Easy way to propagate aquarium plants at home with no effort very easy very effective
In this video i am propagating hydrocotyle tripartita a beautiful carpeting plant
Suitable for low-tech tanks and paludariums

I love this plant hydrocotyle tripartita, tried to grow it submersed but all became yellow and then died. I still have some planted in soil, emersed, covered in plastic, hope that grows like yours have grown so bushy.

Wow, the end result is crazy beautiful! This is one of my favorite plants of all time. I've tried growing it in my aquarium, but even though it's described as an easy plant to care for, it's always died on me. My current one started dying, too, turning yellow and wasting away, but I've added CO2 and it's starting to develop a bunch of new, little leaves.
I'm also trying to grow them submerged never got satisfactory result

Except some like vallisnaria,egeria,stargrass etc
i used clay as bottom layer and river sand as top layer, u know how healthy aqua plants grows, my god cant imagine, i have 6 plastic tubs outside with partial sun light....

Can we grow this without covered, i make a setup with automatic spraying water every day from overflow pipe of water tank. Can i grow in that setup

I glued this plant to rocks because I’m having a hard time planting it to substrate. I don’t know if it will grow.
Gluing method won't work on it. It is labelled as a low tech plant but it is very hard to grow submerged. Need fertilizers and low ph

Yes all the emerged leaves gonna melt by time and new submerged leaves will appear

Fish that wont bother Swords,Crypts and Vals..Hygro...will nibble this plant. Very tender I suppose. I'm fighting a battle where I try to cover the plant in my tank with small pieces of coral so the plant can grow around the "protection"..we will see.
Corals can raise the ph of your tank so be careful it can be harmful for your plants
Tetras,rasboras, guppies,mollies and bettas are good for planted tank

Yes the soil has vermicopost and keep the plastic for atleast two weeks minimum in partially shaded area. After 2-3 weeks you can keep them in East facing window for morning sunlight or in direct sunlight
