It does, I was just exploring the Depths & saw something huge then when I got a good view, I saw Colgera just flying there. I was shocked cause I didn’t know there were copies of the big bosses down in the depths. Honestly pretty awesome you can refight almost all the bosses.
The thing is I’m pretty sure there are 3-4 of each boss in the depths. I’ve fought nearly 4 Colgeras in the depths so far. I’ve uncovered every light root so I know.
Pretty sure each boss can spawn in different locations during various blood moon cycles, like it goes through a loop each blood moon (this is just what I get in my game, correct me I’m I’m wrong)
You can actually find multiple of each boss. I was intimidated when I found a second colgera in a different location about 10 minutes after fighting the first one

Ah yes. Queen Gibdo. The boss I beat the first with just 4 hearts and a single stamina wheel. In the depths. With gloom gibdos on the second phase. Damn.
While not a rematch there's also an alternate fight with the seized construct in the final dungeon should you skip the spirit temple. The dynamic of the fight changes a lot without the sage there to help you and no gloom pools covering the ground

Note, the bosses actually have multiple locations for each. ive found 2 Colgera locations. the one you were at further west in the unexplored area is where another one is.
Odd gripe but honestly wish the companions had their voices cuz after fighting colgera again it made me miss Tulin LIKE BRO it was so dam cool got me hyped up like crazy with this badass boss same with the others
You can also fight Colgera between Nikohsi lightroot and Sisustom lightroot at the bottom of the map almost directly beneath the Great Abandoned Central Mine
The amount of times I’ve walked through pitch black towards something, saw some gloom looking thing MOVE, then took out my telescope view thing to see what it was before moving, is so high 😂 most recent being “what. What’s that??? Oh. Uh. Gloom stone talus. Yeah no”
No the hell it would not! That fight is doable only because of the vows keeping the clones occupied and the large given space. This is a smaller space with more malice and you’re alone, no the hell it would not be cool. Only way its cool is if you like getting plinked to death by arrows while also trying to fend off the others.

I would still love more a boss rush, but i love that too, its just doesn't feel the safe when your not in the same place as you were, when you was fighting for the first time in the templew
Fun fact: there are 2 colgera spawns right across each other (the other is where the top hebra geoglphy is. Fun fact number 2: there are multiple spawns for The Mucktorok, Marbled Gomha, and Queen Gibdo.
Same here I was light weight scared cause I saw the ice dragon flying by and then some weird creepy ass crawly thing then the fight music happened I was like “fuck”. I was flying in the dark to keep it creepy (I ran out of light blooms lol).
A tip for fighting mucktorok: You can also use chuchu jellies (normal water) to clear out the shark and if you dont have a lot of them, the chuchus are pretty easy to kill
reusing bosses here makes sense bcause these are simply the apex predators of the depths that ganondorp put on the surface to mess with hyrule's armies, still i would have liked some variations/differences, or new moves or phase

Little tip for Mucktorok, any water based attacks work, including items If you've got enough chu jelly, you can just chuck it and that works just as well as Sidon

You know, you could’ve just use Riju’s lighting to remove the Gibdo nests. It would’ve made the Queen Gibdo boss in the depths a lot easier then you just having to use Riju’s lighting on Queen Gibdo most the time. And you could’ve use spear weapons to attack the Mucktorok while it’s in the sludge.
I just love nuking her and her army with ruby arrows, lol. It's because I went into the deep depths too soon before fighting any boss, to see what it down there, lol.
honestly, all the boss re-fights feel easier except for Mucktorok which I swear feels harder than the story mode one (not including The Depths being harder in general)
There's no difference unless the environment is different. Marbled Gohma for exemple have more free space, same with the others. Their technique is the same and you get a reward at the end.
I’m fairly new to TOTK with about 80 hours of gameplay and nobody told me that the temple bosses were in the depths 😂. I don’t many light roots activated so the depths is mostly dark in my game and I was trying to find the sea breeze boomerang. I was doing fine until I seen a huge beast flying around in the dark and I immediately knew it was Colgera but it was too late. I was in midair trying to get to a nearby light root and I tried to dive from the sky but Colgera was pulling me back up😂. I managed to break away from the wind and I smashed into the ground and died. On my second attempt I avoided the boss and made found the boomerang in complete darkness. 😊
For phantom ganon does he spawn with a different weapon every blood moon cuz I want to farm his spears cuz they look so cool with a silver lizalfos horn

I think they can spawn in different areas (seems each one has 3-4 possible spawn points). But you only get one per blood moon cycle.

I’ve see everyone fight Colgera the same way with arrows but the way I did it was to skydive into its crystals when it’s shooting it’s spikes
Same I didn't think regular arrows worked either only bomb arrows..so I wasted bomb flowers

Pikmin Bosses are usually jumpscares, they're usually undetectable from afar, not a great comparison.
I found that if you have trouble hitting colgera just fuse some eyeballs and they will track down tye weak spots
You can also use the wings, your arrows will fly straight through the air
And if you can hit it, fire chu chu gives a second hit after shattering the barrier due to its AOE attack. Have fun speedrunning colgera

1 being most easy and 5 being hardest

For mucktorock, apart from spraying the arena with sludge, he gets all his phase two attacks in phase one.

For Colgers your supposed to dive into its body from the top.
There is no "You're supposed" in BOTW and TOTK, Everything is a valid solutions, that's the point of the game.
