you will have the weekend to take it easy and not have to worry about trying to work when you feel achey. Shingles is nothing to mess with and can be extremely painful so it is worth it.

As for the list of ingredients, I recommend you google 'Shingrix drug monograph' and you will find the manufacturer's detailed information about the vaccine, including the ingredients.

i got shingles the first time when i was in my mid 30s,my dad was telling me few weeks ago to get the caccine,plus my nursre practicianer told me i might get shingles again when im over 50
I got Shingles in April it kicked my ass it was on my forehead and left eye area. It was painful. So my doctor told me it may return so he said to get the Vaccine. Shingrix. I just had the Vaccine last week on Wednesday it was painful the shot it stung. I did not have the experience as most of you. Maybe because I had the shingles. My second shot is in November.
