The Gibdo are all gloomed too!! I built a machine to fight Colgera, Gohma and Mucktorok. Was really fun. Flying machine against Colgera, a tank against Gohma and several mobile water auto turrets against Mucktorok. But the whole finale literally took me a day of playing. I died a lot (15 hearts, no armor upgrades) and only had like 2 gloom heals. Ganondorf himself kicked my ass for a long time.
I loved that intro for Phantom Ganondorf, but it reminds me at the same time that we could have had a Puppet Zelda fight like Twilight Princess and we were cheated out of that.
Why not both ? Half Zelda Half the 5 morguls kings we had. Nah , actually we mostly get robbed of a 6th dungeon wich is the Deku tree with a Totk reviseted Manhandla boss fight.

Can you fight Hyrule Castle Phantom Ganon without doing temples? I couldn’t find what I was supposed to do up too and just went to final fights instead. There were a handful of monsters up too but that’s it.

It’s also when all the Allies are revealed as Sages & come to aid Link as well as discovering their doubts on Zelda is cause of the puppet Ganondorf made. It’s actually unique that this boss only exists if you do the story (same with the Seized Construct). While Phantom Ganon can in a way be refought by quickly killing Gloom Hands, he isn’t as strong as the Apex one you fight in Hyrule Castle (or in the Depths of you going straight to Ganondorf before the reveal).
Oh shit, I didn't realize that both the Spirit Temple and Hyrule Castle bosses would be fought, too. Between this and the muuuuch more aggressive lead-up to Ganondorf, it's somehow even harder than BOTW.

I think he's using the Knight-tier weapons, which deal double damage when Link has one heart. Beyond that, it's just being really good with the game's mechanics. I have noticed that the game tends to be pretty generous with things like parrying and dodging, usually you're given a fair bit of leeway (can test this against a lynel).

If you notice during the final battle against draconified Ganon, the anomalies are gone. So defeating the for bosses probably removes their respective anomalies.

I didnt know that if you didnt get any of the sages at all while you finish ganons “welcome party” you have to fight their bosses (except mineru’s probably)
Nice work I just used puffshrooms and sneak striked everything when I fought his armies You can use ascend on gohma to get on top For muctorok, use two handed magic wand with opal and spin attack to wipe out all the muck For gibdo Queen, shoot a star fragment on the ground near you when the fibrous swarm, it makes a massive burst of light that lasts for 5 seconds. Like a mega dazzlefruit
You can spam dazzle fruit against Gibdo phase 2, works insanely well. For Mucktorok I made several water cannons on those sentry devices. It was hilarious, the water spray counters every move it has besides the beam, and eventually the sentries always tracked down Mucktorok and knocked him down. For Gohma I made a tank. Cannons do a smidge of damage, it was kinda fun just straight up fighting it with cannons. Colgera I made a flying machine. This took forever to get one that could properly hurt it, but it literally can’t harm you in the first phase on the ground. Was really fun! Ganondorf destroyed me though lol. Only 2 gloom heals and 8 armor. Very satisfying beating him.

Plus I would shoot the green mirrors in her temple instead of using the mirrors lol cleared that whole temple in minutes Mucktorok, I’m gonna try that lol sounds like fun watching it run like an idiot with a hydrant bot chasing it 😂. With the 2 handed opal wand spin, it makes a bunch of bouncing bibles fly out in every direction and they keep going. So it clears all the muck and hits him 8/10 times lol colgera, I didn’t know you can shoot the snowflakes, I kept diving through them after I would break his spikes lol so that made it a lot more hard.
Sorry for being a bit off-topic, but can the Seized Construct be rematched in the depths like the others? I've never come across that one. I kind of enjoyed the boxing ring setup.
I wish, I actually first fought it during this sequence because I missed Mineru and this was so much fun compared to the actual fight in the spirit temple
@@fanachy7861 i just don’t think it made sense with what happened though, like in botw it made sense that the blights were gone in the final fight because you beat them at their divine beasts, and they never showed up anywhere else. But the totk bosses respawn in the depths and show up at the end just to be thrown to the side by the sages if you beat them prior. I feel like since they still show up that you should get to fight them in the final stretch with the ashes as well. That’s just me though, I get if others feel differently.
Link is not the last line of defense. He IS the defense. Hyrule is completely helpless without their godtier hero, but Link is so goddamn unstoppable and untouchable that nothing can threaten him when he's in the hands of a sufficiently skilled player. All of Ganondorf's power is meaningless against a twink who has the power to kill gods.
@@phillipcraig1120 Think about it. In the path leading up to the temple, and at the temple itself, you had to do the same thing. You had to break the ice by landing on it.
You only have to fight the ones you didn't kill. For example if you finish Tulin's quest then a small cutscene will play showing him telling you he can do this and fighting the dude alone. I think you get a super special cutscene if you do all 5 sages and then just normal/default ones for all but the one you have to fight.
When I saw Zelda sacrifice herself my IMMEDIATE first thought was, "This is _entirely_ unnecessary. You dont have to do that." And then you come in with a regular ass bow and a lynel horn fused to rusted ass metal and prove me completely right 😭

That’s only if you want to get the true ending. They did the same thing with botw too. All you really need to complete the game is the hand runes and glider. Everything else is technically optional.

There are some advantages to doing this. For example, gohma won’t go on the ceiling in the second phase
But gohma is already really easy

I feel I should point this out, but... any contact with Colgera's weak point will deal damage. Simply flying up under it will work.
You can fly above it, too. It will shoot ice at you, exposing its weak spot for you to dive through.
