  • Today we are looking at two potential replacements for my Hi-viz vivo shoes that you have probably seen in some of my previous Vivo videos. They are over 5 years old now and time for a fresh pair. But which ones? Let me know in the comments!

      I got the primus trail knit also and im in love with them. If you go running give them time to break beforehand.

    Thanks for the comparison. However, I would have appreciated a deeper dive into the difference in performances between the two (ie. how they differ in feeling when you are doing the same activities, whether it is hiking, or working out, etc.). The only difference you had mentioned was size, tongue, and laces, which are all frankly side by side comparisons, not actual performance.

    I have had primus trail FG knit for few days . so comfortable. Never felt so at ease when doing my day to day activities plus i use them for work . i still get aches on my feet. I know the more i wear them . the more beneficial they are for me.

      Depending on what you do for a job its not bad to wear a supportive and comfortable shoe. I wear my Knit FG vivos for day to day use because im moving around and not on my feet all day.

    I'd be interested how the sizing of these feel side by side. I've seen many comments about the knits being long and here other ppl say the regular fgs are short.. your experience. I definitely want one of these pairs.. Cheers

    Well, I’m sure you decided by now, but I just watching the video I would never pick the net I have always found out after a while that knit stretches a little bit and when you try to tighten up to shoot the lock yourself in it is all bunches up on you and it’s not a lot of fun

    i've tried both in a shop and both felt very comfortable. then i bought the knit. (i alredy have two other pairs of vivos).
    and i have blisters on my heels beacuse the foot slips inside. i didn't find (yet) a way to tie the laces so it will be both comfortable (not too tight) and cause my feet not to slip. i think it is beacuse of the like-a-sock construction.
    i'll give it a try for a few more days, and if it is not getting better maybe i'll try to switch (if the shop will agree, hopefully)

    Does anyone have a pair of Primus Lites as well as Trails? If so, do you have any experience with size differences between the Trails and the Primus?

    • @esternascimento6363
      @esternascimento6363 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I do have both of them and I did experience a size difference. My primus 3s fit like all my other vivo shoes and I’m usually a size 10 (41EU). My primus trail fgs run a lot smaller. To the point where I’d even size up a whole size in them because they were up against my toes so bad to the point where it would hurt if I bend my feet or crouched down or something. But I was worried about the size up being too big. I definitely feel a size difference though.

    • @SuperMajck

      @@esternascimento6363 can confirm this! Have both in 39 and the trail II fg is so much smaller I‘d size up next time

    Any recommendations for an alternative to these laces? I find them quite annoying, but am reluctant to replace them with 'proper' laces, in case it upsets the comfort, or fit (which is fantastic!)

      If you have a particular brand in mind then just look for one made from water repellent materials such as leather or faux leather. Vivo have plenty of choices along with many other brands.

    Pretty snide taking advantage of their amazing 100 day return policy like that. It’s for people who have never had a pair before and want to try them out. Not for someone to just test whatever pair they feel like. Basically you’re just wasting a pair of trainers. Typical of todays society.

    • @PhiyackYuh
      @PhiyackYuh ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Its the vivos policy. Its one of their marketing strategy to get consumers buy in. If people want to take advantage of it then so be it. Im sure if there’s some policy thats in your best interest you will do exactly the same thing.

      When they make shoes that fit differently from model to model, and only come in whole sizes; it’s kinda important to buy a shoe that fits when they are nearly $200. Throw in the fact that you can’t try them on almost anywhere…
