    I build PCs for fun as a hobby and the number of case fans and the fan quality included in the price of the case is a big factor in my purchase decision. Glad that you call out those details for our consideration.

      Its not a bad showing.But, the Lancool 3 Is at this things discounted price(lancool 3 $140) There you also get 4 decent 140mm fans, and just a lot more it seems for the money.

      I want to build a PC on a tight budget, what parts need to be sacrificed at the lowest cost? I'm considering saving the budget on the PC case. Does buying a cheap PC case affect performance significantly?

    Greg, I appreciate how honest you are about your sponsorship and still are honest enough without being rude or disrespectful to Be Quiet!. I also really like the case, but wish it included a few more fans for the price. Great video and a great build to showcase the functionality of the case.

    Greg, I want to thank you for your videos. You fix or flop series has been immensely valuable knowledge to us all. Yesterday, my brother's PC made a loud popping noise when he turned it on, and we immediately suspected the PSU. It was thanks to your videos that we were able to trouble shoot by testing other components to see that the PSU was bad, and if it took anything with it. Luckily, it was just the PSU and we replaced it, but your videos gave us the confidence to troubleshoot and fix our problem without having to take it to a shop. Your channel is top notch dude, thank you seriously for all you do!

    A good computer case will stay with you for two to three builds. There is plenty of space in it, put a nice huge fan in the exhaust in the back for a nice 13/14th gen EATX board. The only thing I would have different is the shroud in the bottom, make the glass go down like 2/3 and the rest shroud. But that is me...

  • @GMCecil4
    @GMCecil4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    When you build a PC I think you should use all the slots it has to see if it has a good layout.
    i bought The 500dx and used every fan slot and hdd/ssd slot and it isn't a well thought out case it doesn't have the room for all the wires. Took me hours to get it neat enough to just fit everything. Now I tend to see if there are reviews on using the cases full capabilities vs just a quick build like you did, it tells the how the case truly is vs just a few parts.
    I think builds like this do a disservice to the customers since what happens if I want to upgrade later and add more stuff does it fit well? Or not?
    I think you should consider starting case reviews like you did here then adding more stuff to see how the case holds up.

  • @stacyromanchuk
    @stacyromanchuk ปีที่แล้ว

    Props (as always) for not calling it a review as to what you deem a conflict of interest. We all appreciate the transparency as it is lacking in our world today. I have a Corsair 400D which seems to do much of the same but at a lower price point. However, BeQuiet, once my wallet is ready, I'm coming for you.

    I built a be quiet build , i used the DX case with seven 140mm fans and a be quite AIO , not once have i heard any fan noise outta this build under normal gaming conditions. now if I lanunch cinebench and put my cpu under full load my cpu would only hit 74 c and i cud bearly hear the fans running , i would total recommend be quite products for cooling solutions

  • @annettesurfer
    @annettesurfer ปีที่แล้ว

    I suspect the airflow balance may be a bit off because the 3 front intake fans are restricted by the AIO radiator, meaning the 3 upper exhaust fans will probably pull from an unfiltered opening.

    i think the price is justify...you get a really good i/o (place in the front of the case which i prefer) with front and top vent support 3x140mm fan and rear 1x140mm fan...and the fans that it come with is not a cheap fan, it is be quiet own product fan...have a lot of clearances with tons of feature that not a lot of other cases have in the same price range

    I will say, even though it is a chunky case, there is so much room for activities inside of it. Great video sir.

  • @djGLCKR
    @djGLCKR ปีที่แล้ว

    The extra space inside is the main reason I modded my Cooler Master Centurion 590 and removed the 5.25" rack (NINE 5.25" slots) and added a custom-made bracket to the front, so I could install 3x 120mm fans (late 00's case, so many of the common "modern" features weren't there in that specific case. They were added in the next Centurion iteration and with the H.A.F. lineup).
    Plenty of room to install a LARGE graphics card (up to 450mm and with some extra room), and enough clearance for a 160mm CPU air cooler. Sure, no PSU basement, subpar cable routing (there is _some_ room for cable management, but it's not the best), but it does the job after some "minimal" modding.

    One relatively small but meaningful (for me) thing I'd like to know about cases when they're shown is how is the power button. Perhaps it is silly but I like a good power button that makes a sound when you push it in and you do have to push it in hopefully because I remember having a case that had this flimsy power button that made a limp "clack" -sound and didn't go down at all when you pushed it. So unsatisfying to power on and having to relive that disappointment everyday for years gave me a deep appreciation for a good power button.
