This movie is such a musical marvel, I would strongly suggest to consider becoming a member of the Feature Friday Movie Club so you can experience this review at it's max. Of course this is not a must, we have worked really hard to try and prevail the magic of the movie through our edits and our feedback.
This movie has become one of Waleska's favourites from the Indian Movie and Music Industry. It reminds her of the best days of theatre with a new cinematic flavour. What a time to be alive this was and we are very jealous of those who got to experience this in the big screen.

I recently saw an American TH-camr’s reaction to this movie and they said how weird this movie was for them…. I didn’t expected them to cry but I did expected them to find it emotional which didn’t really happened… they are filmmaker’s and found this whole directing and style of movie weird and it wasn’t really their type… I tried to understand their perspective but I sadly couldn’t… watching your reaction and seeing you both feel what we felt was so wholesome. Thank you for always paying attention to details, to culture, to music, to dance, to outfits, to characters, to storyline, to editing, to directing etc etc so much. We trust you when it comes to reactions ❤

I think Mohabbatein would be a better suggestion as it is more grounded in terms of acting, especially from Amitabh, SRK, and Aishwarya. Plus it doesn't have weird dialogues like "my Anjali is more beautiful than your anjali, hey dude basketball, if i don't marry anjali i'll marry basketball" lol.

I’d have to say you guys enjoyed this movie far more than others who have reacted to it thus far. I feel it is due to the cultural similarities like Efra always says. I loved it that you guys didn’t get stuck in the ‘fat shaming not politically correct all the time’ part of the film that you get to see (due to it’s time of release & cultural stuff). It makes it fun to watch you guys over others. Hope you guys remain genuine & honest & your channel grows even more.

50:30 this is such an insult, especially to a child. "Manhoos" is basically being called a wholeass curse to the world (you'd have to speak the language to understand the depths of the insult) and it ain't a nice feeling.
Watch Kuch Kuch Hota Hai plz...it is a story where there are two best friends,a new girl,father-daughter cute relationship,second chance. it is a feel good and emotional rollercoaster movie filled with amazing actors...in lead being Kajol, SRK and Rani Mukherjee...🙂
That Chale Chalo song is actually from the movie Lagaan, composed by A. R. Rahman. They were just referencing it here.
There's a deleted scene that explains Aman's motives some more, and it basically boils down to him being scared of dying and being forgotten, so he tries to leave a memory behind for the people in his life; it's heartbreaking

I think the instrumental and the modernisation of this movie was phonemenal when it came out in 2003. We were still on the heels of 90s music but the Disco and Mahi Ve was so refreshing as it was very pop unlike other movies during this time. I’d say Main Hoon Na had a similar soundtrack tone to it too. But now you know why this movie is so loved, especially the heartbeat sound - it’s iconic. The reprisal of the main score is utterly brilliant, so many variations and truly the sad version is the best one - makes me cry so much. Thank you for this reaction Waleksa And Efra. Your commentary was dynamic and fun but I’m glad the emotions hit you as well.

Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, My Name Is Khan and Mohabattein. If you wanted to be really cheeky, check out Dil Se, Chak De India, and Khabi Haa Khabi Naa (arguably my favourite films of his)

I must have watched over 2000 movies and shows by now probably but this masterpiece always will be their on the top. I love watching you guys react because I know you will connect to it the same way and on the same level as all of us did when we saw these gems the first time. A few random things I would like to make note of:
* Everything fits so perfectly in this movie, feels like a million arcs which all have been addressed and weren't unwanted at all. From direction to the last bit of cameo, you just notice something in almost every scene which makes you go oh shit...........
* The music - MY OH MY. Till day I can't bear to hear or sing the Kal ho na ho song randomly. Only Sonu Nigam and only when I want to cry please, thank you.
* Only thing that will always irk me will be that how I wish you could have understood Hindi/Indian languages to understand the lyrics and the rhymes and the poetry of these world class pieces.
* You guys feel it on the same level as we kids of that time because you are kids to this industry and them feels hit you on a similar note due to the cultural likeness. I didn't use to but I have learnt over time that you have to enjoy any content with cultural context of the time and the space and then only you appreciate it. If you push your own beliefs onto everything, you will just waste your time.
* I really hope you guys don't do the "Indians are giving us viewers so lets praise everything we watch so that they don't get upset" trope. Call it out as it is according to you.
