How many gallons does that fuel tank hold ? I have a 2007 Chaparral 256ssx with a 380hp big block and 82 gallon tank. I know its far from the ideal boat (sterndrive) to make this Bahamas run but wondered if it was at all doable. Might try it in a year or two. We are near Atlanta.
@@MiamiLiving305 specs say 11.5 gph at 3000 rpm which is 30mph on my boat. 18gph @ 4000rpm/40mph. It's most happy between 30-40mph and tops out at 56mph.
@@apw30534 if my numbers are adding up correctly you burn around 2.5-2.2 when cursing that should give you about 160 miles of range to be on the safe side
