      You black women arent looking for no strong man of principle, wisdom or guidance or whatever bluff you’re claiming. Neither are men like Kobe foolish enough to chance themselves with you. Thinking black men with high intellect who are patriarchal and desire non feministic feminine females know better than to take the modern liberal western female serious. His wife was Mexican and allowed the man to be the leader, teacher, protector he’s supposed to be; while you idiots have been slandering the man since his passing. All because he made a rather logical investment building a family with his Mexican wife.

      Bruce Taylor Exactly.......unfortunately, that’s why men are walking away, especially from western females with the power they are given. They use it, and further program the females, disrespect/destroy the male spouse, then create soft matriarchal hyper emotional, illogical males.

      To some degree, I wasn't too surprised at Michael Jackson's death, the media fucked with him so much, I surprised he didn't commit suicide. Then every once and while, you would hear rumors that Michael Jackson is being rushed to the hospital. That day they said he was dying or dead, I assumed it was another rumor till all TV networks confirmed it. Before the autopsy, I assumed it had to be drug related. Dude was using anesthetic drip meds to sleep, because of severe insomnia. A friend of mine who had surgery, they gave propifol, and said just a little bit of that knocks you right out. He said its so strong, you feel like closed your eyes for a second and don't realize who long you were out for.

We'll update this story as soon as it develops". I went "What The Fuck, wait a minute" I had to read that 4 or 5 times to see if this shit was real. Then my Dad called. Now when Dad calls, you know it's true. Then the friends I hung out the night before called in shock. We like "didn't he reached out to LeBron to congratulate him hours before?". it blew our mind. The Aaliyah reference is the closest situation i can relate this to, its just all so tragic. One thing I do want to correct though at 7:21, even though neither one of us were there, Im certain (years of research) Aailyah didnt personally pressure that pilot to take off KNOWING the plane was overloaded. There were handlers and executives all around her whose jobs were to handle those details. Her job was to complete the Rock the Boat video which she completed and did quite well. I had to say something because your platform is to big to put out mis-characterizations like that. It almost insinuates that she "deserved" that fate or "had it coming" because she pressured the pilot into a unsafe situation. And that's NOT what happened. Sorry, I had to digress.

    •  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course it's not strange. That's basically the concept of heroes.
      I don't know why this concept is foreign to you, but certain public figures and influential people have always gained admirers because of their accomplishments and their positive values. In the case of Kobe it's his great work ethic, always learning, always being focused, a never-give-up mentality, and after he retired, being a devoted dad and just being a very inquisitive and intelligent person overall.
      These values don't stop being admirable just because you don't know him personally. That's a very shallow way of looking at things. People look up to heroes, identify with them, emulate them, and root for them, and want them to do well. And when they die, people feel sad.
      That's why heroes and influential figures are remembered even by millions of people who don't know them personally. Otherwise we wouldn't have things like Martin Luther King Day, or Christmas.

    • @benrush7090
      @benrush7090 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ probably for this reason.
      why take it so defensively when you didn't even know Kobe yourself?
      it's not shallow to say that getting upset over someone you have never met is strange.
      to play devils advocate Kobe did cheat on his wife & some people even push the rape thing.
      we have to be very careful about worshipping these people, it creates a false reality in a lot of cases.
      i haven't cried once when a celebrity has passed & believe me i've probably read more biographies than just about anybody. But he wasn't part of my family or friendship circle.

    I’m 27. I remember Jordan but when I began playing basketball at 8yrs old, Jordan was retired and Kobe was all I knew. I will love this man forever and not a day will go by that I don’t think about his life. It’ll be a constant reminder that I can do more, be more, achieve the greater. Thank You Kobe, most people say “rest in peace” but we both know “rest” isn’t something you were too keen on. Work in peace, Mamba.

    This shit really hurts! For some reason I cried and felt a connection with Kobe even though I never met him but my heart goes out to Vanessa and her daughters and the Bryant family and the families of the passengers. He was and still one of the most amazing basketball players I ever seen. He is the reason why I loved basketball in the first place. His daughter, Gianna was going to carry his legacy but unfortunately and sadly she was on that plane as well. RIP Kobe and Gianna and the 7 other passengers.

    Even if Kobe told the pilot to keep going (which I’m sure he didn’t at that point cause I’m sure it must have been nerve racking being in the air for that long) the pilot should’ve just landed at the Burbank airport when he was right over. For these not familiar with the area, the Burbank/Glendale Area is pretty much the flattest part of Southern California so the pilot didn’t need to worry about running into mountains or hills and visibility is the least problematic in that area. Kobe owns the facility, they could’ve delayed it. He should’ve never taken off in the first place. They even teach Navy pilots who only fly over the ocean not to fly in fog and they have modern military technology. This helicopter was made in 1991. Kobe was literally GiGi’s age when it was made. They legit went on a suicide mission to try to make a kid’s basketball game on time and all died in one of the worst ways possible. That’s what infuriates and makes it seem so surreal to so many people.

      Agreed I'm not going to speculate that he told the Pilot to Keep going. This is tuff and will never know. But I'm sure if the Pilot had told Kobe and the others Its Dangerous he would've said land it especially with others on board.
      If they didn't get special clearance this is a different situation. I can only imagine the ones that gave them the go of what they're going thru. Its Tragic blaming is not going to help anything or anyone. We've all made mistake fortunately we here to learn from them. What I've learn is to Love each other forgive and forget make sure your make amends and try not to sweat the small stuff 🙏

      I know, but hindsight is 20/20. If you believe, and you don't have to share that with me, but I believe that only God knows. There was no malice, just poor judgement, probably. Being human. Many people have made costly mistakes but really, only God knows. I am not uber religious, I don't even go to church, but this is the only answer I have. This has helped me to accept their passing as hard as it is. I also asked God to accept them all into His Kingdom. I believe they are all with Him. It hurts but my beliefs have helped me. Please live well and be good to others because we don't know. But God does and when He calls, we gotta go.

    • @spidavenom4
      @spidavenom4 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      getoheisman yeah that’s the other part. They were the only cleared in the whole area to take off. State, city and federal copters were even grounded. It’s just such a freak incident and on top of that it happened to them. That combination is what’s making so unfathomable

    Vlad, Aaliyah did not pressure the pilot to fly. She thought everything was ok. Aaliyah was hesitant to even get on such a small plane. Get your facts straight.

      Vlad,stop spreading misinformation! For 18 years AP & the public been saying that nonsense! Aaliyah & her people(her label heads/reps who were with her if any) may have told the pilot to fly but she was weary of small planes! The pilot(like in Kobe's tragedy)had executive rule in matters of the flight! Kobe's was low visibility,Aaliyah's was weight. Her's was also outside of the US &had to be approved by US customs. Blackhawk (the company the pilot that flew Aaliyah worked for )had a few incident reprimands & lawsuits before Aaliyah's tragic death.The media is LITERALLY so evil saying this woman assisted in her & her crew's death?!!! STOP LYING ON AALIYAH, LEACH!

    The pilot should’ve called Kobe even before the flight and said “Kobe I apologize but it’s way too foggy to head up on the chopper this morning because of visibility. To be safe let’s just drive up early. In my heart of hearts I believe Kobe would understand. Everyone lives...the tournament games start a bit late and everyone haves a great time. I am sure the pilot didn't even tell him, Kobe is too smart to not consider safety issues. He even mention he would not allow his daughter Nani, to learn to fly on Jimmy Kimmel. He had 3 babies with him on board, he's too protective to make stupid call. It hurts that this shouldn't have happened.
