- the small town full of very big things! Ten incredible world record holders in one town? Welcome to Casey Illinois! Here's what can happen when a small town thinks BIG! It was a dying small town. The oil boom went bust and almost took Casey with it! Instead of giving up as people starting packing and moving on toward greener pastures, one man came up with an ingenious idea for saving the now much smaller Casey. It was a BIG idea that paid off!
Today, Casey is home to over ten Guinness World record holding sites you can visit absolutely free… (Unless you take the guided tour)… The world famous objects are helping to revive this once struggling community that just keeps on dreaming BIG!
Join us in the hunt for as many as we could find and get a look at what it might be like to live here and see the mysterious messages embedded in the walls of our BNB!

We went to Casey last year and it’s a great town!! It’s so much fun to visit. They even have a checklist of all the giant things you can download. They sell stamped postcards at the ice cream stand under the giant mailbox if you want to mail a card and make the flag go up. We ate at a cute restaurant in an old barn next to the largest pitchfork. Definitely a cool stop.
We had the checklist but lost it so we made a true Jim and Vanessa 'adventure' out of it! (Seek and find)... Thanks for stopping in for our tour!
Casey, Illinois is huge. This looks like a really fun town to visit. I like that there is so much free stuff to see. And that they sprinkled Scripture around too. That was a really cool BnB too. Thanks for taking us along for the big tour!
