Fun fact: you can dead man Volley his projectiles he fires at you after he knocks out the other sage companions that arrive to help you.

to be honest, none of them was even slightly as powerful as Link Because most of them were "Peaceloving Cowards" and so they don't even fight at all.
Anyone else notice that while the four main races’ sages get distracted by phantoms, Mineru will always head straight for the real Ganondorf
I'm pretty sure she has her own phantoms as well, but I have noticed her seemingly attacking Ganondorf more often than the others. Makes sense since she'd have the biggest score to settle with him given how he murdered her and everyone she knew.
I like the idea of Ganondorf finally returning, expecting Hyrule to be helpless, and then immediately getting his butt handed to him by Link.
Actually, the helplessness of Hyrule works in their favor: Ganondorf is SO disappointed by how badly the kingdom has already been ravaged that he can't be BOTHERED to conquer it until Link comes barging into his new evil lair.
From Ganondorf's perspective, 7 secret stone wielders didn't stand a chance against him and the only possible threat to his rule was Link, whom he defeated in seconds immediately upon reawakening. He was sitting pretty the whole game thinking there was nothing left that could ever oppose him and he was free to reign over Hyrule however he wanted, but he didn't know of the existence of an ultimate Demon-slaying weapon that Zelda sacrificed herself to create and deliver to Link, and by combining that weapon's massive power with Link's skill, Ganondorf wouldn't know what hit him until it was too late.
Imagine if you got to fight Ganondorf in the intro and managed to defeat him, like that one fight in Devil May Cry.

The best example is them giving Ganondorf the equivalent of two healthbars as opposed to Calamity Ganon's 0.5.

Like I can't put enough emphasis on the fact that, that means they handled the respawned bosses. Only to come help link out. Amen.
For those of you struggling with perfect dodges, equip a shield and remember to try to dodge in the frames before your shield would get hit. Better to dodge late than early, because if you mess up the timing, you will just block the attack.
Ganondorf uses the same moveset as his phantoms, they all telegraph their attacks based on how you should dodge. When he holds his weapons wide, dodge backwards. When he holds his weapons overhead or preparing to thrust, dodge to the side.
Not shown in this video, but the magic attacks can be reflected with the master sword in phase three. watch for his bow, it always comes after you should do a spin attack.
All projectiles that Ganondorf throw can be deflected by the Master Sword, including the ones that he use with the club

When I first entered this fight I had about 3 hearts left and no gloom resistance food so I had to do this battle without getting hit and it was amazing

I just noticed something. This boss was like fighting Xemnas in KH2, but backwards. Xemnas starts with a dragon boss, then you fight his armored form, and finally you fight the man himself.
You're so right lol, I didn't even think of that. If you're interested, I have Xemnas and many other KH2 bosses no damaged as well
You can knock back his flying energy balls that follow you if you hit them with the sword
I realized that later on. I’ll probably redo this run since I want do it with the Archaic Set
@@KingdomKeyJT you should try it without doing any of the sages or having the master sword. makes the run much more challenging
@@chrisbonds9871 You cannot remove the sages on this fight sadly unless you go into the fight without doing any of the temples. But to give you good news, I am currently trying to go straight to the final boss without doing any temples, and doing the ENTIRE boss rush + the final boss without taking any damage.

My jaw literally stoped when I saw the health bar go beyond the limit when I fought him
mine dropped the moment he nuked the castle and completely obliterated it (though it was fine somehow)
Did you know that in Demon King Ganondorf phase 2, you can actually use the master sword to deflect his red projectile attacks? Looks like Dead Man’s Volley makes a glorious return!
I did know this haha. I didn't know at the time of this video though. If you're interested, I have a second version of this run where I deflect his red gloom attacks.
My first playthrough I finished him by doing a spin attack to reflect all the orbs he surrounded me with. It was so cool!
it took six sages being powered up by godly artifacts and rauru killing himself just to seal ganondorf meanwhile link soloed him virtually by himself (the other sages were knocked out by his blast)- leaving him on his own) and the man became so desperate that he had to do something he didn't have to in the past become a dragon (which was oddly easier than him in his human form)
This is such a satisfying fight to master the timings in. I didn't die on my first playthrough attempt but he clowned on me like crazy.
Ganon damn near broke my Hylian Shield. Pretty sure I wouldn't have made it without having 72 armor.

The first time I fought Ganon I went in with no broken heart recovery meals and ended up with 3 or 4 hearts by the end which included lost hearts from the way to ganon and the 4 waves of enemies
Dont worry..he clowned my ass too. The second go around was a bit easier. Still prepping for sword fight #3.
His Gloom attacks actually break any weapon or shield in two hits (one to badly damage, one to destroy) similar to how he decays all the weapons at the start of the game. The Master Sword is the only exception.

This is one of if not the single best final boss I've ever played in a video game. It has it all, from excellent buildup, to satisfying challenge, to climactic spectacle. It's kinda hilarious however how easy the Demon King Ganondorf fight becomes once you know his moves compared to the first time you fight him.
I somewhat wish Ganondorf had a little more depth though.
This just shows how skilled link is it is said that the gerudo are the most skilled fighters in Hyrule and link can just destroy the most skilled gerudo in hyrule with ease it’s crazy

That's what he does in his third phase. Every time he flurry rushes in that phase, he will ALWAYS attack instantly afterwards
