I believe that is better for a person to want to better themselves primarily for themselves because otherwise they will not sustain the healthier behavior if it does not come from within. They will do it for a while for their partner, or to appear good for their potential partner, but then will take the “mask” (new behavior) off once they have you. My husband did this before marriage but once he “had me “, per his own admission, he no longer desired to maintain that healthier behavior, as it was never his true desire to be a better person or partner.

@@jayc5756 The challenge is that someone can appear to be equally yoked, because they are masking, and then at a later point in time go back to who they truly are when they remove their mask. You are then blindsided by this completely new and worse version of the person you are in the relationship with, as you did not know that it was just a mask all along put on to keep you while you were their new special interest.

I don't get the idea of not taking and giving to relationships in your life at the level that the relationship holds. I don't believe one person can meet our needs for companionship. I would have missed so many opportunities for significant growth if I had taken the romantic ideal seriously. As long as I am not involved beyond my comfort level I will explore the boundaries of other people as long as they are not uncomfortable. My cut off is clear, and I stay clear about it. I am not romantic in any relationship or only one.
We need to be clear with people. We need to be clear with ourselves.
We need to stay within our boundaries for our behavior. Many of those are based on my spiritual beliefs.

Well, this is just my perception, just what I believe at the moment. I believe that when two people meet or you meet that special person there is just something deep inside that there is just that knowing. And you have to really know you, because I have met men who show serious interest but, that chemistry is always off. And I just know this ain't it. Just saying.
Ugh, I still don't get it. I'm dating someone now and its confusing. I think I need to get rid of some of these expectations that make me frustrated. Or he's confusing me for a reason. I just don't know.

I have turned myself into a man then..Becouse there are men I can sleep with ,but they are not the one for me and I know it .And it’s good to be real.But the problem that comes with that men do not want to hear it ,they take offence .So..it’s still hard to even find somebody to sleep with becouse they rather hear lies to feed their ego.It’s messed up.

If she's not the one for him, DON'T WASTE HER TIME. that's what makes me so angry about dating men. We have a limited amount of time to get our family and life together. Women know this, we have a monthly reminder of the passenge of time built into our bodies. Men act like they will live forever and time doesn't matter.

He won't take it that far because he comprehend that everyone you meet isn't yours. Women don't comprehend that, a lot of them cling to the poor guy even after he says he doesn't want a commitment. Already trying to force him to put a ring on it and in his mind he just know that she is not the one. Men know what they want and are looking for, while women create these big ass imaginary ass relationship that the man didn't really want or ask for. That is exactly what happened to me. The guy said I was too good and he just couldn't do anything because he felt guilty but he wanted a relationship but you felt he was not ready for one with me because I deserve everything. But I got hurt anyway

For the man, any simple misstep can ruin his chances at true love. Sometimes these are even uncontrollable circumstances, such as death, or other situational barriers. For the man to become worthy again, he must finalize his quest of discovery, or journey of self-betterment. The biggest adversity a man will face, is being “not ready” for “the one’s” affections. That’s why men are more inclined to “cut their losses” and move on, before a relationship is even initiated.

This how a guy who all but acts as tho HE loves me. For 5 years. He’s been in the military we’re lovers but he’s been GONE and stays in touch. When he came back I wanted more, he lives, stationed 3 hours away. He wont get more involved & then wanted to let go of me (mixed signal) yet HE keeps reaching out.
We have a deep, unusual SOUL connection. I think he loves me but is younger than I am & he comes from Wealthy OLD MONEY 💰. STILL worried about family & peers.
I KNEW the Vaxx was going to harm him. He got out of marines- due to the vaxx. Then he applied for his DREAM JOB- flying & DOD Contractor test pilot. He got cut out by another guy. I told him hang on because I had a gut feeling/ instinct the other guy wasn’t up to snuff & he’d get it in 3-6 months. He trusted me- got the Job exactly at 3 months. He took the first Vaxx / got sick from it. I’m kinda intuitive & especially with him. I’m a Christian- but he & I have an odd connection. I even know when he is going to call, text or, come down to my town.
I WONT have sex with him unless he wants to date ONLY ME.
