Looking good, keep up the great work. And don't worry about it taking so long. Aaron Cake's 1976 Cosmo project has been ongoing since at least 2012. It might give you a few ideas too :D
The heavy springs and the sway bar on that truck probably mean it used to have a slide in camper in it in the past. Those springs and sway bar would help with the additional weight, and the sway bar would keep it from rolling too much in the corners. Love the content, keep it up!
@@lilorbielilorbie2496 me and Puddin are from the same generation. My 11 year old self would be proud of the fact I'm still using phrases like, Momma didn't raise no punk. 😄
Dude, you’re across the monetization threshold in 2 months! That’s awesome! Took us 4 months to get over that line, which I guess is still quick. God’s been good to us. We’re grateful. Looking forward to more growth this year. Gave you 1 more sub 👍
hey bud im retired now 30 years in EMS and FIRE it does my heart good to see you working on that ole truck i myself have a one ton 1974 and a 1979 chevy 4X4 4 inch lift and im in my 60s and still love my old trucks
My first square body was an '82, have had a half-dozen more since then including a few 4x4's, 2 longed dually 4 doors, and a K5 blazer. Loved my time as an EMT in a small town volunteer department.
Thanks Skip, this is one thing I love to hate, working on old cars is not always fun, but the satisfaction of finishing a project keeps me coming back for more and taking K8lynn along for the ride.
Wish I could put a picture in comment of my c10 truck I did the same thing ur doing to urs nice looking square body instead of cutting my springs I did spindle drops what yr is that truck ur working on mine is a 84 with a 89 front core support
This one is an '81. I'm shopping drop spindles right now because I don't think I can cut the springs 2.5 inches to get 5 inches of drop with just the springs.
Ver cool daughter and dad bonding moments, plus teaching very valuable information...

Thanks for the encouragement, and for watching all the way through.

That's an explanation I hadn't thought about. Thanks Kelly.

Thanks for the great humor and content.
Just out here trying to look stupid enough to be funny, but not stupid enough to be ignored. Thanks for watching.
It’s coming together nicely
Thanks Tony, feeling like we're on the home stretch with this one done.

i lost a few friends but loved it so much
It’s hard to experience something you know most other people will never be able to relate to. It’s called a brotherhood for a reason. God bless.

What are K8lynn's plans for the old Ford?
Newer chassis and suspension components, rebuild the flathead v-8, and keep the character of the 84 year old body, including the patina.
what size shocks did yall use for the rear im doing a flip on my c10 and cant figure out the shock size i need.
Stock shocks, just need new lower shock mounts. Comes with most axle flip kits you’d find on eBay.
