We can only hope, maybe we will get a Army so big to the point where GM sees, hopes and dreams, I don't expect it cus, well look at the 2019 comaro lol, that's reason eanuf.
2:10 "This is a very delicate operation." *Shoves the container forward with a loud screeching/grinding sound.* I must say though, I'm liking it so far. I've always thought that with some vehicles, you could potentially string a hammock INSIDE on the diagonal. This is even better.
Guys, it looks like you don’t have a lot of advice with hammock camping. One thing you need to keep in mind is that you’re entirely unprotected from insects. Also because you are suspended, you are much more vulnerable to wind and therefore will be much colder. That said I use an ENO hammock on all my long term hiking trips and it’s great
niether rain, sleet or snow...nothing can stop hitch hammock man! he always drinks enough beer to sleep through any weather conditions and provide ample entertainment when trying to get out in the morning...or better yet, take him for a drive on the interstate. lets see how hammock man does on the ike gauntlet
Whats interesting, out of all the research and professionals I've spoken to, they all say overland vehicles should be on AT rubber not MT's. AT's have a stronger sidewall, better over mixed terrain including sand.
Love it! More please! Now how can I at 6'2" completely stretch out in the back of my 1993 Explorer and 1999 Mitsubishi Montero? It's strange that there isn't as much length to the back of that hummer.
Just FYI the main issue with the front end isn’t the tie rods but that damn curved center link. Once it is replaced with a straight one you will never have to replace another tie rod
The hitch hammock idea is very good. But $650 for it, that is WAYYY excessive, yo can have half of the camping equipment for a "luxury camping" with that money, even with a couple hundred more you can have a roof tent with latter, mattress and privacy entry and sleep 2 to 3 people. Just need to go and do a smart shopping because some camping equipment can be way over price.
You guys should put a better exhaust and intake on it, and get it tuned for better mileage. See if it works? Seeing as Nathan pointed out how bad the fuel economy is in this. I love the hummer
i'll give you guys props for trying to build something useful out of a Hummer, but a proper overland vehicle needs these five things minimum; 1 a second battery 2 a winch 3 a weaco fridge 4 a retractable awning 5 a roof top tent
Loving the H2 do you guys plan on going with a winch eventually. Also im in Colorado n have a h3 alpha if you ever wanna do a comparison video I don't mind letting you borrow it.
C'mon folks, pony up some of that patreon money. These are the kind of video's we're going to get when Roman goes poor. The video would of been much funnier if Nathan tried to get in the hammock alone.
Do you even overland, bro? EVERYONE knows you can't overland without a thousand dollar roof rack and roof top tent! Sheesh, amateurs. j/k Like the cargo box idea better than a rack (I prefer my gear secure and DRY), as well as sleeping IN the vehicle. As far as that, I bet those rear seat bottoms come right out, giving you enough room to stretch out straight. All in all a great series, I look forward to more of the build!
Holy shit!! $700 for the hammock? I can just buy a hammock and some rope. Tie the hammock to the roof and the other side to a tree, $40. Or just put the hammock on the trees and still $40-50
That's right, I'm not looking at any accessories just the vehicle alone and the up keep and the cost of weekend trips I camp on average of twice a week its easily $150 a weekend 1 adult and 2 children and god forbid you break something on the rig.
LOL. After I posted this, got to thinking, my 80 series Lexus is a fat piggy too. Never scaled her, but with all the gear, Slee stuff I bet she's an easy 6k.
Well, threw rear departure angle out the window. Bet that hammock thing is going to rattle like a SOB. If you're going to endure the agony of sleeping in a hammock, all it takes is a tree and tie it back to one of the gay shackles on the H2 or between two trucks. And if you're going anywhere with that thing, there had better be a support/tow truck with anyway...
Why do people jump on key words these days, kinda a mellinial thing but yall look a little old. I could kill jeep for putting the word overland on jeeps again since it hasnt been said since willys. Every body wants to overland. I think its also called driving and thats what vehicles do. I dont get the hated thing either. Maybe if you drive it in Italy but i dont get it. Overland eh.
Jay Trock only by the jeep fanboys, primerely cus there jealous that there jeeps are worse, the H2 is hated due to it being a rebadged tohoe, (it's not!) Both are very good and underrated vehicles.
I think you guys are single handedly making people fall in love with the hummer again
We can only hope, maybe we will get a Army so big to the point where GM sees, hopes and dreams, I don't expect it cus, well look at the 2019 comaro lol, that's reason eanuf.
