Rivendare's Portrait is already in the game. Been there a long time. I've never gotten it myself, but my opponents consistently do. Doesn't show visually, though.
@@garochompo5454 Well, tier 6 minions are better than tier 2 minions. 😁And with a golden Brann the tier 2 does better. There's also a chance to triple with it. But at the very least it's just a Shell Collector at tier 2.
That's creative, but I think it's just meant to be a cycle card to give Undead more to do on their turn, with all the "buff if no space" minions they added
I think what you're missing about museum mummy is that its 2 cards in 1. On turn 3 it allows you to buy 2 minions instead of just one Edit: also the titus portrait looks great! Finally I can just play him w/ stealth & not have to jump through a bunch of hoops to keep him that way
Op combo with 3 cards the thunder abomination double death rattle and the rat besst if you 100 attack on rat with gold triple death rattle that like 296 cards not spawning being over 1000 stat the. Use hero that swaps attack and infinite stats
Now *THIS* was an exciting reveal! Lots of possibilities and cool interactions Sad to see Nightbane go, but understandable with all the ways to buff attack they introduced
Museum mummy is basically just a better shell collector. I think it'll be used more for economy than for board state, but it lets you defer your 1g until a later turn if you can't use it the turn you buy it, etc
I would argue that undead are very much good with spells. Cause you don’t have to buy so many minions like most other tribes since your cards scale passively in combat. When I play undead my board is mostly likely full until turn 10 with the occasional switch out if cards are getting outvalued
It’s not a no skill minion. There have to be counterplay options for players that high roll incredibly high. And even then a good scam board also needs a great deal of knowledge to win with. Plus if you can’t counter a Leeroy it’s your own fault you literally need one card and they are useless.
@@garochompo5454 Good points. The problem is, players that high roll, also get the no skill minions, and get in tavern tier 6 in no time. Maybe it would be less of a problem if the game was more balanced. Maybe Blizzard should stop having tribes in F tier and S tier.... But overall, I'm looking forward to the new update, are you?
The Staff of the Scourge will be absolutely disgusting with onyxia, calling it now. Also, another hidden value of the twinsky lanterns is that it'll keep your board full longer. If you have the minion that gives your board perm status per all overflowed summoned minions these trinkets will increase the likelihood of that happening.
love the undead trinkets. inly sad about targetted reborn leaving but stealth titus, butchering each turn with perma deathrattle buffs and my undead army becoming 1/1 instead of 1/0 more than make up for it
the 5/1 tier 2 undead with battlecry summon1/1 workls well with the mug but thats about it. maybe using the minion that kills an undead on the 4 token deathrattle could make it worth?
I disagree with the idea that abomination doesn't scale quick enough. I often triple into it early and get it to 100 hp very fast. However I always sell it because undead are so good that I'd rather have another random dude with reborn and deathratle.
Yeah seems like an econ card to me. If you go 2 on 2 this would be another card that you could buy first sell the skeleton and then grab another 3 cost card.
If we look at it that way it is at least tolerable. Since we do not have to worry about winning early fights with no buddies being involved it makes it a more viable idea.
I thinks it’s also the reason why replicating menace was removed, just imagine tripling the demon magnetic when it has like 10 replicating menaces on it.
Has there been a minion as dominant as Nightbane over an entire season? It worked with literally anything as well as being part of the strongest builds in the game. Unsurprised it’s gone.
@@3takoyakis banana slammer was strong but you couldn’t put that on any build as only worked with beasts. Those other cards are tier 7 right so not really in the game much.
@@3takoyakis yeah but those aren’t tribe cards. And we’re not tier 4 at any time. They don’t work with everything, you need deathrattles or battlecries. You can just slap on Nightbane on anything, and when it was tier 4 it was just an instant buy a lot of the time. Even as a card standalone, nightbane was decent if strengthened your board.
I see potential, but I am still living in a world where losing your first fights makes you start to lose the game. Let me get fully over my buddy trauma then ask me!
If you are referring to Sister Deathwhisper it is pretty easy to not like her. She is the weakest of all the tier 6 undead, and to back it up if you look it up she has by a large amount the lowest over all placement average in all different MMRs. Making her very easy to dislike.
1/3 boardwide might seem good, but you're not getting many procs per fight. By the nature of the decks that run her, more and more buffs are landing on tokens as the fight goes on. I love the idea, but it just didn't pan out. Her adding mostly health and coming in at tier 6 creates a weird situation. Specifically for undead, a lot of your minions have terrible hp to begin with, so the effect would have be huge to make them survive additional hits. It isn't, so even if you get five or six procs, most your guys still die in one hit from the majority of enemies.
Its a shame rat pack is leaving i could see some gross interactions with it and thunderous abomination. You get a 50 attack rat pack thats a crap load of unsummoned minions

My rivendare: Has taunt
Opponent's rivendare: Has stealth
That tier 5 minion is the reason for tier 2 mummy to exist.
Summon mummy with a full board and crasher will buff your board because there is no space.
But even then kel thuzad gets the job done better anyways

Love this preview series!
That battle cry: destroy an undead put it back in your hand is pretty good with the caretaker. Free triple.

immediatly thought of Rat Pack aswell

this is an interesting build for undead they have but idk we will see how it plays out, I didn't like undead very much this season.
Twin sky lantern and the poison tumble weed will be funny
I did not consider that lol. Talk about your scam board.

My first thought as well. The neutral minion which destroys undead is still in the game also I believe.
