Wow, Rex is growing! So I made it to superior north of l'anse, the small peninsula. All I found was petrified sand,lol. But it was real cool. I got a tip from the MI. b.a. he said go on the west side of the big peninsula. Lots of black sand. I'll let you know.

Perhaps soak in oxalic acid for a day or so before you classify to remove those iron stains from the specks, might make them easier to spot in the pan. I use it to clean iron staining off of quartz and it works great.
Those were some big magnetic chunks. When you tossed those tailings in the driveway i laughed. I bet your driveway looks like my side yard. Its olmost pure black sand by now. You scored some nice gold. Thats a cool deal you got going with the guy in alaska. That hard working miner wooden keg is awsome. I am with you. I love the flower gold . Jason, like the super stacker sluice - someone should consider making a vertical arrangement of classifier grid sceening bowls. Then one could shake one's product through the various centimeters, and have it worked from nuggets, pebbles, grains, ... pickers, flour, and dust.
Sell the PS5, buy a pan, classifier and a digging device(you'll have $$$ left) and get outside to find some AU. Or if in a state that has no gold...buy a dirt bag. Heavy pans and good luck.
