Hey, Guys! Thank you SO much for the support on the channel. I am currently testing out different editing styles to see what does best and what people like more over the coming weeks! Any feedback would be appreciated. I want to make sure to not cut out too much of the gameplay, but add captions and some zooms on the reactions. Obviously, things will be tweaked for the better but any other suggestions would be helpful!
Lovin the gameplay man, you’re without a doubt one of, if not the most skilled infinite players right now and it’s been a blast to watch you play.
My feedback for the editing is to axe the captions entirely and reduce the amount of reaction zooms. I think a more laid back editing style fits your personality better, and what’s in this video is just distracting and loud. I feel like good editing enhances qualities of a streamer or content creator, and what we have here contradicts who you are as person if that makes sense. You have a huge ego and complain every time you die. Make an excuse as to why you die and when you get owned lift your head to compensate for that ego. Really questioning why you die like it’s impossible, ignore your deaths and blame your team. You’re operating off an automatic system, you’re hardly conscious.
add some EPIC sound effects? just an idea 😁
Personally, I like when it’s not over edited so this is a great start. A good graphic intro and like a transitionary outro with music I think would be good additions. Again, I love that you haven’t overdone it.
The subtitles need to go. If we want subtitles we can turn on subtitles. huge blue subtitles that we cant turn off suck. Youre not hard to hear and they're not....funny? I dont get what the intention is
honestly just seeing the gameplay without much editing looks pretty good i think your gameplay style is really entertaining already so you don’t need too much.
That is what I figured, not too much editing, just captions especially during scrim games since the comms get crazy and some zooms. Anything else?

Yeah I don't mind the occasional zoom in, but I'm not really feeling the captions. They don't add a lot.
@@guitarpope as someone who is playing ranked halo for the first time, I think the captions can be really insightful sometimes!
A running commentary of why you make the decisions you make would be so awesome. helping players to understand the map / spawn control and positioning in general would be great. Like the other comments here, mostly unedited games is ideal.

@@LucidTWW I think this style will do well with a broad audience, especially a younger demo who are new to the halo scene. Having the highlights up front is is good attention grabber. The subtitles could be dialed back a bit, and maybe a little more intentional about what words they’re spotlighting. The main draw is your gameplay so focus mainly on that!

@@DjangoMMA I keep seeing people say this and talk about "aim bots," but have you ever used a controller for this game? It's really freaking hard to be as accurate as guys like Lucid, Frosty, Snipedown, etc., especially with weapons like the commando. But sure, believe what you want to lol

@@LucidTWW that's one thing I'm noticing about the better halo players. I'm brand new to this scene and I'm trying to learn the movment. How do you do the faster longer slide @1:51? I heard you sprint off a ledge and hold crouch the instant your feet touch the floor but I could never get that working for me. Do you hold sprint and crouch the entire time your doing the slide or let go or how do u do it?
Gameplay is dope as always! The captions could maybe be a bit smaller and a bit less zooms to your reaction. Otherwise it’s smooth. Also, would be cool if you made a video on the movement mechanics. You seem to have the smoothest movement of all of the pros so far
Was wondering if you ever thought about doing a break down of your gameplay or scrim match would really like to understand how to read the maps better along with timing?Things like when to pull flags what routes you take along with when to play the ball,as someone along with many others who played cod and have taken a interest in the competitive Halo scene it'd be awesome to get the thought process of someone at the top of their game.

Hey appreciate the editing in this video (zoom-in reaction when you died was sometimes too frequent though tbh). Otherwise, really good, especially the highlight reel at the beginning. Lots of people have something they're good at, something worth sharing, but to make it work on youtube these days good editing is critical. I think this video is a step in the right direction. Would really like to see your channel grow as you've got the best gameplay by far right now.

In ranked you want your enemy to rage quit because no returns or reinforcements are permitted. Best way to do this is to focus on opponents who are doing exceptionally bad and don't allow them time to cool down - check those corners they might be hiding.

I just got placed diamond 1 on kbm and controller and while I struggle with the pistol on controller the AR is legitimately sooo much better on controller.

I love the captioning for certain things that you are saying. Personally think you should change the color of the text and outline tho, maybe make the font a bit smaller as well. Love the videos though and especially the editing on this video.

Watching your gameplay makes me realize I don't want to leave Diamond as a PC gamer in cross play. Imma just chill where I'm at cause I cannot compete with this level of play. I've only used a controller for 4 years now, and most of it is used for driving games and ARPG's. Shooters on controller is very difficult for me but you make it look so fluid and easy. Cheaters are wack I’ve played a few. Are you running solo every time? I seem to melt every time I play solo. As soon as I run w a team I get crushed. Anyways blessings man!
Same thing here.... Currently diamond 4, if I play solo I have a way easier time, I can kinda just chill get stoned and fun fucking most people up, but as soon as I party up with my friend who is also d4 I have to try my ass off just to go positive or just under positive. Seems like I'm more inconsistent when partying up, I'll get destroyed the first couple minutes then pull like a killing frenzy/running riot outta my ass just dumping on dudes then die and go back to being kinda dumped on.

I play mouse and keyboard and used to play Xbox just recently switched to pc and wish to convert fully and not use controller anymore any tips or advice for mouse and keyboard users would be lit
Note on the edit : I like the slow-mos but I think it's better to see them at real speed as well, adding the slowmo either before or after the real time would be perfect imo. The reason why is sometimes something is very impressive in real time and we want to see the slowmo, but if we only see the slowmo it doesn't look that impressive
You did this solo or teamed up with other players?
I saw somebody else ranked Onyx 2700 a few days ago. I played against this guy and he wasn't as good as I thought be. Another person who user tag is V Action V I think is ranked Onyx 2500 or so. He actually has a losing record. These guys are really good at padding their kill count but they aren't really good at winning games.

Lol I'm a straight noob compared to Lucid. I love using the grapple hook on that lvl but never knew it could be used LIKE THAT. He's flying through the level with that thing lol I'm going back to this vid to catch all the spots he traversed this lvl from.
Love how at 5:07 after he says "Where did my rockets guy just go?" He switches to his teammate with the rocket launcher in time to see the projectile clip through the ground and do nothing to an otherwise perfect double kill. Weird shit...
As a MNK player i have so much fun without crossplay. Aim assist fights are so frustrating.
I placed easyli onyx without crossplay and the gameplay is so much faster but, guess what, you déserve your gunfight wins.
Vs aimassist its not even fun cuz not even fair .
My accuracy is always around 50-55% which is perfectly fine with a mouse. But not even enough against aim assist. Sadge

He plays 4 6 7, 1.5 15 3, 1.5 15 3 or sth. I found his aim too twitchy tbh.
15 max input is great for move stick though
