Hi 👋. I really enjoyed watching your video.
Beautiful walk, specially after Christmas 😉. Nice view ,fresh air and a lot of birch trees around with I like it 👍.

      Hi 👋
Thanks, Natalia, it really is a lovely place to go for a walk. 😃
The silver birch looked really beautiful against the dull sky... without the leaves, you can really appreciate the silver bark.
      Glad you enjoyed it 😀
Have a great week ahead ❤️

Hi to you both. Thank you for sharing your walk. We've done the same ,put too many layers on and been too warm. Looks lovely there. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. Best wishes Dave and Dawn ❤️

Thank you. Yes, I definitely had too many layers, I was unzipping what I could to let airflow in 😅 This is one of our favourite go-to places, it's so lovely throughout the seasons. Hope you both have a lovely weekend too, 😊

Thanks, Rob. Haha... yes, you'd never be found! That house was amazing! There are two other houses that we find that are well hidden in the woods. One is a tad scary as, one year, we found bones hanging in the trees!! 😲 Didn't fancy knocking on the door for a cuppa!! 🤣

Kraken🤣...Thought you were doing one of my vids for a sec, or is Robert still under the influence of Christmas Cheer ?😂...Beautiful walk you two...I need a new camera cos mine does not seem to pick up the lovely colours as it once did but it is over 10 years old now...Still cold here and got my woolly hat on now typing...Barb bought me a body warmer for Xmas that heats up with a battery and by heck it gets me warm when I'm out, only trouble is the battery only lasts an hour or two...getting soft in my old age🙂...Alien Horses😮...Now I know you are copying my channel🤣🤣...The Forestry folk have been clearing a lot of trees in the Goyt Valley and beyond here because of disease and it looks an eyesore but suppose it has to be done...The Drone reports have been solved...its you and Robert losing control of yours 👍...my friend would be in heaven there cos he drinks the sap from Silver Birch at springtime...he gave me some last year but sticking to my beer cos its bloody horrible stuff...You are not fooling me trying to create another myth about strange monsters living in that pool you were paddling in...Must get copyright on my vids😉...There yougo again at the end referring to eeriness at the end similar to the Blair Witch Project and Timeslips with the Happy New Year...By the way all the very best to you and Robert for 2025 and just to say I totally enjoyed your vid...Cheers Les.🙂👍

Hahaha, that made me giggle! Don't know what influence he was under but couldn't be Christmas cheer as he doesn't have much of that! 😂 We use to have one of those heated gillets for under our motorbike jackets, they are good but as you say, the batteries don't last long. 😂 I was panicking when the drone went AWOL!!! Not a cheap piece of equipment, Robert would've lost what cheer he had that's for sure! 😅 I wish I'd videoed pushing through all that gorse! And the scratches we had - the spikes went right through our trousers! 😮 Well, I did tell you my movie genre was horror... I wanted to walk through that tunnel but Robert had carried on walking - I was too scared to do it by myself 😂 I don't think I'd fancy drinking tree sap! Like you, I'll stick to a beer! Thanks Les! Have a good evening 😊

@@bumblejennybee88 I made the mistake of watching the Blair Witch Project after a ten-hour hike. In retrospect it probably enhanced the experience. I had planned to watch it in the theater, but when it came out the usher told me pistols were no longer allowed in the cinema (perhaps some other attendee at a horror film had had a bad reaction), so I ended up renting it at a video store (this was back in 1999) after the only time I succeeded in climbing Humphrey's Peak in winter. After the climb I had to face a 150 mile drive back to Phoenix so I fortified myself with caffeine, and that's probably why I was up so late and decided to watch it right afterward.

@kevinwalsh1619 Wow, 10 hour hike and then a 150 mike drive! You must've needed pretty strong caffeine!! I watch a lot of horror movies, it's surprising I walk through any eerie woods! Haha I probably wouldn't on my own!
