My advice for a happy 2023: Spend regular time with loved ones, engage in activities that bring you joy, extend a helping hand (as much as possible) to those in need.
Love people around you, love people who are different from you AND love yourself 🕊
Happy New Year Rinpoche, your message is so very helpful! I am currently struggling with panic and anxiety. I look around me and see the suffering of sentient beings. I am not calm or at peace. I can’t change the world but I can help in my small way. I can teach English to new immigrants who need better language skills for work. I can help people learn to swim. I can open doors for those without arms. I can give food and clothing to the homeless. I can send out with my breath my love and compassion.
By doing such things, I will make my world, someone else’s word, our world, a slightly better place than it was before. 🙏🙏🌷🌷
I am an emphatic as well and just had to loose my job because of panic and anxiety
Right now, I am taking this healing period to help others and do volunteering work 💓

Dear Rinpoche. Your explanations about awareness has skyrocket my meditations. It sounds "easy" - awareness - its not. For years I thought I knew - I dint. I watched your videoes again and again untill the penny dropped. Im really very gratefull for your guidence - it has meant a world of diffenrence.
So what's the final amswer how do I find myself?

What I admire most about Rinpoche is that he had the courage and determination,( despite living a relatively posh life, with title and status,) to abandoned it all to follow in the footsteps of the Buddha. Becoming a wondering mendicant, poverty stricken and almost dying in the process!! The result was deeper realizations and a deeply inspiring adventure of discovery!!
All documented in his book and video documentary. Amazing.
A remarkable and compassionate human being. The world would be a better place if we had more Mingyur Rinpoche's!!

My body hates me. I can't appreciate it. I have severe psoriasis so I'm antagonised all day by itching and flaky skin. I have cerebral palsy so I'm limited in my movements and I suffer from severe heartburn and gut issues. I don't think some bodies are cut out for this life and no amount of meditation is going to help
