Always a issue a stud thats snapped off,i now cut the stud off (before i snap it! !! )center punch exactly the middle and drill, tqp the sucker out.If its snapped a way in, mig a nuggert ontop ,and build up some material, then grind flat and do for a cut of stud. I hate old buggered exhaust studs, the sad part is,when i put a new stud in i copper greese it, i wont get the benifit, someone else will, still, eventually there will be no problems like this in the world.
Consider having a left screwed drill bits set. A very effective drilling and unscrewing broken studs same time
Very good. I always have trouble getting the center point with the punch, and it goes down hill from there.
Thanks for making the video. But it was painful to watch. Just invest in some left hand drillbits. You won’t regret it.
"This stud is kicking my a**"
I know exactly how you feel!!! 😡😭
I could watch that for hours - it's like meditation :-)
Studs can be a real bear sometimes
Great video
Lubricity is good. You could run it through the dishwasher, to get all of the metal debris out ;)
Nice

Wouldn’t it have just been quicker to drill it out and put in a Timesert insert Mike?
Hopefully this goes easier for me 😂 not looking forward to it
