    I'm adopted from Korea and always thought I was from Seoul, but later I found out I was born in Suncheon. I'm very drawn to the peaceful energy you show in this video. Perhaps one day I'll visit. Thank you so much!

    Visiting other Asian cities and metropolises, Seoul, even as a megacity is far from polluted to me and is one of the cleanest and safest in the world. I think its the only city in the world where you get a mix of the technologically advanced future, the booming present, and the charming past. You even get stunning views because of the mountains that surround Seoul, which you can hike. I do agree that as a megacity, Seoul is very densely populated, although the transportation system is one of the best, if not the best out there, helping ease things. I love Seoul and other Korean cities to bits because they are so dynamic. But once in a while, when I want to ease off myself from the fast paced life a bit, I always visit the Korean countryside. It seriously is healing and offers one of the most relaxing, calming, and stunning sceneries that you will experience. If you want a dynamic, booming, and exciting environment, its Seoul, Busan, Daegu, and other Korean cities for you. If you want a calming, easing, and relaxing environment, its the Korean countryside for you!

      Thanks a lot. Much appreciated! 🙏 Korea is full of beautiful places which are still very unknown for most travelers. Also when it comes to food you will find lots of local specialities. In this part of Korea the most amazing thing was having so crazy many banchans (side dishes) with the meal!

    Great video! I am actually in Mokpo right now (stuck due to the Typhoon) - I am wondering if you remember the name of that fried chicken and beer place is called?!?

    • @JereTravels
      @JereTravels  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks a lot! I can't find that places name. Even asked my Korean friend but he doesn't remember the name either.
      Anyways this is where it's located:
      www.google.com/maps/place/34°47'52.3%22N+126°25'52.4%22E/@34.7978471,126.4306868,19z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m6!3m5!1s0x0:0x0!7e2!8m2!3d34.7978462!4d126.4312337
      Definitely a good place to have chimek as they have pretty good craft beers.

      Yep, these are difficult times. I just came back from Slovenia a week ago and now the situation got worse in Europe again. Have to stop traveling for a while. Let’s hope this is over soon. Stay safe!

    Is it difficult to communicate in English in the countryside?

    • @JereTravels
      @JereTravels  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      For sure can be quite difficult! But younger people speak better and better English in Korea, so you will manage!
