the video to me is just a way to remember it and also I can look back on this if I'm unhappy with my lines and want to try and learn the better line to take 😊
These are great cars!…other than the synchros, flexi’s, economy, reliability, build quality and a couple other things… I love mine!
Went on a boys roadtrip and had one for a weekend to throw around on the twisties. The most amazing driving experience ever! Jumped in a mk7 GTi dsg afterwards and I was bored as hell. 😂😂

Agreed. For french cars, Peugeot and Citroen use to be more reliable (and still are maybe) but they tend to follow the same philosophy of programmed obsolescence like everything else. Renault had very bad results on the moose test in the 90's and they improved their car performance a lot after that whilst getting more and more mechanical issues
For regular peoples car, I think Toyota is the best bet in terms of reliability nowadays but they mainly offer that s### CVT
@@Cuneiform585 They are great budget track cars but you have to be part mechanic to maintain it otherwise it will come with a cost. Great chassis, handling and power for the price. Spare parts are everywhere but you must have tools

I have one and i want it to get to mishaa
I scrapped my old 16s which i regret but it was the unknown clio 2 1.6 16s. Beat a mk5 r32 with it on a straight a remapped pd130 ibiza and evenly matched with mk5 gti's. That car was super fuel efficient and fun to drive but it was constantly falling apart.
Crazy how perfect the gearing is for the twisty parts just enough without hitting the rev limiter everywhere.

Would love to see a Renault Clio v6 driven by this man . One of the most intriguing cars for me and made me somewhat like 182 clios for a Subaru/Porsche fan that says a lot.

Definitely contemplating replacing my Clio 2 RS track car for a 3 RS after this video, what a machine!
Ultimately it's slower as it's quite a bit heavier and has a larger aero footprint for not much more power which you can make in the mk2 with some mods anyway. The chassis is very good and feels very planted in comparison though (but maybe a bit less fun)
Having owned both (I went the other way) the chassis is much more grown up and capable on the 3RS. Did enjoy the extra grunt of the MK2 though, and when on B14s like in this video, the Mk2 is 95% of the way there.

I don't know why... But the sound of this bad boy reminds me a lot the one your starter car in NFS U2 (Yeah it's very specific 😅) can do after being highly tuned ... And I freaking love it.
In general, hot hatches / light cars lap are my favorite on this channel !

Having owned a clio 182 they are amazing cars to drive. Yes it's cheap & French but that engine and the handling are c'est magnifique. When the VVT kicks in the engine really sings

If only someone in the afteemarket could sort out the synchro issue in the gearbox these cars would be so much more popular.
It's not like you can't drive them, you just have to plan for the synchros as an infrequent consumable. Like rod bearings on an M3, etc.

Tbh I prefer the rear camera, it makes a really interesting viewpoint. But Misha also said that he stopped it cause sooner or later the camera would fall to the floor near the pedals, and that could pose a real danger on the track

I was always wondering why these are so cheap here in Europe, can be found for about 6000+ Eur. And considering the stuff it offers it sounds great. They are quite popular for racing here in Croatia , expecialy the older model early 2000's one.

It's because unmodified the competition, like fiesta st and polo gti, is faster, more economical, has no gearbox issues and looks better.
But if you want to make a NA track car, this is a good option.
