After spending a week in Taiwan, Lisa and I catch an early morning flight to Singapore where we will be spending the next couple of days. We spend our first day just wandering around the Marina. We check out the Merlion Statue and Gardens by the Bay before enjoying delicious street food at the Makansutra Gluttons Bay.

What month was this? Any tips on surviving the heat? Thinking of a trip there but nervous I might pass out?!

We were here at the end of April. I'm sure it gets even warmer in the summer! It was definitely hot and humid outside, but luckily there are so many things to do inside where it's air conditioned. Also, if you don't want to walk as much, it's pretty easy to take taxis around, and Singapore also has a good MRT metro system as well. Just be sure to bring water around with you to stay hydrated! I'd say it's definitely worth visiting, especially if you love to eat street food!