I love that it's the worlds most hated truck. Makes me want one even more...
Thats true
i dont hate it, i love it
"this is a very delicate operation"
*deafening sound of metal scraping against metal*
2:10 "This is a very delicate operation." *Shoves the container forward with a loud screeching/grinding sound.* I must say though, I'm liking it so far. I've always thought that with some vehicles, you could potentially string a hammock INSIDE on the diagonal. This is even better.
Great job guys I've always loved the H2

"Do I have to look at the directions?" Exactly what I was thinking.
Almost wishing I had a H2...... very cool hammock!
You two make a great due, loving this adventure.
Whats interesting, out of all the research and professionals I've spoken to, they all say overland vehicles should be on AT rubber not MT's. AT's have a stronger sidewall, better over mixed terrain including sand.
Awesome hammock, the hummer is looking good!
Am I the only one that thinks of the Skipper on Gilligans Island when Nathan got into the hammock? Some good one liners too. Very entertaining.
The more I watch Andre's h2 the more I want one
Love it! More please! Now how can I at 6'2" completely stretch out in the back of my 1993 Explorer and 1999 Mitsubishi Montero? It's strange that there isn't as much length to the back of that hummer.
Cringing noises at 2:13 lol. Good jobs guys, liking how the H2 is coming along.
Next, can you make upgrades to a Ford E350 1995 7.3?
Just FYI the main issue with the front end isn’t the tie rods but that damn curved center link. Once it is replaced with a straight one you will never have to replace another tie rod
When do you add the 8'-4" guy to get stuff in and out of that plastic storage coffin?
Perfect for napping on a long drive? This is highway safe right? 😉
I’ve been waiting for another H2 video
The truck is looking way better. I was wondering if you guys have a P.O Box. I want to send a OEM Hard Hummer Tire Cover matching it's colour.
Thank You. We'd love that. Please send us a note to ask@tfltruck.com and we'll send you our address.

Yes! In my area,650.oo will buy u a decent popup camper..put a lift on it and piss on that hammock stuff.😊
I would have preferred the roof rack over the MPG killer. Maybe an AUX fuel tank is in order?I been thinking if adding a "fuel transfer tank".
WOW GUYS, that was awesome!
You guys should put a better exhaust and intake on it, and get it tuned for better mileage. See if it works? Seeing as Nathan pointed out how bad the fuel economy is in this. I love the hummer
Fantastic only in US ;)
I would like to see H2 towing a trailer :)
Roberto Fradegradi yes
Roberto Fradegradi I have pulled 10000lbs with my h2
We have pulled over 5k with Our base H3, pulled better than our nissan.
HI
CAN YOU TELL ME WHAT IS THE PART NUMBER OF THE ROOF RACK CARGO BOX?
WHERE CAN I GET ONE?
THANKS
i'll give you guys props for trying to build something useful out of a Hummer, but a proper overland vehicle needs these five things minimum;
1 a second battery
2 a winch
3 a weaco fridge
4 a retractable awning

Nathan might be warming up after the hammock, HA
Bye bye departure angle
Watching you get in that hammock was the best part.lol
Loving the H2 do you guys plan on going with a winch eventually. Also im in Colorado n have a h3 alpha if you ever wanna do a comparison video I don't mind letting you borrow it.
You also have a front hitch right ?? Do one hammock in the back one in the front
That sux, I can easily lie down in the back of my Grand Caravan !
Tonight on top truck - Andrea plays with a box, nathan lies down...and that's all.
Patrick Rich and now I’m signing off and headed to amazon prime. Thanks for the reminder
Kaiserkase These guys should do a colab with the grand tour it would be epic and maybe add mike and Freiburger from roadkill too
TFL has to do an off-road Toyota FJ Cruiser at some point. I think they would make it pretty badass
Lol you guys should put a toilet hitch
Great video. Love it! Research on how to sleep in a hammock before you go out with it though.
My idea of camping is Holiday Inn Express.
That Hammock would make a nice human burrito for bears here in Alaska.
Nathan has Hummer envy as he calls it. He secretly loves them but acts like he hates it.
Hummer H2’s have two hitch receivers. One on the front two. That’s a two person vehicle. Lol
I'm more surprised it worked without tearing a hole and dropping them to the ground lol
C'mon folks, pony up some of that patreon money. These are the kind of video's we're going to get when Roman goes poor. The video would of been much funnier if Nathan tried to get in the hammock alone.

I'm going to go buy in H2 right now... I swear!!
When you get your hands on the new EV hummer. Please test towing milage @ full charge @ full payload.
