Pastel you can get any place in South of Brazil ( if it’s not all Brazil) . The best ones are from free market that’s happens once a week . ( feira livre) ask some people where and when you can see a feira livre .

Kurt, pastel or pastéis (plural) are sold all over Brazil. Prawns, beef, cheese, heart of palm etc. However, I agree with you, not everyone makes it with banana and cinnamon quite like they make in the south. I dream with it here in London Uk. Well! you just missed "bombinhas" right before itapema, bombinhas is the best town by the santa catarina coast line, but anyway there's a lot to see on the way up, we are going along. Enjoy it!
You need to know Ubatuba in São Paulo, there are several beaches, many turtles, nature, go to the Island of Cabbages, access is by boat, leaving Picinguaba, is very worthwhile. And then head to Parati, south of Rio de Janeiro, sure they were as delighted as Florianópolis.

hello guys, you are very close to my state Paraná, I have a tip for you, you need to visit Ilha do Mel, one of the most beautiful places in the south, the island is a natural reserve, it has two "encantadas" beaches and "Brasilia".Brasília is the best! ❤
btw if you love pastéis (plural for pastel) you should try them with sugar cane juice (“Caldo de Cana”), it’s a street food staple anywhere in Brazil. but make sure to get the salty ones (not the sweet ones you’ve been getting) because the juice is very sweet already!

I hope you come visit Morretes, it's an hour away from Curitiba, it's a tourist town, several restaurants, a river that cuts through the middle of the city, several trails and waterfalls and for you of course a great bird spot. It is a city that is worth the trip outside the train ride from Curitiba to Morretes, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in South America.

The correct way to pronounce the Brazilian currency Reais is 'Hey-eyes' - this is a close approximation to how you might write it phonetically for an English speaker and not Reales. I believe they’re pretty safe as lHurricane /typhoon did not affect us here in Florianópolis that much , as they are traveling north I’d should be less less problematic, barely an inconvenience :)
There are no hurricanes (tropical storms) in the southern Atlantic since Catarina in 2004 I think. Subtropical storms, cyclones, até quite common however and much weaker
They have pastel (pasteis is plural) in the north too. Both savory and sweet ones. It is so fun to follow your jorney. I had planned to study in Florianopolis, years ago, but couldn't because of health issues. But I have to go visit!
Great video! A bit sad you had to leave Florianopolis, so much yet to see there! But you gotta move on. Now, to get to Joinville, you missed two very important places to visit!! - Bombinhas - Balneario Camboriú. Look for some pictures of Bombinhas and it’s surrounding beaches. It’s a very special place! Balneario Camboriu is not 100% your “type” as it has become a more touritic/fancy city with it’s tall buildings, but there is a cBle car to the top of a mountain that is very cool to do, there is a spinning wheel too with beautiful scenario, a an amazing aquarium too! Hopefully you can go back a little and visit these places. Cheers!

On your walk today you did close ups of some beautiful flowering plants ( thank you !) The purple flowers were Pleromas, the red flowers were Hibiscus and couple with them was one of my favorite blue flowers, Duranta erecta. This SA native is in the Lantana family, and although beautiful to behold-has somewhat toxic yellow berries.
Ooooh ! The pink ball flower you did a close up on was the Dombeya. It’s native to SA, in the hibiscus family. If you get close enough to smell the flower cluster you’ll find a sweet coconut fragrance. ♥️♥️♥️. Thank you for the close up on this wonderful shrub/small tree.

You must stay longer to visit the western side, eat oysters, and see the beautiful architecture of the Azores colonists. Downtown is quite interesting, the market is very good to walk around. And moçambique is a beach inside a reservation, you should go there to take bird pictures.

Hello Guys!!! You will see more Tucanos further north, like for example in the state of São Paulo. Here where I live (Pindamonhangaba) there are many of them, and their beaks are colored with different colors and not just black as in this video

I hope you come visit Morretes, it's an hour away from Curitiba, it's a tourist town, several restaurants, a river that cuts through the middle of the city, several trails and waterfalls and for you of course a great bird spot. It is a city that is worth the trip outside the train ride from Curitiba to Morretes, which is said to be one of the most beautiful in South America.

I believe they’re pretty safe as lHurricane /typhoon did not affect us here in Florianópolis that much , as they are traveling north I’d should be less less problematic, barely an inconvenience :)
There are no hurricanes (tropical storms) in the southern Atlantic since Catarina in 2004 I think.
Subtropical storms, cyclones, até quite common however and much weaker

The City with skyscrapers in the video was Camboriu. Itapema was a little before it.

Now, to get to Joinville, you missed two very important places to visit!!
- Bombinhas
- Balneario Camboriú.
Look for some pictures of Bombinhas and it’s surrounding beaches. It’s a very special place!
Balneario Camboriu is not 100% your “type” as it has become a more touritic/fancy city with it’s tall buildings, but there is a cBle car to the top of a mountain that is very cool to do, there is a spinning wheel too with beautiful scenario, a an amazing aquarium too!
Hopefully you can go back a little and visit these places. Cheers!

Try visiting São Francisco do Sul. An island you can reach by road. Just a magnificent place. Full of history and amazing nature.

On your walk today you did close ups of some beautiful flowering plants ( thank you !) The purple flowers were Pleromas, the red flowers were Hibiscus and couple with them was one of my favorite blue flowers, Duranta erecta. This SA native is in the Lantana family, and although beautiful to behold-has somewhat toxic yellow berries.
Ooooh ! The pink ball flower you did a close up on was the Dombeya. It’s native to SA, in the hibiscus family. If you get close enough to smell the flower cluster you’ll find a sweet coconut fragrance. ♥️♥️♥️. Thank you for the close up on this wonderful shrub/small tree.

I loved that place too! In the end though, it looked like you were in Miami. Thats a BIG city! The birds always get me. I wouldnt go to Europe. Its not as beautiful as South America. Idk for sure but I doubt it. Beautiful video.

Great closeup shots of the birds their colors were so pretty. Liked the cat strolls as well. Getting the spare tire was a relief. Hope padlocks hold. Wonder where you will head to get the van loaded on the ship. I think it must be to the north just not sure.
Visit the cities of Caldas Novas and Pirenópolis on the state of Goiás. Caldas has hot thermal water and Pirenópolis has Lot of waterfalls to explore

You must stay longer to visit the western side, eat oysters, and see the beautiful architecture of the Azores colonists. Downtown is quite interesting, the market is very good to walk around. And moçambique is a beach inside a reservation, you should go there to take bird pictures.

Hello Guys!!! You will see more Tucanos further north, like for example in the state of São Paulo. Here where I live (Pindamonhangaba) there are many of them, and their beaks are colored with different colors and not just black as in this video
