Many thanks - Thanks to you I have successfully completed a i9 build in a shadow 800 case - My only criticism of this case is space for hard drives - Be Quiet should have provided with hard drive cases at the bottom section - Other than that everything is 5 stars
    Most grateful !!!

First of all gratz for the amazing video and the detailed information in it. In about 6 days i am going to build a similar setup in the same case and your video really covered any part of my build.

the black version doesn't seem to have the front io cables all bundled into one like yours, at least mine doesn't. confusing

Thanks for providing this in depth video, I just unboxed my DX800 and was struggling to comprehend what the USBC and Sata cables were for, as they are not mentioned in my manual.

thank you @ChristopherFlannigan for the detailed guide, it's really helpful. I have an issue that 800 FX fans, light, and audio from the front panel don't work. I don't see fans even in BIOS. ON/OFF button works well. Do you know what should I fix or maybe have some suggestions?

Hi, Im not sure if anybody will see this who is able to help. Can somebody explain these 5 or 6 different types of USB-C headers on motherboards? my current board doesnt have any but its failing. thought i cold upgrade so i can finally plug in the usb-c port. what kind of header fo i need to look for?

  • @Daisudori

Is the psu tunnel on this case plastic or steel? It looks plastic in pictures but I kinda refuse to believe that on a 160-210 eur case depending on the version.
also this or the silent base 802?

    Hey! Great video!
I just had a quick question about the IO. I have purchased this exact case, and am now looking for a motherboard. On your video, you only plug in one plug for the 2x USB 3.2 gen 1 (A) ports and one plug for the 1x USB 3.2 gen 2 (C) port. Looking at the motherboard you used on PCPartPicker, it shows it as having 2x USB 3.2 gen 1 header , and 1x USB 3.2 gen 2X2 header. My question is which headers did you need to plug in the front IO? Were both the 3.2 gen 1 (A) ports combined into a single cable oand plugged into a single USB 3.2 gen 1 header? And was the USB C header in the USB Gen 2X2, or can it also go in a regular USB Gen 2 (C)? Sorry if I have phrased this poorly, many numbers haha.

Tell me please! If I install Be quiet Silent Wings Pro 4 140mm fans instead of the ones on the case, will they be quieter and more efficient (CFM) at the same speed? I will be very grateful for your answer!

You could be more generous with your thermal paste. Surprised you didn't use the X method. It's proven to work extremely well.

Thx for all your work, I really enjoy watching these builds and learning. I feel confident now to do one for myself. I'm going with a Phanteks G300A, because I love how small it is and it still fits an ATX motherboard. It works well too if your just using M.2 drives. I'm also going with the AMD 7600 CPU and a ASUS 7800XT for the graphics card as I'm building with 1440P performance in view.

its thermal throttling because you don't know what your doing, let me guess, your pumping 350w+ into a cpu that doesnt need any more than 280w
