    Unwholesome speeches
    1.Stay away from lying(Live a truthful life)
2.Not to use Divisive speech i.e to create drama behind others back
3.Stay away from harsh truth ( words out of anger, putting other down )
4.Stay away from idle chatter (set your boundaries)(use meaningful words)
Remember:Words we speak can create +ve or -ve krma impact on our lives.
    Thank you

They who have ears to hear, let them hear:
Through the Holy Spirit, God has put it on me to preach to those lost in the devil's deceit!
I tell ye, truly, Jesus of Nazareth is the propitiation for the whole world's sins. He is the anointed one, for he is, Jesus Christ. God the Father has raised him from the dead; who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God! Angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life: no one comes to the Father, but by him. They who believe and are baptized with the Holy Spirit shall be saved; but they who believe not shall be damned. For they who believe not on him, shall die in their sins!
I tell ye now to repent of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, and you'll receive the gift of the Holy Spirit upon asking the Father!
There are *NO* sub-divisions of Christianity. You're either a disciple of Christ or not. A Christian is someone who follows God's word, not a religion. Who obey the Father and follow his will; not man's nor their own heart's. Unless you keep Jesus' commandments, think not the Holy Spirit will dwell within you!
They who heed this message and did what was stated with an open heart to God...
Read the Holy Bible (KJV) daily and every time before you read, pray to the Father and ask:
"Lord I ask that you give me understanding of your word, that I interpret it the way you want me to, and none of my own. I ask you in Jesus' name, amen."
      1 John 2:2 KJV
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
      Acts 13:26-33 KJV
26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, *and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.*
27 *For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.*
28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
29 *And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a sepulchre.*
30 *But God raised him from the dead:*
31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
32 *And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,*
33 God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee.
      1 Peter 3:22 KJV
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
      John 14:6 KJV
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
      Mark 16:16 KJV
16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
      John 8:24 KJV
24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your sins.
      Acts 2:38 KJV
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
      Luke 11:13 KJV
13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?
      John 14:21-24 KJV
21 *He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.*
22 Judas saith unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that thou wilt manifest thyself unto us, and not unto the world?
23 Jesus answered and said unto him, *If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.*
24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and *the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.*

Despite not being a Buddhist I appreciate the way buddhism is taught compared to other types of religious thoughts. It’s never “you have to live like this because otherwise you’ll burn in hell or otherwise” it presents a way of life that one should live but gives actual reasoning behind it.

    • @anjaoldnettle2841
      @anjaoldnettle2841 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +7

Yes, but all religions share the same truths. As a Christian you shall not lie, lies can really hurt others and can be compared with up to killing others. You shall not say useless things all the time. You shall make peace among others. God loves the peace makers.
There is threatening in Buddhism, you are risking to have a bad Karma and to suffer for what you do wrong. Everything you do, good of bad comes back to you.
This is my opinion and how I understand things.
This is why people of all religions listen here, no religion is offended within its teachings.

I’m Catholic, but I grew up in a family with many Buddhist members as well. I find many Buddhist teachings coincide with Catholic teachings if we pay attention. Just like when he says, do not participate in divisive speech. Are we not called to be peacemakers? It’s the same thing. The call to be a good human being, and to be kind to others is a commonality between Buddhism and Catholicism. I am Catholic, but I certainly can agree with many Buddhist teachings. I am called to love, therefore, I love the Buddhist people the same as all others.

@@brenton2561 The oldest form of buddhist tradition is absolutely clear against violence. And even more so than in Christianity, in Buddhism the ban on killing is also extended to animals and there is a further call to refrain from professions that cause suffering to other living beings, such as hunters, fishermen or soldiers.
Countries who are buddhist countries of course nevertheless are always peaceful.
But Jesus says already being angry is a sin, he is absolutely against violence, Buddha also already condemns anger.

Thanks for reminding us the truths of life. I am a Hindu by birth. Having studied for 17 years under christian institutions, having a bunch of close friends belonging to both faiths, Buddhist teachings always attracted me. I remember sticking in my bookshelf a few teachings of Buddha while just 4 th grade, eight years old,I had become a laugh stock among my family members.
But at the present situation of world, everywhere, especially India, these are of great relevance. After all Buddhism has emerged in 6 th century B. C. as an answer to the social turmoil and unrest which people faced.

He talks about 3 important points that you should keep under control with yourself; Anger, Sex and Greed. OSHO talk about staying in your Circle. If you feel like you sometimes end up out of your circle, it's nice to read about it. By the way, OSHO says you have no identity. So if you say you are Christian, Muslim, Buddhist etc. that is an assumption. You act accordingly; the "inside" can operate very differently. The road to Enlightenment can take a lifetime. I don't believe in any gods or supernatural beings. However, what Buddhism teaches is directly relevant to our daily lives. I see the wisdom in all these teachings and can follow these ideas without needing to give myself over to some sky god or religion built on supernatural stories. 👍

It's really interesting how something as innocuous as 'idle chatter' is also considered harmful in the long run and I really appreciate how this is pointed out. For some weird reason, this colleague of mine like to fill the silence up with his meaningless words and I have always found that really annoying because it clutters up my mind. But it's really interesting that this is already recorded in the teachings of Buddhism wayyy before my time.
Thank you for this timeless sharing.

      Be it known:

As someone with ADHD I went through different phases in my life that were ruled by these speeches. When I was a teen I was a huge liar, when I was in my early 20's I kept complaining and gossiping about everything, in my late 20's I was so full of myself I could only criticize others and not look at myself. No in my 30's I realize all this and worked a lot internally to silence those voices but still, the ADHD brain never stops and I'm now struggling to simply stay quiet. To not impulsively say the first thing that comes to my head. To feel inner pain when sitting in silence.
    I want to change that.

This is true and beautiful. I think these three principles could guide us to become a good, enlightened person. But reality has many facets. You have evil people at your workplace or even in your family. When a relationship goes through difficult times, when a partner is lying and disrespecting you, when you want the relationship to work and don't bring it up that you don't like his attitude, then, this pent up energy finally explodes. How do you react in such a situation? The truth can be harsh sometimes but in order to make a change you have to draw boundaries. These Buddhist teachings are wonderful but they work best in an idealistic world.

🙏Thanks for those words and teachings! Sometimes I think it's a little difficult to remember the teachings in some situations, specially if I have read it. It is like words trickling down a filter, some words are passing down all the way through and some gets stuck in the middle of the filter. But your spoken words flow and your teachings of Buddhas words are much more present in mind. And it is much easier to remember your advices. It is like of a good friend tells us to stay away from bad things...thoughts...speech, etc.
