What happens with the battery in a collision? Just got into an accident and the battery seems dead, though it had plenty of charge. Nothing about this was communicated to me when I purchased and I can't find information online. Autobody shop is at a loss.

Could be a G force sensor which cuts out the high voltage battery in the event of an impact.
