Light duty low budget guy here who learns many useful things about rigging and geometry. I may not use 'em all but the more stuff ya know the less stuff ya break. Thanks for your videos!
Tom sounds like he has tried many different ways of towing & this is the best, for this equipment.. Even though this trash truck is old, he uses ways to do the least amount of further damage.. Very professional.. I'd like to see a tow video where some damage was necessary..
Nice work guys ! We use the same principle pulling with a 750 Holmes . Many times one cable pulling high off the booms to put the " scotch blocks " in the ground and the second cable directly off the mast pulling at more of a low angle . Works every time !
I think they kept them on to make it harder so they could show more what the big wrecker can do. I think it helps with the demonstration to make it harder for the wrecker so you can show how to technically do hard to do recoveries. But i could be wrong.
I always wanted to ask you heavy guys why you milk every recovery like it;'s all happening in ultra slow motion compared to light towing & recovery work I can roll up on an auto rollover and in 20 minutes I'm gone car is loaded and i'm cleaned up ..Meanwhile you guys have your winches on snail speed

I really, really like this video. Love all the information he is giving out. so cool, so interesting.
Ron Pratt of Midwest Towing makes excellent recovery videos, frequently featuring a Miller Rotator, the flagship if their fleet.
Yep, definitely go check him out, TH-cam recommended that to me for no reason! 😂😂😂

Nice job guys! I seen Jamie winch out a dump truck the other day on his channel.
Good informative video Thanks' Miller Industries Recovery Team
Good video! Would like to see more videos on the channel. Thanks
So do you not extend the outriggers because they are not designed to be scoped out and stressed in the forward/backward direction just up and down?
Yes they will bend towards the front of the truck thats a no no
@@MattyM110 seen them bend like bananas doing it lol
@@Devourer221 so u bent yours😂
@@MattyM110 nah wasn't running the truck at the time Hahaha
I hope you all do some videos with the baby tator. Holmes 600R.
no mention of overhead wires nearby?
What is capacity on your snatch blocks ? Great job
One thing I've wondered lately is how many man hours each of your trucks take to build?
That kind of approach puts stress on your lines. Lucky it wasn’t muddy.
Cool beans!
Have you released brakes on dump truck?

🤘💪
Better sea Sumter wrekker he knows is ay olo with a holmes 750. Super
He loves to talk.
He is training, giving out so much information, for free. Everyone learns differently, he is thoroughly explaining things.
Sería bueno los videos en español.
This guy recovers trucks by talking them out of it…..???
He is training us about all the aspects that apply in this situation, for free.
Mucha conversación, poca acción....
You don't have to be talking the entire time less is more, don't repeat yourself so often, kep it clean and simple
Brandon it's an educational video he is supposed to talk. People remember when you repeat. If your so smart turn it off
@@thenussbaum44 Yeah, it is free training, he is explaining all the aspects of this situation, for Free!

For one thing...So they don't flip the wrecker with a sudden move. Dealing with a lot of weight.