Make sure to bring a huge barrel of gas along. That thing gets like 7 mpg
Viren vs actually 12mpg, just like just about any other overland truck, but even still barrels of fuel is a good idea.
okigojuryu 1979
You won't get anywhere close to 12mpg off roading with that old loaded h2. Trust me
The "world's most hated" truck is really getting overplayed here guys.
You also should have gone with a Gobi opposed to that torpedo on the top.
I feel like a better name would have been Baloo the H2. You know from Jungle Book.
Looking at the installation instructions was your first mistake.
Wow. People who actually aren't totally stupid in the comments hating on the hummer. I'm surprised
Not bad $650, and 300lbs limit. No roof top tent?
How about a new suspension? ICON? OME BP51? just saying...
Fuel mileage will suck even more too.
This project and that 'tail end' hammock are starting to make a lot of sense!
U need an additional gas tank. Or else this hummer has abysmal range.
a F****** hammick on a hummer! that's bad ass! are those available on the h3? good video!
Time to lose those side steps and gain some ground clearance...
I hope they have one for Honda Civic.
Anyone else waiting for the hammock to fall?
You saved me from mentioning the tie rods... er.. doh...
If i could i would put a 2016 6.2 engine in it. OR....a Duramax Diesel. And a digital dash.
Nice!
you guys will be spending more time in the gas station than spending night in the camp site with that car
anbu999 just as long as EVERY SINGLE OTHER SUV! At least with a V8, and your jeep with its pathetic 900 pound payload wouldn't do crap.
this the only automobile that has the most plastic parts
For the love of God can you stop calling it the most hated truck?
But it is the most hated. Liberals hate it and even truck guys hate it because they think it's a rebadged tahoe.
D T I hate that I love it!
I think I want one. My 2wd pickup ain’t cutting it anymore.
Agreed. It's a stereotype
@@headcas620 i am a gun toting,God fearing Democrat and I loved mine..generalize much, you Russian loving communist, traitorous Trumpanzee?
I love how there asking people to donate money to support them, looks like they need overlanding weekend money.
Wyatt Osman remember that at times they get free items from sponsors.
That's right, I'm not looking at any accessories just the vehicle alone and the up keep and the cost of weekend trips I camp on average of twice a week its easily $150 a weekend 1 adult and 2 children and god forbid you break something on the rig.
Wyatt Osman Who cares so long as they film it?
Torque wrench really?
I prefer quality over quantity.
Ha! Awesome. Goofballs. 🤣😊😉
only thing i don't like are the white letter on the outside.
I have a blow up doll! ha ha
wow
I hope you guys have a Land Cruiser recovery vehicle on call.
And it better have the factory front and rear lockers to pull that pig out.
Don Leamon Funniest thing I ever saw was a Samurai try to pull an H1 out of sand..looked like a flea bouncing on the end of a leash..
LOL. After I posted this, got to thinking, my 80 series Lexus is a fat piggy too. Never scaled her, but with all the gear, Slee stuff I bet she's an easy 6k.
Hah..I used to have an 80 series...they were pigs as well however they had super lockers which helped big time.
Привет! It was funny :)
If an old Wrangler is better ...
my love hummer💪💪💪👻👻👹😘😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
stop calling it the world most hated truck, it is not.
U guys serious ?an h2 as an over landing rig? Lol good luck with that , keep someone with a 4Runner on call
fortis619 4 runner is crap
That joke is getting old, older than the kid who made it.
okigojuryu 1979 what joke ?
fortis619 the one that states Hummers are bad.
Well, threw rear departure angle out the window. Bet that hammock thing is going to rattle like a SOB. Don Leamon *departure angle
Your wrong about the tow truck, this is a tow truck, and those "gay shackles" also come on jeeps, and have been very usefull, unlike your comments.
NWI - thanks, fixed.
really....more ways to spend money badly, video was great.
Why do people jump on key words these days, kinda a mellinial thing but yall look a little old. I could kill jeep for putting the word overland on jeeps again since it hasnt been said since willys. H2 was bad, but I thought the H3 is more hated.
Jay Trock only by the jeep fanboys, primerely cus there jealous that there jeeps are worse, the H2 is hated due to it being a rebadged tohoe, (it's not!) Both are very good and underrated vehicles.
Sleeping in a condom - no thanks. This is not an overlanding setup.
Woo first
what a waste of time and money when the usa falls i will have a new place to visit
Wow. Thanks for nothing.
Everything about this thing is idiotic.
