I'd recommend adding heat and defroster vents. Even if you're not driving it during the winter, being able to defrost the windshield is just as much of a safety feature as a comfort feature. Also, the GPS antenna needs to see at least 4 satellites to calculate position in 3-dimentional space. Preferably more. Also, the RF signal will not pass through carbon fiber easily, so you may want to make sure the puck sits under an ABS plastic or fiberglass cover, maybe hit it with a piece of carbon-looking wrap.
it's a SEMA car, it's never gonna be driven. that alignment is awful. Probably gonna make a couple of burnouts or powerslides, thats it. If it was meant to be driven on actual twisty roads it wouldnt be on ridiculous wheels and an 2L NA engine would be plenty to make a decent driver happy, very happy. Just because you can build it doesnt mean that you should.
@@RokuRoku_696that doesn't make sense. Just because you have a daily doesn't justify making another car (that has decent handling in stock form) undrivable.

I came to make this same comment. I also want to add that Alcantara is more dirt, scratch and water resistant than suede, which is why it is more commonly used in automotive applications.
@@timhardeman4297Alcantara is the brand name of a synthetic textile with a soft, suede-like microfibre pile, noted for its durability. Alcantara was developed in the 1970s by Miyoshi Okamoto and initially manufactured by the Italian company Alcantara.
Right! I also use the blue on one of my bikes. Plan on using one on my 66 Datsun roadster build. This is awesome. Might want to grab mo.Lock glass key tube! Pretty small.
“Alcantara shares many of the same characteristics of natural suede, but rather than coming from a cow hide, Alcantara is made from a blend of polyester and polyamide (the same materials that make up microfiber towels). The two are very similar, and the terms are often used interchangeably”
I must say I wasn’t excited that you were making an electric car but I am impressed with what you have done. Wow, you are talented it is beautiful. you are in the next level artist
A dude building rebuilding a boat duralast did carbon hinges I was blown away. The hinges on the flat area in back made me think of it. They can be laminated in flush. It’s pretty rad
One of my favorite cars in a long time I love all the information you’re giving us I do just wanna see this thing drive, so can you give us a driving video before we go 12 more videos without seeing it?
Alcantara has very little stretch to it so you really have to bond it with something like headliner adhesive so it doesnt end up like a loose bag on things like dashboards. A good alternative is microfiber suedee, which is available with a knit backing layer so you can sew it up and then stretch it around things and it will stay nice and flat with no lumps.
Looks amazing. I can believe a lot of work went into this car. You should get Jeweler to make you a carbon ring to wear on your hand with the RF chip inbedded. No need to carry car keys then. 😎
Theres always a way. If you can read and replicate the manufacturers RF hz for that reader he should be able to put it into a ring. Buy a flipper zero and use that 😅
3:44 just note that wireless charging needs something that is not conductive, carbon fibre conducts electricity pretty well so I'm unsure if that will work so well (though I'm guessing you might be removing that piece of carbon fibre when you put in the wireless charging pad).
Cracks me up that someone would want A/C but not heat. Heat is an absolute necessity IMO, but I rip the A/C out of my cars because it's heavy and almost never needed in SF.
The back of the cars looks really good love the design not a big fan of the interior tho I think it's way too much alcantera and the front of the car is too rounded doesn't have those sharp edges like the back but overall guys really nice build keep up the good work 👍
i hate to be that guy but that stitching looks bad its not straight, single line looks cheap... and it looks like suede, not even alacantara. Which is fine but its impossibe to keep clean, The texture shows imperfections much easiers. Its basically why alacantara was invented for luxury cars.

Absolutely. It also keeps the interior from getting mildew and mold.

"Acess" must have been really last minute lol😆Love your channel and how far it's come!
They did everything they could for weight savings.

Just so happens that I am wearing my special edition tricolor Street Bandito t-shirt today! It is destiny!
Alcantera is a name for it. It’s a microfiber fabric that looks and feels like real suede. People think it’s leather when it’s not.
Really? Had that in my MR2, always thought it was leather
Specifically Alcantera is a German name brand microfiber fabric. They are/were so successful that everyone uses it as the generic term (like Kleenex).
I came to make this same comment. I also want to add that Alcantara is more dirt, scratch and water resistant than suede, which is why it is more commonly used in automotive applications.
Isn't alcantara literally a brand name for the company's microfiber material? Like kleenex for tissues.

Finally someone using MotoGadget on a street car. Seen them used on bikes for years, have the mo.unit blue so my phone acts as the NFC as well.
Right! I also use the blue on one of my bikes. Plan on using one on my 66 Datsun roadster build. This is awesome.

a ring to power the car. That's like getting married to the car! Awesome!
Did anybody else notice that “Access” was spelled wrong on the access stickers? Missing one important C Haha
Perhaps it was intentional.
I think, you should make the interior door handles out of carbon too
ditos always hitting hard. incredible interior lads
Awesome seeing Sam getting recognized! Awesome tuner with dsms and now ev cars wild.
I like the cupholders in the 4runner cuz they fit 40oz's when you drink & drive

10:32 - You should do the Koenigsegg thing and make yourself a pair of custom carbon Legacy suitcases to go with the car.
I must say I wasn’t excited that you were making an electric car but I am impressed with what you have done. Wow, you are talented it is beautiful. you are in the next level artist
The build is really coming together! It keeps getting better and better. The fit and finish is also next level compared to a couple years ago

Use the straps in the trunk area to strap down a subwoofer tube wrapped in carbon!
Love this build, love EVs - driving ICE cars now feels so archaic. This thing is gorgeous.
Love the luggage strap clips. Makes the straps way more user friendly then the original 240 ones
We’ll down
Saw it at Sema
Awesome job guys
Dude this is artwork !!! Sick!!
This car looks like something I'd drive in Cyberpunk 2077. Awesome build!
Dope build Bandito type shit🔥🔥🔥💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿💪🏿
Access is spelled wrong.
When I saw this video dropped everything to watch it 🎉
One of my favorite cars in a long time I love all the information you’re giving us I do just wanna see this thing drive, so can you give us a driving video before we go 12 more videos without seeing it?
Man I love how this interior came out.
I can't wait to see the first drive, since I'm in DC I completely understand
That thing looks like maximum fun.

