First of all: Lucid is an amazing Halo player, don't get me wrong. I'm an Onyx player that doesn't even come near his level, he'd probably score 100-10 in 1v1's with me
But I can see why he doesn't like to play Oddball often and almost loses this game. He plays it as if it's a slayer game, which is brilliant when the opponent has the ball but less then ideal when you're in control. On the one hand he makes it almost impossible for his opponent to win because his K/D ratio is through the roof but he adds hardly any value to his team score. He relies on team mates to hold the ball as he cleans up the enemies, which makes sense since he is the best player but when team mates also keep looking for the next kill, you're not scoring points. So even though he's playing amazingly, he limits his impact on the game by not holding the ball and scoring points for his team. He could pick up the ball for a few seconds when the enemy is regrouping or each time he wins a confrontation. Especially with his ability to win most 1v1's, switching between killing enemies and holding ball would have cut this game time in half probably. The key is to release the ball in time to be ready for the next encounter. Nothing more efficient to win these games than to hold ball, drop, win a fight and hold ball again. Always looking for opponents and the next kill can make you end up with 68 kills and still almost losing the game :)

There’s a bug where even if you win 2 out of 3 rounds, if they have more total time, they win. You should raise awareness of it. It’s absolutely stupid.
1st round: 100- 80
2nd round: 42 -100
3rd round: 100- 84
Total: 242 - 264 (They win even though they actually lost)
I think you are right on this, but what if that last Rd that's a tie breaker has special roles. Like how the NFLs over time rules are different

Dropped 40 kills in strongholds yesterday with 19 zone captures and we lost. Had two guys with 20-30 deaths and less than 10 kills and I'm diamond 6. Teammates in ranked are fucking brutal.

They really need to expand the head hitbox downwards by like a centimeter or so, a lot of those shock rifle shots look like they're hitting the upper neck while not registering as headshots.
I went down after dropping 9k damage and going 33-19 with decent ball time. the the next game i played my game crashed and i went from d4 to middle of d2...

I feel that I went 29-14 in SLAYER went from 1/4 of d6 to half of d5 from winning I got off last night and didn’t play today because onyx on MnK feels unobtainable for me hard to track strafes and movement need to get an adapter still for my pc.

I would say for a first time its good
I’m onyx 1650 and constantly play against full onyx teams while I’m left with diamonds. Yesterday I had 2 diamonds and the third guy was plat V. Brutal. And no I’m not just bad I go positive pretty much every game
They have to stop you some how!
Ive noticed this too. Pretty consistently playing full 1800-1900 onyx teams in solo/duo while im rocking low diamonds and plats. It doesnt make any sense
There's probably a hidden elo and yours is slightly higher than your current rank, it will stabilize with time
@@zilliq yea this is my assumption, its just weird how imbalanced the teams are. im sitting around 1560 and consistently getting matched against high rank teams with really low ranked teammates its just frustrating to play

Do you experience the horrible desync? Like I dont see how this is possible. I'll be 10 and 1 in some games and then end it 11 and 13 because after that first death it's like my shots melees and grenades wont register. I've died to what should be at the very least a trade (me punching clearly first) but it's just me that dies and in little spectate screen itll show the enemy healthbar completely out of health but his model isnt even cracked. This happens to me even on 20 ping. Doesnt make any sense
I have the same issue with zero health but they aren't dead. There seems to be a window if you melee far enough and early enough it will still count as a melee but wont kill them. Its even worse with sword because you are full and they are nearly dead but you both melee and they end up with zero health but not dead.
