I have been so looking forward to seeing this video drop of this Camino for you and Camilla. Your video is so full of the highs, lows and disappointment of Camilla, being able to experience what you did a couple years ago. So watching this I was able to fully understand what was happening at the beginning of this trip. I know it goes well because I expectantly watched all of the shorts that you shared as this trip was happening in June. I am looking forward to the coming videos and am sorry that Camilla was having foot/shoe problems from the beginning. But as always her infectious smile kept overshadowing anything that was negative. Thank you both for sharing your Caminos with us! Have fun celebrating the same Camino that you did together 10 years ago!
@@kellyjenkins3965 Hi 👋🏻 thanks so much for your kind words 🙏😃 wow, We appreciate you took time to write to us. 😃 yes, walking a Camino can sometimes be challenging but it has so many good moments too.
Looking forward to viewing your latest Camino! I will be following in your footsteps in four years after completing the Camino Portuguese two years from now. Warm Buen Camino greetings from Ohio.
Thank you for this video. I like watching your films because they are honest and real. You really capture your experience in a way that is practical but also spiritual and I'm looking forward to the rest of the journey if you decide to share it with us. I like that you write on your shoes too. I guess it helps finding the right ones in the morning :)
Hi, have been looking forward to your new vlog. I am glad you are continuing to make you tube videos. You are always calm with such a lovely demeanour that it makes it a joy to follow along
AND just like that your video takes me back to Casa Morgada where my two friends and I met you and Camilla after a lovely dinner and super nice chat. Thank you for bringing my camino memories back to life. i look forward to the rest of the series and really appreciate that this series is in English. i enjoy seeing the part of the camino that we did not do as we started at Foncebadon. most heartfellt greetings to kind Camilla
Hi Per Ola and Camilla, nice to see you back and the journey both on the camino and entertaining us continues! Watching the videos helped inspire us and we start our first on the 14/09 doing the Sarria > SdC section ( the one week holiday allowing ! ) . Like Camilla the shoes have been a big thing, and we pre-bought Poncho's to keep the rain away ! Here's hoping !
We noticed it was the first time you referred to Camila as your wife and if this is new, CONGRATULATIONS 🎊 🎉 In your video, you have reminded us of an important lesson; Each Camino is its own Camino. I need to make some changes to my expectations as I started to book next spring’s Camino (revisiting our already-visited albergues) to Muxia. Now I’m more skeptical and it’s unlikely that my next trip will be ANYTHING like my previous Camino. So I need to give myself the opportunity to experience new things. Not just the same places to stay, as it may open up the possibilities of disappointment. Thank you Perola and Camila. Looking forward for your next video. Tomorrow, we leave for our next Camino.
@@BrandonBradford Hello 👋🏻 Yes she is my wife now 💍, thanks for the congratulations. I hope you will have av fantastic Camino. Looking forward to hear from you after your Camino. 😃☀️
I just found your channel 3 or 4 days ago and finished watching your 2022 movies (parts 1-5) Then I found that you and your wife are back! I was listening to your commentary on part 1. You mentioned you didn't feel right in the first Albergue you stayed - the one you previously stayed and loved. I wonder if that's because you had not been walking and you just weren't in "pilgrim" mode yet. I understand that there were only 3 there and the emptiness it presented. Just wondering. Sometimes it's hard to revisit places because we go with an expectation and it might not be met resulting in disappointment. I'm really enjoying your vids and truly appreciate the time and effort you put into them. I'm looking forward to this new series you're sharing with us. Albeit late - Buen Camino!
@@jaynetabb6835 I think you "found" the reason. I probably had too high expectations and carried a picture of something I wanted to show and had told about. And suddenly the reality was something else. It happened several times during our hike. You know, the Camino, teaches us different things, maybe not what we expect to learn. This time I was taught not to have preconceived notions about people and things. 😃 I’m happy you like my videos 😃🙏👌🏼
