Sorry if it’s a stupid question but are the measurements the same if I use denim ?

Not a stupid question x
The measurements for this design will only work on stretchy fabric sadly.
If you’re using non stretch fabric like denim I’d recommend draping the denim fabric on a mannequin that is your size orr you could create a bodice pattern block using pattern paper with more detailed measurements.
Sorry for the info overload, I don’t currently have a tutorial on creating bodice blocks but can share a link to a good tutorial if you need one. Lmk if my answer helped ☺️