I absolutely love this build.
Looks sick boys!!
Just in time for the weekend😍
Y’all just cost me 1700 in fiberglast stuff, thanks a lot
Love how cyberpunk this car is. Been so much fun watching the build.
Nice work gents
I learned to drive in a 240Z it's by far in my opinion the most nimble and street attacking vehicle. The ev version has to be a damn monster 😂🎉❤
Modern twist on legacy
For the RFID chip, look at Aaron Cake's Cosmo project. He did something I'm sure you could replicate. Even implanting the chip in your hand....
Looks amazing. I can believe a lot of work went into this car. You should get Jeweler to make you a carbon ring to wear on your hand with the RF chip inbedded. No need to carry car keys then. 😎
He did that but apparently his rf sensor won't pick up any chips not made by them
Theres always a way. If you can read and replicate the manufacturers RF hz for that reader he should be able to put it into a ring. Buy a flipper zero and use that 😅
fellow tall guy sheds tear for will
Make a carbon luggage piece to go in the back to match. Even have the liner match with the black suede and blue stitching
Who makes the AC vents? Looks great.
Get that car out that shop !
Please can we get some driving videos of the og car ? Does it still run?
3:44 just note that wireless charging needs something that is not conductive, carbon fibre conducts electricity pretty well so I'm unsure if that will work so well (though I'm guessing you might be removing that piece of carbon fibre when you put in the wireless charging pad).
carbon fiber and wrap genius I'm ready for IMSA
This car should be in cyberpunk!
Could mount the GPS antenna to the back of the rear view mirror if you end up running one.
Bro the random screams. Every time I'm dying
You should make a carbon suitcase for the trunk.
Is the body kit going to be for sale?
id really like to know what software you designed the body in ?
Hi, from which Brand are the Air Vents? Thanks!
How much total weight did you save with all the carbon fiber?
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Can you/ will you, line the inside of the doors with insulation so they have that dampened, solid sound when you close them?
Would be good to see the unlock chip in between some carbon, credit card size, easy to fit in your wallet, and it’s (tap and go) to drive
badass
Dood. That checkerboard carbon in the center dash. Fucking hell. Man, that is sick as hell.
Cracks me up that someone would want A/C but not heat. Heat is an absolute necessity IMO, but I rip the A/C out of my cars because it's heavy and almost never needed in SF.
💯
when is it going to drive I'm dying to see it 😭
Will looks like the angles from legion

I have some door panels I have been sitting on that would look killer in your EV Z. I have picture of them if you would like to see them.
The word access is spelled wrong on the passenger side door sticker. Possibly others as well, but that's the one I caught.
Oh im early early today hell yeah
Gives the Cyberpunk 2077 vibes.
Since you used the aem system, do you think it would work with a motec dash? I prefer the look of the motec over aem dash.
they misspelled "access" :c
Mitsutani shion iykyk
🤩🤩🤩
6:50 um, you spelled access wrong
If you ever want heat you could just mount a small 12v heater in the cab
Just for reference, how tall is Will?
👍🏼👍🏼
Check out dangerous things, they produce RFID implants, but they also produce electric locks for vehicles with an RFID chip.
put the nfc chip key into a pop socket that is detachable on your phone because your always going to have that on you
this car needs matching carbon and blue luggage for strapping in the trunk.
Be super fricken careful with that RFID reader, cloning can be done quite easily
Suede is made of lambskin whereas Alcantara is synthetic (68% polyester + 32% polyurethane). So not the same, but looks and feels similar.
Nobody gonna point out "acess"?
Lost the extra C in access to save weight?
I personally hate EVs...
But your car looks absolutely amazing.
Yalls spelled access wrong
suede is the "gloss phone" of interior fabrics... can see every finger print. constantly wiping it. and did they spell access wrong on purpose? lol
Definitely a spelling mistake. I don't even think it's one of the words that has an American and European spelling
"Acess+" = "No Ragrets"? (Sorry, had to do it) 🙈
I would say it’s ok for drag race with a parachute or two .. other that that no .
The Cyberpunk fans gonna flock😭
i hate to be that guy but that stitching looks bad its not straight, single line looks cheap... and it looks like suede, not even alacantara. Which is fine but its impossibe to keep clean, The texture shows imperfections much easiers. Its basically why alacantara was invented for luxury cars.
It is a 70s 240z, missed opportunity to call it the Lega-Z or 24-EV
If you need a solidworks designer, that specializes in structural, 3d scanning, and 3d printing, let me know.
Did you lose points in the awards for spelling mistakes on the door? Haha
Need a carbon fiber box tied down in the back to carry shoes, race suit, and helmet, with a clear lid.
Interior is lacking... Alcantara vomitted over EVERYTHING 🤮
I think the access + sticker is spelt wrong
"Access" is spelled wrong. 😩🤦♂
That stitching on the upholstery is weak.
