Very nice review, loved it! Thank you for showing how it folded up for storage and transport. That is key for me. I want to carry it in my car or RV for riding with my two rescued senior small dogs. They tire easily and after their long walk (short for me at 2 miles!) I can continue with my workout on bike and have them ride along. I was debating whether to get the Burley Bee child trailer which is on sale for $263 at REI currently or available online used for $100. This one is so pricey at $400 + tax = $440 yikes! But it is so nice. Love the rear entry option, kickstand, fold factor, yellow color, and sturdy build. They took the Nomad Cargo trailer and raised the roof to create this. I will buy one and add a roof rack for cargo. Thanks!!
Nice review, thanks! I bought a used Co-Pilot kid-carrier for $75 from my bike dealer's rental fleet...the new carriers are nice, but the premium they charge for the "dog versions" are a bit of a rip off. Gracie seems a bit big for that carrier, does she hold up on a longer ride? My 25# Rat Terrier fits nicely in ours and we've ridden 15 miles with him in it. We also put an older dog bed inside for comfort. The floors are slippery and somewhat hard...I think the dog bed relaxes him and gets him to sit, or lay down. I really like the bungee tie downs for the covers...as they have aged, the covers on ours shrank in length ~1" and will no longer fasten with the sewn-on Velcro fasteners.
Thanks for sharing! I realized that this trailer is for large dog breeds. I can feel the good quality of this trailer even watching the video! You've made a really good choice!
@@veganvocalist4782 I have 2 pet trailers for my dog due to extremely long delivery time of my first pet trailer. They are constantly out of stock, many popular brands
As you said "You get what you pay for", mine has seen service through 2 dogs and is now on it's 3rd, I also have a Burley Nomad from 2008-9 that's still going strong. My view in life is Buy cheap, buy twice & always get the best you can afford.
Looks like the upper bars would keep a large dog from sitting up straight…might make them hunch over? How do you think it would be for a male Golden Retriever?
Is there a trick to locking the top bars. I found it incredibly difficult to get it to snap in place and ended up with two fingers stuck between the locked bars which hurt like hell.
Nice review, thank you. We just thing about buing this wagon for our JRT for long distance trip. What does the wind and rain do with the roof top? Is the material waterproof? Thank you 😉
Thanks for the review! I was wondering: does it give much lateral movement during riding? Because I have a carbon bike and that material can break when the wrong kind of forces are applied to...
Not a lot of lateral movement. I would be concerned with a carbon bike because it would be pretty easy to damage I think. I would get a cheap bike for just rolling slow with they dog.
No!!! You have a $6000 carbon fiber bike, light and sleek as the wind and you want to use it like a tow truck? Absolutely NOT. Dude, enjoy your beautiful elegant bicycle by itself for riding. Now get the equivalent of a pickup truck utility vehicle in a sturdier bike, maybe with some electric motor boost, and attach your dog trailer to that. The advantage is that you can put thicker trail tires on the Bike #2 and use it for trail riding on unpaved flat roads with your doggie in back, maybe beach too. Two bikes are better than one. One bike cannot do everything.
I would not put my dog behind a bike without having a full mudguard/fender to protect the dog's eyes from road debris, sand, wood splinters, tree needles, etc.
@@MrGizmo211 it runs very smooth and light, just one thing not to forget, when you close the back, it is much safer to close the upper flap first and over it the down back flap, so the dog can not jump out. Mine was not attached inside and was closed otherwise, so one moment my dog just jumped out and was running besides me, luckily there was on traffic. So now he will be attached inside and flaps in the back closed on a safer way. For the rest very OK wagon. Also for shopping.
got mine used on facebook martketplace for $200; looks like it was used once. my dog loves it and it's by far the best trailer on the market. i know because i've had all the others.

Hi Gracie! Love the review. I too have an Aussie doodle, And my guy loves the wind in his face. This is a great product and great review. Thank you!
This video is the best one I've seen on Burley dog trailers... way better than even Burley's hahaha
Nice review, thanks!

She was a little tight in there. She loves to go though :)

Great review, very detailed. A little expensive, but with all the features you get what you pay for..

thanks i was looking for that plate which is a holder for burley, very nice video
i concern that the cart on these burleys is so close to the rear tire. ever had an issue with his eyes or face being so close?

I think this is too small for a Golden Retriever.
Great review. They are out of stock now, but it's on my wishlist.
Thank you for sharing
maria cheung you are welcome!
Yes I tried to but one but they are out of stock
Beautiful dog

It is waterproof :)
You know how I know you love your dog? $399 bike trailer, $98 department store bike.
Alex Flores that made me laugh - so true! That bike sucks. You can leave it anywhere and no one steals it!

Be aware that dust or water from rear wheel makes K9 uncomfortable. Mudguard on the rear wheel highly recommended.
Maybe that is a good idea?! However I don’t bike much thru mud or in the rain.

They are out of stock now , they are fantastic 😊🐾 your friend is very lovely
Thank you!!
Does this have tire suspension?
Nope - but it is pretty smooth
This was great review. Thx
Can you detach the part that attaches to the bike?
Leah Kantrowitz sure can. They make a front wheel if you want to just walk with it.
How much does Gracie weigh?
ECSchultz09 42lbs :)
Multiple tie downs useful for multiple pets.
This is a good idea thank you for this information
What kind of dog do you have?
Alexa Aussiedoodle :)
Excellent review !
Nice Review....TY !!!
Good review, and just bought one 😊

Ronny Op de Beeck yes! That is a good tip for people. I did the same thing - but Gracie is a baby and never leaves my side.
สุดยอด 👍
