- This might be the new Halo Infinite world record kills in one Onyx ranked game! I dropped 74 kills in this halo infinite ranked game and won!
I honestly wasn't expecting to drop a game like this so soon after the last 72 kill I just posted a couple of days ago but here we are. Oddball Round 3's just hit different, hope you all enjoy and shoutout to Cursed for holding the ball and typing to me mid game, he's the real MVP. A lot of halo is about decision making/awareness. Gun skill is definitely a factor but not as much I believe as the latter. I can’t tell you how many times I’ll pop off one game and the very next not so much based off of getting caught out a bunch. Also I’m a grenade magnet 🤣
Yeah true my aim isn’t terrible at all, but I get smacked a lot cuz I’m not good with the positioning and movement yet
So true... I just stated to figure this game out. Be aware of where your teammates are and what path the enemy is taking. Put in shots but don't take any unnecessary battles. Be conservative and don't aim with the right stick in 1 v 1s.
Exactly I get 55% percent accuracy with the br on average which ain't bad but I still die due to my dumb decisions

@@DvGnaps707 Had this same situation happen. 54 kills and almost lose because teammates won't pick up the ball and let the slayer do his job, not to mention smoothbrain running AWAY from ball-carrier positions. I hate playing with this new generation of Halo kids lmao

I haven't touched Halo since 3/Reach, but Infinite is actually kind of pleasing to play and I'm already nearly Onyx on the MKB playlist, your vods are helping me push past my current ceiling.
Can someone explain to me why the movement of his opponents looks so smooth and the shots connect so solid? Like he's playing a LAN game. When I play it looks like everyone is jumping around in frames and they move like lightning makes it impossible to hit sometimes.

Yeah patience is super important, I'm sort of at a ceiling in diamond 5 MKB and when I stop trying to actively recognize my decisions or mistakes I end up tilting at my team.
I'm stuck at diamond 6, everytime I'm 1 win away, I take some nasty Ls and get knocked back down smh

Ranking systems biggest issue is that it adjusts skill before rank. Meaning they massively underestimate someones skill level, and give them a low rank; only to immediately start pairing them against higher ranks. I was placed G5 facing diamonds, and within 10 more games I was facing onyx level players, all while being low plat (by that point).
If you give me a rank of Gold, at least give me the satisfaction of stomping gold level players as I climb. Instead I'm always having to try hard while having to stare at an incredibly low rank compared to every other person in the game after a win.
The benefit of being placed low and facing diamond and onyx players, is that you won't lose that much rank for a loss (if any). That's the only benefit; if you're good enough, their going to very quickly force you into high elo matches regardless of rank. (I only play SOLO, so I'm not getting artificially outranked by a high elo friend playing with me)
In onyx now, it means almost nothing at this skill level. Pretty much it just means you aren't an ape, making ape plays and running directly into fire.

Can someone explain to me how he gained so much momentum on the slide at 3:13? It looks almost as if his first slide paused, but he kept momentum and immediatly slide again. Can someone please explain it to me? I'm genuinely curious
There’s certain slides you can do in this game that gives that boost or whatever , I honestly don’t know how to time it . But if you look up shyway, he’s posted videos showing it / lots of tips & tricks !
Yeah it's called a curb slide or a drop slide, if you slide off of a small ledge with the right timing you can get a big momentum boost the other reply here speaks the truth, shyway has a decent vid on it

I get wrecked so much in Halo. I try my best but seem to always lose every 2 out of 3 fights.
Its ok, man. Its probably not your fault most of the times. There are blatant desync and netcode issues in Infinite. I just roll with all the unfair deaths and keep grinding. If you dont want to do that, just kick back and have fun.
My 29 year old ass fought tooth and nail to reach diamond 1, trying to recapture my halo 3 days. After a few games of diamond I was thinking, "how is it even possible to hit Onyx I barely seem to rank up?" Well, after watching this god among children I don't think I ever will hit Onyx and that's A-OK. Sometimes people are just way, way better than you will ever hope to be XD.

Anyone know what field of view pros play on? Do they keep it default or what. I also understand a higher field of view, the worse for consoles right, since more on the screen so you'll have more input delay 🤔🤨
You got it wrong, I believe most pros play 90/100 fov. It can be worse for consoles as having more on the screen means lower FPS as there is more for the machine to render, you don’t get more input delay
I'm on XSX and I have mine set to 100. It feels near perfect. I can always adjust down to 95 if I feel like I'm getting sensory overload.
Most play on 105 because that's destiny's FOV setting

@@Deepestdrip Yeah I've been seeing anything from 90-105 is best. Max wouldn't be worth it because it makes the characters too small I believe.
What would you say is the best button layout to play for pvp? I am still used to the old school setup from halo 2-3 but i hear a lot about bumper jumper being the best.

If you can control it the beam is really lethal. I learnt that from the final couple of levels of the Halo Campaign where it was crucial lol.

5:10 is that some tech to get a weapon out faster after a melee? He swaps weapons real fast 2 times to get the beam back out quickly. Does it cancel the latter part of the melee animation like double weapon swapping did with the reload animation in earlier Halos?

I actually get annoyed when my teammate is just going for kills and not ever picking the ball up.
Can’t hold the ball if the whole enemy team is on top of you, if only one guy on a team is worth a damn at slaying then the other teammates need to recognize that and play their part, holding the ball, while the slayer keeps the enemy team on their respawn screens

The game feels like it has a grace for losing teams. Shots will start to not register, huds will glitch sometimes, you can get stuck and not move. Especially when jumping on objective like the flag or ball. I jumped on flag once and froze stiff. It is like being at the tractor pulls in halo infinite. No one can be too good at the game unless the other team gives up and has no skills. The pressure will just keep piling on. I noticed as long as you do better than your previous game and win you will rank super fast. So try not to kill so much because then youd have to pop off all games. 30+ with less than 10 deaths. Then you will have to do 40+ kills less than 10 deaths and so on. 1 kill 0 death win 2 kills 0 deaths win 3 kills 0 deaths win that's how you rank in halo infinite. Nothing else matters it feels.

My PC won’t let me get 144hz on this game which is so annoying. I got onyx on my set up. But I tried halo on my friends series x and won every game and got him D1 and on my friends pc I got him to

Glad I realize you play on console. I was wondering why am I dogwater with the BR is cause console guys have aim assist so I don't play crossplay anymore lol. I like my sensitivity above the reccomended but figure very low wil help with my aim. I get rid of the BR usually if there is an AR on the map.

They gave me plat 1 on cross and diamond 1 on controller. Got to diamond 4 on both and was paired with no teamwork and someone genuinely going half the game -100 score in diamond. Or 2-24 in slayer matches. Diamond consistently has people with no coms and poor decisions it is so annoying

I was onyx in swat and slayer in halo 5 so i expected to get it eventually but i havent played halo in 3 years and I am onyx after a week. I am 1000% worse today than i was then, def should not be onyx. A lot of the onyx players i play are also shitters.
Yeah it's a really stupid rank system. I got onyx in 3 days. Got placed in plat 5 so only had to grind like 7 ranks LOL and u don't even lose rank for losing most of the time. EZ. Wish we could just go back to the old rank systrm
@@alexstachura11 if you do well on the losing team you don’t lose rank. I think it’s based on your score compared to the scores of the lobby but roughly it’s top two fraggers in the losing team and bottom two fraggers in the winning team don’t gain or lose rank. That makes it really hard to lose rank if you’re playing people who are on average worse than you even if your team is worse.
